However, they cannot force people to upgrade to HD.
This could mean many hundreds of thousands being forced to buy a new tv to start with.

If you get offered an upgrade to HD, are they going to offer you the HD content for FREE then ?

They can't force anyone to upgrade if they don't want to as it will mean the customer paying out more money on

1 a new tv (many people still don't have an HD ready tv)
2 higher subs to pay for the HD content

If people want to keep the contract the same, they can do & *** can't do anything about it.

*** may make an offer, but that's all it is...an offer, but they can't force it on you.

The trouble is these payservers don't actually advertise where they are from & i doubt it would bother the end user either way really.

A lot of servers get a client to update the card , not their own box so they could use a client in UK no problem.

All i was saying was that if there was a problem with the card that it had to go back in the original box, that would be a problem for somebody in Spain or anywhere in Europe.

I've also noticed ECM times are much better this weekend pretty much back to normal & no whitelist changes either.

Not missing the point, as obviously people in the UK are using the Euro servers, but i am saying that if a card needs to go back in the original receiver for whatever reason, then
that can't be done by the Euro servers anymore, unless they send the card to the UK to get it re-activated by a friend & then have it sent back to the server in Euroland, but that could take a couple of weeks turn around
& come to think of it, they would have to send the original box back to UK aswell.

Yes, you are correct, you can have a card anywhere in the world & share it, but if there are problems on the card, you might have to put the card back in the original box
& that would need a good signal which now can't be done outside the new footprint.

I think with the new tighter footprint *** are hoping at 1st to cut out the Eastern European payservers as it's widely regarded as this is a big area for
payservers in Europe, so we'll have to see what the next step is.

And probably a new ECM numberr to add in to the whitelist....it's happening before almost every game now.

The box now seems very slow to repsond to the remote since loading this.
Might change batteries but it was much more responsive using Spark.

But i will persevere with it.

E2 is better than Spark if only for the EPG & plugins & Channel lists.
Although i like VHannibal lists but it's not available in the plugins settings list.
So using the Catseye list for now.

Oscam as client seems stable enough.

Mine were all over the place last night during the Champions League but calmed down shortly after.

This is no coincidence either as they have been changing the ECM whitelist number just before kick off aswell
for the last week or so.

They did it to Espn SD last week just before the Altrincham FA Cup replay & then on Tuesday on
SS4 SD just before the United game.

In Oscam i want to block 0963 from the Remote readers (peers lines).

At present i share & receive many local cards from peers & also Hop1's.
I want to keep all their Hop1's except 0963.

i used to be able to do this in CCcam quite easy but i am quite new to Oscam & i haven't come across the method as yet.

I don't have local 0963 in this server but they are on HOP 1 from peers but i don't want to receive them
but i would like to receive all their other Hop1.

I don't want block any other caid from these peers but only 0963.

How would i add this to the reader ?

Hi bobbyduke.

I find the same problem when using the Oscam but it's quicker with the CCcam plugin, SD clear in less than 1 second, but the HD take about 10-15 seconds.

When it clears it is very stable though oscam , but CCcam plugin does glitch more than oscam plugin.

I am using the Spark boot, not the E2.

I have found that if you have two incoming servers into the box, the HD is slower to clear, but when i disconnect the
server which does not have 28.2 east on, the HD clears much quicker like 2-3 seconds which is more or less normal.

It's just slower to clear when i have 28.2 & the foreign server both connected.

I have same problem with JSC Card (V4) in all CCcam versions.

When i take it out, the server runs smooth.

My server is a DM800se, which i have tried different images aswell, but the same result.

So i can only have my Cyfra card in alone now, if it don't want crashes.

I guess in the addons or plugins sections there is an option to download the latest key file and with it
the latest Biss file for PLTV on 10 east.

Has anyone with this box got PLTV HD on 10 east open ?
