Once the dinobot is setup stable maybe add multiboot to the vu+ for testing images

I think ATV has still more work do do on multiboot so flash openvix or openbh. Don't configure anything just network and initiate multiboot

You can then online flash ATV 7.2 or 7.3 to slot 1 leaving slot 2 and 3 for test images and add USB slots if wanted.

You just leave slot 0 as a clean recovery image

I have OpenATV 7.3 on multiboot.

Although it's experimental image oscam icam ipk on the first post seems to work fine.

That's still not fully skinned. Screens that show like that aren't skinned correctly. They should have full screen same as other menu screens

If it's a pay server surely they should be getting support for what they have paid for from the owner.

If you know the tsids then yes it should be possible

TSIDs that contain services that need stream relay (or this could be done by LCN or CHID).

I don't believe anyone will have all SD channels as some are extra packages but I think majority SD channels should work

I am never on VIX long enough to test it long term. In fact my main image is still PY2 based ATV 6.4, i did run latest pli for 3 days without issues until yesterday.

Have you had any issues with a crash?? see posts 419 on.....

Can you try running the STB in debug mode for a few days to see if we can shed some light on the issue ?

The post on 419 is for using softcam manager.

Latest ipk uses softcam script but it does make sense when I had issues with softcam manager restart softcam not showing till editing the binary name. This should be ok with softcam script

Depending on the flash size of your box you can use etc/enigma2 this means they are saved on settings backup aswel

yes they may work from where installed but normally they are in seperate folder in config incase you have various versions

Vix softcam manager looks for /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.conf

The ipk works fine

We do have a softcam script method that allows different locations but I'm not sure how that works. I think it looks for the init.d script but I can't see it.

Edit the script method was only added in vix 6.0 so that probably wouldn't work on older images

Transfer the ipk to the /tmp directory

You can then install by

Openvix

Blue > Vix > Install local extension

OpenATV

Blue > Plugins > IPK installer >select /tmp > Highlight ipk > OK

Or use command (make sure there are no other ipk files in the /tmp directory)

opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

How are you trying to install it?

Sent ipk to tmp then install. It looks like at issue with your extra ipk install path

Edit it's likely the spaces in the path remove them or use underscore instead of spaces

Sid probably changed with latest BBC one changes so it will have likely effected service references

I've been tinkering with skins the last few days and managed to change button code on V-Skin 1080, V-Skin-Red 1080, Slyk 1080 r19, Slyk Onyx, and SlykQ

This shows coloured words instead of buttons. I managed to copy some of the button code from Simple 1080 skin

This will work with other skins alough the colour may cause issues ie blue skins I have tried to change the font of Blue button .
