Hi,

Well I got to the bottom of my problems.

The box was crashing and my internet was unstable, to the point were my ISP sent me a new router.

I changed my hostname, reconfigured my router and no issues since.

My box had been hacked.

Quite nasty really, but hopefully my problems might help someone else resolve their issues quicker than I did.

Thanks mate. although believe it or not ATV crashed on me before I could add my cccam.
But I will give it another go today

Every time I flash a new image I do configure my settings again, in other words I don't have a backup.
Yesterday I did a factory reset but still the box crashed, I have to assume there is an issue with the hardware

did as instructed in last post, couldn't find a file named "settings" in /etc
so we will see if that has cured my issues
I tried 5 different images this morning and most had issues crashing,that is why I think the issue is with the box rather than the image.

Update

I've tried several different images and my problems are getting worse
Is there are hard factory reset, I'm have problems with my internet and I think its down to the box as well.

I have installed the oscam file onto the box and started it.
What do I look for now using DCC, to ftp the converted lines.

I have a motorised setup, I have tivusat card
The reason why I'm looking at this is because something is causing problems with my internet and my box goes into bootlogo loop
I do think oscam is the way to go but I have so many questions

You are right, but because I got what I needed for so long I never really took the time to understand this hobby.
I will keep you up to speed because I'm sure there will be people in the same situation as I am

Forgive me for being stupid, but how do I install this file
I really haven't kept a close eye on developements within this hobby because I always was able to get what I needed for a long time.
But I think I need to pay more attention

Hi,

I've used the VTI image for a very long time, but after I got a new card I had to upgrade my Cccam from 2.1.3 to either 2.2.1 or 2.3.0.
VTI only has 2.3.0 which I find crashes too often, 2.1.3 was very stable. Would using a different image and using cccam 2.2.1 be more stable ?
I have a VU solo2 box.

My box has turned on and is now stuck on boot logo. can't work with the remote or turn off with blue button on front.
I don't use the box much, it has VTI image on it for more than a year.
Is there a fix or do I return it to the supplier ?

I have been using various versions of vti for a long time with 2.1.3 cccam but about a month ago I got a new card which needs to use cccam 2.2.1 or higher.Vti only has 2.3.0 which I find crashes when selecting certain channels,sometimes even when the box is in stand by.Is there any other images with softcam built into its panel,I only use the box for watching channels so the image doesn't need to be all singing and dancing just stable

Just to clarify I have private and public ports open in the router to the receiver,are you saying I should have private ports only open in the router

I can change the public ip,this works for a while.
If I want to change other ports and passwords I need to know what they are for.
What do I need OSD username and password for?
Is Webinfo username, password and port tied with Wampserver only,if so I can change them.
