you can flash droid to openelec stb yeah but i would flash the stock then this one to the openelec stb ,
there as always is a risk of bricking the openelec stb but thats the normal risks yah take :)im sure there is a guide posted t do this if not quote me on this in ill post it :)

i have loaded again via usb and through the menu, and as soon as i set ugoos android launcher as my default, the box rebooted itself, went to "updat" on box, and deleted all my apps..
this is 2nd time I have to re-load old firmware, just FYI, i have to go back to old firmware now
i loaded the 04,03 Fw and have rooted it and updated sorted kodi and loaded a list , i will be posting a guide / files to do same as i have done
i have just to reset the Q4 and reinstall to ensure the backups are working a ok
i am updated to l8st FW and am running smoothly here from my start point so the backups will be l8st FW to ;)i will hopefully get it done this weekend all files are uploaded to my dropbox and just been busy with other projects i have :)

ensure you have 1.6 Droid FW installed as this is the old bootloader ive not did a new image for 1.7 based FW
As there is issues with booting to Msd from what i have read :)
i might update the droid side after ive posted new Libreelec & E2 images -
rescan and see if without a list if they clear :)

nice one :) got a appletv3 cuttng about in a drawer anah but just noticed its for mac only
so back into drawer till ah aquire another mac as mine is kaput and in binn :)nice tut though and let meknow how yah get on with appletv4 :)

It does not matter Android. Kodi, IPTV, Youtube etc. of no importance to me.
I want a smooth receiver.
I know them all Vigica by c70s-c60s-c90s-100s, Venz K1-K1 plus, M8, . all very bad.
U4 quad as a satellite receiver : a thousand times worse than all of them.
Even worse than Android Philips TVs. :-)
Hisilicon was a pity the CPU.
Any Android or u4 quad, TV BOX OK. but NEVER a Satellite Receiver.well i have it working well as a sat stb within kodi live tv all favs set for only 1 sat 28.2
as for the droid side not fully tested as for what i would use for mainly retro gaming and few other things
not fully played about yet spent my time sorting kodi out for live tv as thats what most on here would use for
but im sure with enough patience and finding right workable apps for system it should be fine for my use to -
Is there an openatv sd card version with kodi 16.1?
not that i am aware of no , last i read they was waiting on wetek updates to drivers to move forward but never updated to 16.1 kodi

We are toying with the BETA firmware is six months. July 22 is the Beta firmware for me.
channel sorting, channel moving channel, channel editor all a complete disgrace.
I not take a more android receiver .the editor could be better but the system works well within kodi you can jst list it A-Z and navigate easily enough tbh ,
ive still to reflash the system as ive lost my kodi but im sure ill get a working FAV list to by manual edit to just a pain in the arse

yes i have 063, so i did via usb
but usb has 2 methods , u can do it through menu, or loda the update.zip on usb and boot up device while usb is in device and hold white button below
so 20 mins for yah to check then nah ? just back up yer settings for droid and kodi nah ?
updating mine the now will let yah know how i get on easy 58 here lol

installed via network update and now kodi is gone no kodi installed after install and also reboot :)
the joys :)
so if yah wanna post the kodi yah have used please [MENTION=254912]u4_support[/MENTION] would be helpfull as i much pref kodi for my system :)
followed the network update to get here kodi would not activate PVR so i factory reset andthis is where i am -
yeah more I think about it its gunna be shit I just miss my hd really
well get onto IPTV and set them into yer stb ;)
theres a few folk on here that could help yah feed hunt im sure for it :)
i do hear what yah say though theres not many HD content left on the 28.2 system but thats just as it is teh now
and we will have to wait and see if teh deets required can be exstracted via the chips that are been used
in teh Q box dontr see why not but its all down to time really and there has to be a reason why there not letting yah keep there stb
the old PVR systems was broke and you could avtivate many things on a non subbed stb years back :) so never know and proof will be in the pudding once more data becaome avail :) -

from what I can gather you still get 4 devices if out side your home but only 2 if you use them to watch tv in the house anyone correct me on thatwhy wpould yah even bother yer ass tbh yah can what ot does with Vu or Dm whats the fantasic reason why yah would go for soem crappy 4k service just as HD N 3D WAS

Word on the street is that Sky are switching off SD before new football season, maybe best to wait until after this happens
word from sly is there is a shift to remove SD boxes over the next 12 month from july this year ;)

but i see teh SLY Q box remains there property so one thinks lifting and dumping chips for the new keys ect ect will be possible
but who knows till its all implemented and active fully :) -

try the methods given on his post , it gives two ways depending on your FW installed does it not ?
havce you followed the install instructions depending on your FIRMWARE INSTALLED ?Quote1.check Baseband version (058 or 063)
last strings are version number.
if you have 063, you must download latest SW from above link and upgrade SW by USB.
if you have 058, then you can upgrade latest SW by Network upgrade function. -
If the E2 db contains Fav, the Favs will not be imported. Only the main list will be loaded.
It would not be possible to use the Wetek db even if they are from TVH. The db structure we use is a bit complicated.
can you use the app i gave yah above ,and work on that to convert the E2 to your kinda database as separate app if it was decompiled
and merged with the database you use ? i dont know the database you se and how its diff from wetek either that or can we get a VDR PVR
to be used on the Q4 platform as that database is defo the same across platforms ! i know its not as versatile as TVH but it is the ORG pvr system and
very very univeral for how the FAV lista are used and very multi-platform ;) may be a way to get a easy to use fav list as there is a online convertor from E2
that can be used across platforms as its Utilizes a channel.conf file and thats very universal :) -
made in bristol could be a bbc channel platform
and because bbc are moving pids/transponders ect ect because of Olympics
as catseye said could be issues onthese chans :)might be wrong but very poss this is why , as im sure yah know yah can sort this via
