Hi guys,

After a little help.

I have a few Technomate boxes setup for some PowerVU channels. To save me messing about entering the CAS keys every day when they change I have setup Oscam to mimic this. Followed some of the guides here and I have pictures from all boxes. Soon as I update the codes in Softcam.keys each morning on Oscam they start clearing again. The only problem I am having is with the Audio.

I have followed the guides above about getting the audio working but still no joy.

I have the boxes connected via CCCAM to Oscam.

Any help and advise would be great.

Think that might be the problem.

Yes mate I have tried this as well. Still no joy.

Oscam still reports it's clearing the channel but still no picture or audio.

This is the thing. Oscam is finding it and doing it's job.

Still no luck, even after using your configs.

Maybe the Zgemma is the issue.

It's an old Zgemma Star2s.

Just an old box laying about.

go to "Config"

then "DVB-Api"

see what's next to "API for extended CWs"

If it says "API for extended CWs" = "2 - OE2.0"

change it to "1 - OE2.2"

you can edit "oscam.conf" directly;

use FileZilla (or whatever) to navigate to *"usr/keys"

*("usr/keys" is where oscam configuration files are located in Wooshbuild/OpenATV images)

find the line that says: "extended_cw_api = 2"

type 1 (in place of 2)

save the changes.

Hi all,

I have a small issue but I know I'm doing something wrong.

I have been messing around trying to receive the SIS channels.

I have my dish pointing at 4.8E and an old Zgemma box connected to this satellite. I have done a scan and can see all channels on this satellite. Some of the Free ones work fine so I know I'm looking in the right place.

Anyway installed Oscam-emu in the plugins and I have imported an up to date key file I could find.

So now Oscam on any of the SIS channels its reporting it's clearing but all I see is a black screen with no audio. What am I missing?

Still not showing Entitlements no but still clearing.

New reader, worked first time.

The first one is running fine and has been for ages so I don't think it's related to configs.

As this second device is displaying different in the Scan USB tab I think it's slightly different.

I have ordered another so I will see what happens with that.

Seems to be related to the reader itself.

The other reader I have is an Omnikey 3121 Cardman reader but this new one is the same Omnikey 3121 but doesn't have the Cardman on.

I plug the reader in to the computer and a few seconds after the green light goes out and Oscam says it can't open device 0.

Maybe a different driver or something.

You can add as many omnikeys as you like. The only limit is usb ports.

Difference in configuration for another omnikey is the device value on the reader in oscam.server.

Example:

device = 0

device = 1

device = 2

and so on.

If you get iSerial 1 or 2 and so on, change the device value to 1, or 2.

Am i right in thinking it's not possible to have 2 or more Omnikey external readers on one single installation of Oscam?

This is the thing, even though everyone's entitlements have or are expiring cards are still clearing channels. It's like they have found a way to allow cards to deliver data to local boxes but house entitlements and other information in house.

I still think one day we are all gonna wake up and the lot will have stopped working but let's hope that's just a bad dream and it wont happen.

As you said johndeere88 VM is totally different. Plus not all of us like me don't get VM in our area so not that easy to test. We are still in the stone ages round here.

Tried 2 0960 cards and both are doing the same. They have been running for about 2 weeks now and neither has updated with any entitlements.

Still clearing fine but no updates down to the card.
