Im running oscam r185+Cccam 2.1.3 on a TM600 latest UR Image the cam was downloaded straight of the image blue pannel.

Ive noticed it has stopped twice in the last 3 days, and left my server off for a couple of hours, Ive read a few posts but the check restart scripts seem to be for linux pc servers.

Can someone please point me in the right direction to solve this issue on a TM600.

I have noticed on the DM500 there's an option to auto reconnect card handler but there's no option on the UR IMAGE for this. :haha:

Any help please it's a bit of a head bust.

Id also like to set the cam to reboot at 5am every morning or even the box to do a reboot which ever is the best option ?

If your freind is not as PC savy as you are mate, "LIKE ME " Oscam to read your card combined with CCcam to share is a good option as CCcam is so user freindly. Also Oscam can read not just pick tv, but HD and 3D channels can clear fine too. Using CCcam to read a *** uk card is just not practical especially with increasing HD channels I think there's over 40 now.

Oh and the fact you can buy a cheap HD reciever for under £70 it's all good :@)

I am not getting any results with the tool at all maybe its because Im using oscamm to read the card but when I click capture channel it is just saying system can not locate object line 0 not specified ?

Ive tried putting SMARTCARD SID ASSIGN : /dev/sci0 0 { } in my Cccam config file first but still same error ?

Is this because oscamms reading the card are because im using Cccam 2.13 ?

    WTF lol

Can I use this information for Sid Assign in my Cccam config here's my Entitlments ? was doing manually but it was a daunting task I give up after 40 mins lol

Will this work sommthing like ?

    SMARDCARD SID ASSIGN : { 0003, 000B, 0010, 001D, 30E1 } ETC ETC

Any Input Lads please Im pulling me hair out with frustrating here I need a pint lol

Just realised Im using oscamm to read me card and Cccam to share ?

Crap Ive just read sid assing only works on Ccam 2.2.1 etc fook man a whole afternoon wasted :@(

Do the Open boxes have the same mac address, its just a punt as it seems funny that one works ok by itself but not if the other connects ? It's like if two routers with the same mac address connect to virmin the boot eachother off. etc etc

    just a guess

Cheers for the input mate, I have phoned the caravan site and they have said, a small dish would not be a problem if I mount it on the concrete floor at the back of the caravan, which is fine as that's the direction it needs to be pointed at anyway and its all open.

So I just need to find a pole are mount/tripod that can be screwed to the concrete floor cheers for the input though, I thought a motorised system would cost me around £150 anyway, that's why I thought the 4 in one would save me time setting up and would be much more stable.

But suppose I did not do my ground work lol.

TechniSat Multitenne Satellite Twin LNB's Dish Receive 4 Satellites On One 45cm Square Dish!

This compact, high-quality square dish with a diameter of only 45cms - allows you to receive signals from the four satellite positions: ASTRA 1 19.2, East EUTELSAT HOT BIRD 13, East ASTRA 3/1D 23.5, East and EUROBIRD/ASTRA 2 28.2, East Ideal For *** Or FreeSat, Twin LNB's Ideal For PVR's

All positions are received in parallel and without any need for a rotating motor. To receive the four orbital positions in parallel, all you need to do is to align the Multytenne correctly for the ASTRA 19.2° East position.

The Multytenne reception unit provides exceptional performance. It incorporates four low noise twin output LNBs, which are controlled via 2 in-built DiSEqC Switches 4/1. This means all that is required for connection to the digital satellite receiver is a single co-axial cable.

Current tests show good UK reception as far north as Birmingham. Also recommended for reception across most of Northern Europe, including France, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Germany.

I get the feeling because Im up north in Newcastle I might struggle to get the best out of this dish ?

I need something small though and discreet because its for a Caravan ?

Any advice please Im after recieving euro sats 19.2e 13e 28.2e

    Any advice please

Ah cheers mate, I knew that you dont have to use the boxkey and I did have my mhz at 500 but was told to raise it to 600 to improve emm stabilty.

To be honest I thought 600 was high and would damage my card but it has been running fine for weeks, and auto updating.

I will take them out and see what happens.

Cheers for all the info it's all good stuff :@)

Oh I did not know I could use DCC to auto do all the work, that,s spot on m8. So I did not solve my problem after all you just did hee hee

At least I have a better understanding now, Ive been looking all night for a method how to solve this problem, cheers bud

really good Im pleased I posted on the forum, Where about's in DCC can I find the option to auto change my settings like in the pic you posted above m8.

    thanks mick

I see there's lots of post's about people moaning the cant get Oscamm to open the F1 channel or PICK TV

Here's a exact copy of my working config file which clears these channels fine. Just change the obvious Red Highlights

    Oscamm config

    [global]

I get the feeling most of you have not updated your channels/boquets though and that is mainly your problem you must do this quiet oftern when channels go off.

I have attached the lastest Boquet's of StFlipFlop for Enigma1 and Enigma2 there Identical to sly uk and have all latest updates PICK TV etc.

If your using Oscamm combined with Cccam you can put a setting in a trusted peers F: Line to update your card like this ?

    F: trustedpeer password 1 0 1 { 0:0:3 }

the second 1 allows your peer to send updates to your card. but you have to ask the peer to do the same change on his end also.

If your just using Oscamm by it's self use these settings except change the obvious in red works a peach m8

Ok after a full day of messing, trying to seperate one of my Redlight reshare's from a peer, so my other clients dont receive it, I found a quick solution.

Simply edit the C:line you receive from the peer with Redlight on by moving the caid identity up to hop 4.

Obviously you wont be resharing any cards from hop4 anyway, so this way you get to keep that Redlight channel for your second box at home.

All you have to do is set no limits on your second or third receiver box at home and you will receive the Redlight channel on hop 5.

Ok its not a great solution, but it sure beat's going through all your F-lines and blocking them from receiving that one Redlight caid.

If there is a simpler way of doing it please inform me

Example this is your Peers C:Line

    C: Redlight.no-ip.org 12000 Password no

This is what it will look like after you have edited it.

    C: Redlight.no-ip.org 12000 Password no { 0:0:4, 0b02:0:4 }#

0:0:4 is the amount of reshare's your peer allowed you to have 0b02:0 is the redlight caid identity and the 4 on the end id the hop number your moving it upto.

By putting the 4 on the end, you move that redlight caid upto hop4 on your server, out of harm's way of your other clients.

Ok it's not a perfect solution but its the quickest and easiest method that I have found.

Im sure there is an easier Method, but I could'nt find a simpler solution after hours of reading post's.

You can also download Cccam and others cams, add ons, plugins from your box, Go into the menu on your box, then look in the expert setup and find download add ons, select cams etc and choose which version of Cccam you want to install. Once you have selected it and it downloads reboot your box and thats it your done.

Just have a quick google about the image on your box and how to download from the box pannel server ( usually called blue button / pannel server ) It has lots of other addons and plugins for your box that you will need.
