Thank you for taking users' suggestions into account and for proactively working to improve the functionality of so many plugins.

Regarding the size of the /pictures/ folder, I wanted to mention that it's quite large, which makes installing and updating the plugin more difficult.

I was actually going to suggest a way to reduce the size of the .jpg files to one-third without losing image quality, but your idea of using web links is even better

and will restore the original size of the plugin.

Thank you for the new features of the plugin.

I noticed that when restarting CiefpPlugins, the plugin descriptions revert back to English.

If possible, it would be helpful for the last selected language to be remembered, so we don't have to search for it every time.

It would also be useful if the name of the next language appeared on the Yellow button.

If many languages are added, it would be better to display a list of available languages to choose from when pressing the Yellow button.

Thanks for your interest in my suggestions.

Regarding the functionality of the Yellow button, you could name it [Language] and have it display a pop-up menu with the available languages,

allowing the users to select the one they are interested in.

I'll send you the Greek translation to experiment with.

For the other languages, at least the popular ones (German, French, Spanish, Italian), you can generate them yourself using machine translation.

AI translation is very good and comes close to human translation, with the risk of including a few irrelevant words, which users can correct.

Perhaps some users will help by translating the descriptions of the 21 plugins into their native language.

For switching between panels, the Left and Right buttons could be used instead of the OK button.

With the OK button, we don’t know whether we’re on the left or the right panel, since there is no visual indication, and sometimes we accidentally scroll the wrong panel.

With the Left/Right arrows, we know which panel we're on, so we can proceed with scrolling.

When you have free time, you can rearrange the colored buttons to those plugins that don’t match the layout of the remote control, e.g.

Some remarks regarding the CiefpPlugins add-on:

You could add the current version of each plugin either in the plugin panel or in their description,

so that the user knows if there is an update available for a plugin they already have installed, and proceed to update it.

In some (few) descriptions, the version is mentioned, but not in a consistent location.

In my opinion, the version should be added in the plugin panel so that the descriptions don't need to be edited every time a new version is released.

The font color of the colored buttons should be white to make the captions easier to read.

You could ask users to translate the plugin descriptions into their own language, and allow switching between available languages

by repeatedly pressing the Yellow button (English, Serbian, Greek, etc.).

I have already translated it since day one and use it for personal use. The Blue button can be used for another function.

    2.jpg

In addition to the above, it would be useful, if possible, to automatically check the installed Ciefp plugins on the system,

and change the function of the Green button to [Install] if the plugin is missing, [Update] if a new version is available, or

[Uninstall] if it's already installed and the user wants to remove it.

The Green button should change accordingly every time the selected plugin changes (Ciefpsettings Motor, Ciefpsettings Panel, etc.).

    Thanks

We've discussed the following issue in the past in another thread, but since it was never mentioned, I'll present it here.

The sorting of the images list for a Complete Backup is incorrect, unlike the lists in Flash Manager and Multiboot Manager.

I don't think it only happens to me (Octagon sf8008 - Εdision osmio4kplus).

Certainly, with Telnet you always have access to the current slot. If you are on the first image, you have access to slot-1; if you are on the second, you have access to slot-2, and so on.

The advantage of this line in the fstab is that you can have direct FTP access to all 4 internal slots of your box, regardless of which image you are currently using.

Thanks for the new features you added to plugin.

Some minor corrections in your description to use the built-in web server:

    You write:

When the plugin starts, a **masked access code** is displayed (e.g., **"Access Code: 12••34"**).

Open the displayed web address in your browser (e.g., `http://192.168.1.100:8080`).

Most users (like me) will be confused. You should write:

Press the Text key in the remote control and οpen the displayed web address in your browser (e.g., `http://192.168.1.100:8080`).

    You write:

To reveal the full code: Press **"0"** on the remote control.

To generate a new code: Press **"1"** on the remote control.

The buttons are reversed. The "0" creates a new code, while "1" displays the code.

I installed your latest E2iplayer version and noticed that the captions of colored buttons in the main window are incorrectly positioned:

    Red: Sort Mode

    Green: More - Menu

    Yellow: Hide/Active Group

    Blue: Download manager

    They should be changed to:

Red: Hide/Show Config or you can set it to something else (e.g., Sort Mode)

    Green: Download Manager

Yellow: Enable/Disable Groups or Hide/Show Groups

    Blue: More - Menu

    Thanks

Thank you for the useful and easy-to-use plugins you provide.

Your descriptions across all your plugins are exemplary — truly worthy of being showcased as a tutorial. Well done!

If it were possible to include them in a central interface and allow them to run from there without requiring a separate installation for each one, that would be ideal.

To be honest, I didn't want to start this conversation, but since it has already begun, let's continue.

First of all, I modified the fstab according to your suggestions in post #1. This is for the osmio+ since it has fewer slots and therefore fewer entries in the fstab.

    The file is as follows:

    Here are the results:

    1.jpg  2.jpg  3.jpg

As you can see, the problem in the "Image Backup" list remains. So, it is due to OpenATV itself and not the fstab file.

In image 1, we can see that all partitions are mounted, and we have access to all the slots and the hdd.

Our problem is that we do not have easy access to a specific image, and we either have to count the entries in the list one by one to find what we want

or write down the mapping of the sda(s) with the slots.

In the fstab file, the first column refers to the partitions we have created, while the second column refers to the labels of partitions in the first column.

The label can have any name we like, except for system commands and directory names used by the system.

Essentially, it is a directory where a partition is mounted. For example, we can use the following (for simplicity, I am mounting a few partitions):

    Here are the results:

    4.jpg  5.jpg

So, why not give the slots meaningful names so that we have easy access to them?

    Here are the results:

    6.jpg

As you understand, the partition and the label do not need to have the same number, but this does not confuse the slots.

I can put whatever I want in the label.

I hope I explained it clearly and didn’t confuse you further.

    P.S.

The reason I placed the hdd entry last in the fstab list is so that it appears at the top of the list when the system asks where to save the backup.

If I had placed it in its proper position (before sda3), it would show up at the end, and I would have to scroll through the entire list.

You might object to the fact that I am not using UUID for mounting partitions (I repeat, that's the correct way). The reason is simply that I don't need it.

As you can see, I'm using only one drive for slots, and the HDD is part of the card, so I get the same results as with UUID since the system reads it as sda.

If I had 2-3 storage drives connected at the box's startup, I would have to use UUID for the system to know which is which.

If I want to connect some extra USB sticks, I do it after the image boots, so they get mounted as sdb, sdc, etc.
