    hi to you all .

    is there an easy guide on how to restore full setting from previous image to a new one.

    i have a dreambox dm900 with an openatv 6.2 image when i tried to restore all the setting back to pure6.2 i just couldnt do it went through the box with remote an nothing...... so now back to openatv again. it looks like i am stuck with it now and i cant be asked to go through all the setting ( dish motor/channels/satellites...) again.

    any help would be much apreciated.

    i wonder if any one can help with this.

    i have a dreambox dm900 /openatv6.2 i have noticed lately that i can not open the adult plugins such as y*****n ,p***hub, p***center........

    i do get prompted with message (the server is not reachable // ssl routine 'ssl23_get_server_hello').

    i have tried the latest image openatv6.3 still the same can anyone help with this.......is there working plugins to download.....

    this is the best know how to program the dream box on motorized system.

    i have spent weeks and weeks reading different threads on forums and trying to porgram my dm900 to motorized system with no result till i have read your post which should be in the stickies all sorted now.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    i wonder if anynoe can help with this .

    ihad openatv6.2 installed on my dm900 but after few issues with it i tried few images openpli , dreambox......

    i have installed the openatv 6.2 back but i cant restore my system settings back i only tried to do that with usb that the only method i am familiar with. sometimes the box reconize the backupfile then when it downloaded the box doesn't boot . and sometimes it doesn't reconize it (no backup files found) ( it drives me mad ).

    is there otherway of restoring it . and can the system settings be restored over different images .

    here is an update on the constant freezing of the image of my dreambox 900 openatv.

    i have noticed that the box freezes and stop responding to remote everytime i update it . if i dont update it it stays fine most of the day it hardly does it.

    very strange ......?

    any one can help with it.

    can i watch movies which are in my desktop pc ( hard drive) with dream box 900 , i can access the hardrives from my laptops over wifi (bt hub) but i cant do that with dreambox.

    is there a pluggin for this purpose.

    the signal strength is 85% on hotbird right now.

    when i said the clock stops on standby that's means i can't switch the box from remote it stuck i have to use the switch from the back for restart.

    is there any tips or tricks to stop it from doing it.

    thanks for your reply there is nothing wrong with my dish alignment i have a motorised solid dish mounted on a channel master bracket on the floor in garden.

    i had it for years ( it is spot on mate) getting sats from 45e to 30w.

    i have another box which is technomate still going on for years.

    what is annoying is these boxes nowadays they have top specs but still having these sort of issues.

    at last just to let you know that the box freezes even on standby the way i notice by the clock stops

    i have been experiencing lately constant image freezing where i have to restart the box from the switch at the back . having said that it happen even watching fta channels .....it very annoying any ideas why it keep happening .

    can anyone tell me what address to put and which file to put in i have dream dm900? i have been to all files mentioned but could not see where to put the ip adresss

    i already have oscam running on cam 1 do i need to close it before restarting the freecccam

    all installed nothing clearing oops.

    it would be nice if there was a step by step guide on how to use these special pluggins it is annoying not to know how .

    anyway i just stick to the oscam clearing for now.

    when i access the parry m3u file with laptop it works on vlc but not in dream900

    all iptv working

    now i have to scrach my head around the free cccam side.

    my dream 900 keep crashing at least 3 or 5 times in four hours or so is that normal?

    is there a satellite button or option to bring the satellite list on the screen rather than set the tuner everytime i am on different satellite .

    the satellite motor is getting moved by another receiver.

    what is :?: the best option to set the tuner for this case ?

  • oscam with openatv 6.0 (dreambox dm 900)

    i cant see softcam file from menu all i see is oscam status view + oscaminfo and those i have downloaded from extension in menu.

    how do i download the two files above ?

    i have tried to use the softcam concierge and it says file downloaded but i cant see it on menu
