When that unzipped files inside are:

data.tar

So where do i fins bin file ?

Where do i find OpenATV start script to go in etc ?

Also where do i find mgcamd135.emu with the following files

emuname = mgcamd_1.35a

binname = mgcamd_1.35a

startcam = /usr/bin/mgcamd_1.35a

stopcam = killall -9 mgcamd_1.35a

same thing if i use chrome downloads has a zip file somehow i need to find a way to dis associate 7zip with ipk files , but at moment struggling cant find anything on the net.

I think i defaulted 7zip to open ipk files this morning read a thread about mgcamd to work on ultimo 4k where to unzip ipk files and use telnet to box.

I think that messed my ipk files up and turned them into zip files and now i download ipk file it downloads has a zip file .

Any help appreciated if you can help

Thanks for the info the problem i have the opkg tools is also and ipk when i try to download it comes has a zip file where i need it to be an ipk file. When i click on any ipk file firefox asks me where to extract ipk file since it comes has a 7zip file doesnt matter which ipk i try an download all come as a zip file and when extractewd only have 3 files control.tar, data.tar and debian.binary.

I need a way to turn zip ipk files back to original ipk files since every ipk comes has a zip file.

i did not install with the ipk

i unpacked the ipk with 7zip

sent the bin to /usr/bin

the config files to /usr/keys

and just used telnet with this command

I accidentally turned my ipk files into 7zip files howdo i turn them back to ipk files please.

Any help appreciated have alot ofipk files which at moment are useless for my box

Thanks for the cam and config but i need config for V***min.using cam 518 r796 but freezes every

Hi all

Ever since i bought my V+ Ultimo 4K having problems with Oscam freezing and glitching.

Pls can someone have look at the logs and configs and try to sort out why freezing and glitching.

Tried lots of images Blackhole latest alot of freezing, Openvix latest same alot of freezing also Openspa 7.3 same alot of freezing now using PurE2 6.3 .

Using Ultimo 4K only 3 weeks old and oscamEmu dont know which version downloaded from image plugins.

cracked it dont know why it wouldnt work first time round but now it works get logs on webif , used Oscam11.485 - r785 and everything now okay.

Hi all

For oscam log where do i oibtain that from pls. Is there any other location config files reside apart from etc/tuxbox/ configs, also another thing dont know if it makes any difference, Ialso have a mg cfg and newcamd list in Usr/ Var/ keys because of old box which was Gigablue Quad HD Plus with box using mgcamd 1.35a.

And for the command line do i use putty do that, also what does that line do pls.

Hi all

Having trouble getting oscam to work with Ultimo 4K on a blackhole image latest 3.0.9. Putting oscam server, config and user files in etc , tuxbox, configs

and installing oscam through ipk package and activate through softcam manager and nothing clears. But if i use Openvix latest 5.0.042 and do the same procedure

as above for blackhole everything works, so why cant i get it to work on blackhole image.

Any help appreciated pls.

Bought Ultimo 4K with Dual C hybrid tuner and FBC C tuner using openvix latest image, problem is no cam starting , cams visible in soft cam manager,

but not starting get message starting cam but nothing happens.

I know thats why I'm trying to use ABM to scan to get channels back but ABM not restoring lost channels now ABM finds 417 video 37 radio but no channels show up not even bouquets . Basically no channels at all even though ABM says it found 417 video.

Missing UK TV channels, that have returned to vermin. I have Gigablue Quad plus and openvix lastest build 5.1.032 which has ABM build in the image. tried to scan ABM few times today but cant get the lost channels back.
