Connected an Openbox S11HD to a communal dish.
Certain channels such as 11895 V have no signal. The box works fine at other locations, thus ruling out tuner problems.
Is anyone aware of a solution to this problem?
Thanks.

This problem is caused by firmware as I have tried on several boxes and different remotes.
In order to solves the problem:
Go to menu
> System set-up
> Panel display
> Choose show off
Problem solved :)Please note 'panel display' is not shown on 'hacked' firmware so you may have to revert to official firmware.

New Openbox S11 HD original,Chip ID 085B
Flashed USB using Red Passion (03/02/2012), Openbox Firmware S10/S11 17/11/2011
Works fine, untill I turn off box using remote.
screen on box goes blank and refuses to turn on using remote, or buttons on box. Must be turned off at mains socket plug and then turns on,
any solutions?
thanks

Tried using the search function, but could not find answers, so asking here:
Server: CCcam Ubuntu
CCaminfo.php update times
The update use to take less than a second, but this time is increasing as I add more clients/servers. I currently have 15 pairs and it can take up to 10seconds.
Is the normal? Is there anyway to speed it up.FTP using FileZilla
Is it possible to FTP the server using a popular client such as FileZilla, and if so, what credentials would I use? Where would the CCcam.cfg file be stored?
(I am aware of CS Studio - looking for alternate soloution)Thanks.

I must say, the support here is excellent. Fast and efficient replies.
It appears to be working now, I set up the port forward in the router, and it started working smoothly.
Thank you for your help, I shall try my best to help others in the community, with the little knowledge I have.

Success: I can see your service on XXXXXXXX on port (12000)
Your ISP is not blocking port 12000 -
It appears clients are not being able to connect, is there any more information I can give you to help resolve this?
-
haha that makes sense!
Getting someone to add my c line now. I have added the matching f line.
I also have no-ip host set up, hopefully should work, will update here.
Once again, appreciate your time. thanks.

Thanks, the WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001 was there, but the other two are missing.
I am able to access this page. I currently do not have any clients, so none show up. I have also installed CS studio.
Is it possible they will be able to connect without adding any clients?
-
Thank you for you replies.
I have completed all suggestions as advised in post 36.
It appears that the server successfully starts, with CCcam also.
I am able to connect to other servers. Is there a way of verifying clients can connect to me?

I am able to start CCcam using /var/script/CCcamCheck.sh ;
it does not appear to start automatically, how can I correct this?

I am using the OSCam/CCcam Auto Install Scripts Version1 20.01.2012 By Silverfox0786.
Completed fresh install of ubuntu on latop connected through wifi
Successfully installed script
Assigned static IP to server from router (left laptop as DCHP)
Can access server IP which shows CCcamInfo, however it shows unable to connect to server ip:16001
can access sever through WinSCP and update config filesI dont think the cccam server is working... any advice is appreciated. thank you.
EDIT: Thank you to rikjaard-real,Ten Below, GeorgeXL and master G for their help.
If anyone is experiencing the same issues:
Issue 1: CCcam is not starting with boot.
If you are using OSCam/CCcam Auto Install Scripts Version1 20.01.2012 By Silverfox0786, go to post 36 (linuxsat-support.com/linux-pc-server-tutorials/10585-oscam-cccam-auto-install-scripts-version1-20-01-2012-silverfox0786-4.html#post43548) , the part about rc.local controls what starts at bootup. - Make these changes and it will work fine.
Issue 2: Clients unable to connect,
Step 1: Make sure you C and F lines are formatted correctly,
Step 2: Make sure your router is forwarding ports properly
Step 3: Check ports using: [code] http://www.canyouseeme.org/ [code] -
Excellent script. Thank you. Looking forward to installing it.
Just a quick question, is it possible to remove the part which sets up the static IP? Which part would I delete from the file to prevent it setting a static IP?
