yeah its the Alien 2 box. Tried openatv on it before but really preferred the HDMU image ,just cant see why its not picking channels up ,it did on the vix image which I hated though

thanks Bartyam. in tuner cofig I have...enabled then network id=0000 used service scan type =provider...provider to scan = cableuk sym 6887. that is the correct sym rate for my area but still get no channels on a complete scan. No option to select virgin uk ,other options for provider to scan but no virginuk

using HDMU image and everything from the sat side is working fine but having trouble getting any cable channels ,bbc etc. All channels scanned in but get service unavailable check tuner. I have tuner set to europe,mid east,africa dvb c but when i do a complete scan nothing found. it only lets me select dvb t or t2. Am i missing a setting somewhere to change the t to a c for cable?

found how to change tuner to c but still no channels after scan ,net id and freq are correct
removed the latest one and still a problem. oscamm 6666 is on autostart but no cam active no matter how many times i try to start it

just trying a few different things on the oscam side and find when i add cable and 28.2 all is fine. Seems when i add for other sats then things go bad

Can anyone help with my oscam please. had the vix image and oscam worked fine on en2 with sat ,cable and motorised sats. Changed the image to hdmu and now oscam works on sat but not euro sats. Have als tried mgcam and same result nothing on euro sats though they were fine on Vix. Can anyone suggest anything. Alien 2 is the box i have had most trouble with so far so any help and advise would be gratefu;l

flashed this to my amiko 2 and so far so good ,cable works fine as does 28.2. I created a cccamd.list file with the relevant details and as said 28 works but other stas are black screen. Using the default mgcamd and also tried oscam ,same result. When i rebbot the amiko the dish swings back to 28 from any other sat automatically. Any suggestions anyone
