**What is BackupSuite?**

BackupSuite is a plugin for making backups and restoring Enigma2 images on your set-top box.

**What it does in practice:**

- **MAKE BACKUP** → Save your entire system to USB/HDD/network to keep your settings and configuration safe
- **RESTORE BACKUP** → Restore a previous backup if you have problems or want to go back to an older version

**How to use it:**

1. **Open the plugin** from the plugin menu
2. **Choose where to make backup**:   - USB → Save to USB stick   - HDD → Save to internal hard disk   - MMC → Save to SD card   - NETWORK → Save to network share (NAS)   - RESTORE → Flash a backup image

3. **Press GREEN** to start backup
4. **Press YELLOW** to restore a backup
5. **Press BLUE** for help
6. **Press RED** to close

**Why use it:**

- Protect your system configuration
- Easy recovery if something goes wrong
- Move your setup to another receiver
- Keep multiple image versions

**Requirements:**
- Enough free space on target device
- For USB backup: USB stick with "backupstick" file in root
- For network backup: Mounted network share

The plugin is simple to use - just select where you want to save your backup and follow the instructions.

try restarting the boc 2 times

the plugin should update and have the new version

if you delete the .m3u files in the Playlist folder you will only be able to see the online files otherwise you will also see those in the folder

frankly I don't know what this plugin is for, I set it up on dreambox.

Show the photos you choose. Maybe it could be useful to someone or be implemented

Plugin unchanged. The first infobar does not keep the extra icon settings after E2 restart. The second infobar keeps the +extra icon settings, i.e. unchanged. The plugin does not remember the 2-3 locations added after E2 restart. After restarting the plugin, the plugin shows +extra icons.

My friend, I am not the developer of this plugin, I just adapted it to my boxes (dreambox and dinobot 4k)

So what I had to do is done, the rest is up to the owner of the house ;)

Now tested on openpli 9.0 and to make it work you need to install telnet from the command line
