Hi, would this be the same for an Amiko 8900, boots up to 00.00, won't boot up to spark or enigma even after holding down the OK button on the fron panel. Also, i think it's a clone as it has the flap across the front but the originals dont & i have both & they look different.

The judder fix on this image using the Alien 2 is fixed ok, have been using it for a couple of days ok now.
-
I have to say this is an excellent & most importantly , a very stable E2 image.
Well done.
Just one question, is there a similar image available for the Alien 2 ?
-
Yes, i think it's a hardware problem.
Quite a common fault on Openboxes.
They are cheaply made boxes so that's what happens sometimes.
I gather the scart or AV options are still working ok ?
-
I lost one aswell, it could be they are re-structuring packages & merging things here & there

All images are downloaded to your box at your own risk.
Perhaps you should reflash back to an image you know to be safe & works.
-
Just make sure the image you are loading is designed to work on sim 2.01, many images are for sim 2.10 so there is a difference.
The way you are loading image 1st, then bootloader is fine, i do it that way aswell.
But you can only use images for 2.01 unless you got another sim card.

There is a temp fix for the juddering providing your tv can withstand 1080p/25hz.
If you are using the April 2013 Satstation image, you download a new plugin called Autoresolution.
You can then change to 1080p/25hz on your box & it helps. No juddering, but it's not 100% perfect, but is watchable. -
Try removing some plugins to free up space

It's been all over the forums for months this, the best advice at present is to let your server update the card, not original box.

Enigma 2 doesn't operate CCcam, only oscam.
CCcam does work in Spark though, try restarting the cam after you enter your details.
-
or ask in an Australian forum
-
Probably not , but nothing is ever 100% certain, but it will be far better than you see now.

Hi all, can I use CCCAM with the HDMU.
This e2 image it looks ok "HDMU_1667_E2_SHD-8900_2" but no cccam or cccam.cfg to enter your C-Lines.
I don't like Spark I am used to Enigma software.
Please help if you can. Box is SHD8900 Alien Amiko. There is no CCcam in E2 for Alien boxes, just the oscam which are either already with the image or you can download
them from the plugins section on your box. -
According to my experience, the freezing & lock ups are down to signal.
Spark handles drops in signal better than Enigma2 on the Alien.
Any slight drop off in signal even for a split second is the cause of the picture fragmentation & then the box tries to catch up with itself & can eventually lock up.
Has been discussed on the other forum in some length.
They are aware of this problem & it's being looked into.
This is the ONLY problem on the E2 side of things & everything else works as you would expect from any E2 box.
it tends to happen more on bigger dishes that are on 28.2 east that blow around a bit, meaning the signal can drop, but on a smaller mesh dish that is bang on, it happens less frequently as that dish has less wind movement.
Mine even locked up on BBC1 therefore proving it's not an oscam problem as many have suggested.

You should have three separate entries in oscam server file.
Each sealion is it's own reader, so you should have three readers.
-
Re-start oscam to see if that helps, then check you have entered everything ok if it still doesn't work.

Yup i think will send it to seller to exchange. I've already have try everything, dunno what to do now.
But anyway thanks for reply :)Regards
If you have bricked any box yourself by putting in certain software that did not come with the box in the 1st place, then i
don't think this is the fault of any seller. You are after all trying to introduce something to the box that wasn't on it when you bought it, so any installing of software
is entirely at your own risk & that goes for any box.By the way, i am not a seller either.
