Hi Guys

I have sprayed the HDMI Port with Contact spray but still same problem - No signal on TV through HDMI port.

By-the-way, The Standbymode Fan Control settings = Fan basic action = ON. But I can see the fan is not working.
Do you think since the Fan not functioning (not working) could be the problem? (FYI the temperature here is cold 6 Deg. C)
How can I test the fan if it is faulty?

Can any one guide me how to replace the defective (not working) fan on my VU+Duo.
Tried unscrewing the 4 screws on the defective fan but the fan does not come out without removing the power board.

I tried to install 3 new different HDMI cable but nothing works. I then reconnected the original HDMI thin cable which came with VU+Duo and it works 90 % of the time through HDMI port, only sometimes NO SIGNAL, then I have to switch to Component and again back to HDMI after sometime :06:. I dont know what is the catch with this thin HDMI cable :06: supplied with the VU+duo.

Hi Guys

I have been using my VU+Duo for almost 20 months now without any problem.

I am using BH 2.0.7.3 in flash and also the same image in meoboot with 4 or 5 plugins on 4GB USB stick.

When I put the VU+duo ON it starts and the TV too is switched ON (HDMI-CEC). I can see the channel name on the VU+duo screen but NO PICTURE on TV. The TV Sony Bravia KLV-40EX400 says HDMI 1 input "NO SIGNAL".

I tried to use the VU+Duo remote to change channels and increase/decrease the volume, the receiver VFD display shows this change in channel. Still no picture nor sound on the TV.

Then, after 3 to 5 minutes or so after playing with the remote, suddenly the picture comes on the TV. Such problem never happened to me before.

I am not sure how/why this weird problem is caused with this latest BH image, Bootloader, hardware problem or something else.

This happens every time I put my receiver ON after long sleep/deep standby.

Any suggestion/recommendation/help appreciated.

Please read carefully, Master G has explained to you very clearly.

1) Download the IPK pack in post #4 above.
2) FTP the .ipk file to the /tmp/ directory on the receiver using DCC or Filezilla
3) with your remote control press Green and then Yellow and then you will have to use the 5th option to Manually install Ipk packages. Once that is done, reboot your receiver.

PS: "press 2 times on the blue button" = Pressing Blue button 2 times takes you to the BH Speedup, Cron Mgr, Osd Settings, Device Manager...etc.

I have installed the lastest IPTV updater 1.30V on my VU+DUO with BH 2.0.7.3
Beside the country iptv's there is also Adult section which is :

1) IPTV XXX-Adult Movies (VOD XXX) = I am not able to play these VOD movies, any suggestions/comments appreciated?.

2) IPTV XXX-Adult TV = Some of these channels are working.

Anyone has got these VOD movies playing on their VU+ boxes?

I have BH 2.0.7 (latest image with online updates) in Flash of my VU+DUO. I have also installed the same (latest) BH image, VTI and OpenPli 3.0 on an 8 GB USB stick in meoboot.
I tried to use the plugin FlashExpander and my TV went all black (no picture), tried switching the receiver OFF and ON again using the rear switch but still it did not work. All images in meoboot got screwed. Then I tried to boot without the USB stick and 'hurray' it worked :) with the Duo flash image.
I am not sure if I have screwed something on my receiver but now it is working ok but I using another 8 GB memory.

So, friends just be very careful when using this plugin. I would appreciated help from our expert friends giving step by step instruction how to use this plugin so that other don't screw their receiver.

PS: I am now using another plugin 'ClearMemory'. Is this plugin useful and doing the job of reducing load/pressure on the flash memory>?

Need your help in setting up OpenPli 3.0 in meoboot on my VU+Duo.

I have the latest BH image in flash and am trying various images in meoboot. Presently I have installed OpenPli 3.0 in meoboot and I am have the following issues.

1) I am not able to install MediaPortal ipk pack from TSPanel nor from tmp folder using DCC.
2) The current time set for my region does not show correct time but shows EU time even after changing the setting.

Please assist/help.

You are really doing an excellent job :thumbsup: . We all appreciate your hard work and time spent by you. Just for your info, we never meant to criticize you or any one in any way. All that we do is just point out the problems we face which will help you update/fix the errors. By this, we keep our hobby alive with new improvements, fixes and developments as rightly said by you.
I also hope you and your team will develop a Portal like the Germans and Italians do. I dont want to name them but I am sure you know what I mean.

B-t-w, any suggestion on the mms files which I am not able to stream on TSmedia?

I have updated the TSmedia to 3.4 and tried the Navi-xtreme (most-recently updated list) which give list download errror.

Also I am not able to play the mms streams on my VU+duo (It says - This file cannot be decoded by Microsoft Windows Media 9 streams) -
Any solution to this?

Hi Budd131

I am not an expert but from my experience you got to have a similar image in Flash - for example BH 2.0.5 should be in flash and then you got to mount USB for meoboot where you can test other images as well as backup images.
The Backup images which you download can be sent to Media/USB/MbootUplood using FTP in DCC or similar program, then using your remote go to BH Green Panel - plugin- Meoboot - (Red) install new image - change image name and then install.

Just for your information, I would suggest you read, there are many post on HOW TO :)

Anyway, if someone is struggling like me to run this plugin, please follow these steps as mentioned by Suites in post 2
- Transfer the folder mediastream (without 01) to usr/lib/python/E2/plugin/extension = as mentioned by Suites in post 10
- Transfer the contents of Python 2.7 in usr/lib/python 2.7 if you are using python 2.7 or content of python 2.6 in usr/lib/python 2.6
- Restart E2

I did what you said above - got the folder mediastream without 01, opened it and put python 2.7 inside mediastream and then transfered using DCC the mediastream folder to usr/lib/python/plugins/extension but still getting error which reads : Some plugins are not available: Extensions/Mediastream (No module named bs4)
B-t-w, I am using VTI image in meoboot.

What am I doing wrong?

Yes, everything was working fine in my old Netgear router which got screwed. Yes, I opened my cccam.cfg and I have 3 different c lines
each having different ports as mentioned above.
Yes, you are right - in the cccam.cfg the details are:
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
TELNETINFO LISTEN PORT : 16000
WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001

so, how do I proceed from here to set it in my router.

I used DCC - telnet and put the code SERVER LISTEN PORT: it says server not found
I have cline from 3 different friends each has a different port - like 12000, 19000 and 54736
Also I am not able to stream the youtube, mediaportal, TSmedia
