I am using Gigablue UE 4K since 3 months with openpli.
After using Dreambox for over 20 years I have not noticed any glitches....until now.
yes ,reboot is a bit slow and I could not figure the use of older python and gstreamer versions.(hw ?)

but based solely on kiddaC's good work. 
...my speed is the same;was surprised to see ityesterday.I was using ajpanel because of it's speed.
Now I can use Xtreamity with it's nice interface

My boxes only work with kiddaC.Should be the same with this version:
I changed a line in aisubtitlesoverlay.py
self.chunk_seconds = 2.0 (before it was 3.6)
With the fast setting it is faster but not optimal.
The first 2-3 minutes almost no lag ,than lags a little
