    Hello,

thank you for your quick reply. After copying the startup file, the receiver didn't boot either and FTP access was impossible.

I flashed the receiver using USB and I have to install from scratch. A good way to update all settings and applications. :-)

Because I installed a SSD, I have several backup's so my initial settings are not lost.

Thank you for your support. I'm back in the air

    Hello,

I was updating my Gigablue UE 4K receiver (Pure6.5) and after a reboot, it displayed only the startup logo. I tried disconnecting it from power but no result.

I tried accessing it using webif but that doesn't work either. Then I tried Filezilla and I can connect to the box.

There are multiple images on the receiver, is it possible to activate/copy one of them so I can boot normally and after that, re-install Pure2 again?

    Thank you very much

    Hello,

I want to re-install my satellite dish and want to use a Vu+ zero and a 1680x1050 monitor with a HDMI->VGA converter, outside to align it.

I'm not in the mood to carry a large FHD television outside.

What setting is the best to use for such a resolution?

I connected the Vu+ receiver but there is no 1680x1050 resolution to choose from.

    Thank you very much.

    Greetings Tom

    Hello,

    I have a dualboot Zgemma H7S with Openatv 6.5 and Pure2 6.5.

In Openatv I'm using an oscam-emu and the config files are located in /etc/tuxboot/config/oscam-emu and in

Pure2 6.5 the config files are located in /etc/tuxboot/config.

Would it be possible to configure both to use the configuration? all in /config.

If not, which files do I have to adjust to use the same configuration in /config and /config/oscam-emu?

    thank you very much

    Hello,

I'm completely new to Jedi Maker Xtream and I am playing with it. I am wondering if it would be possible to:

    1) Updating a moved (but not renamed) bouquet? After creating an IPTV bouquet it adds on the bottom of the bouquets list. Moving the bouquet upwards in the list and updating, it creates a new bouquet on the bottom of the bouquet list.

    2) Would it be possible to update IPTV channels, which are placed in an 'own made' bouquet?

    thank you

    greetings tom

    Hello,

as a happy user of Pure2 6.5 software on my satellite receivers I was wondering if there were users who use also an IPTV subscription on their satellite receivers.

What is the best way to implement IPTV on a satellite receiver and is it possible to use EPG for recording purposes?

At the moment I'm just importing the M3U list using Demon Editor but without EPG.

    I'm using Gigablue UE 4K , Zgemma H7S and Vu+ Uno 4K receivers, all with Pure2 images

Thank you all for your advise.

    Greetings tom

    ***** RESULT ******

After a good night sleep, I did the following:

    1) flashed Zgemma H7S with openatv 6.4 emmc

    2) only set tuner config.

    3) kept dhcp settings (using static lease)

    4) installed vpnmanager using script file in terminal.

    - replaced user with my standard PIA username (P1234567)

    - replaced password with my standard PIA password matching above P-account

    5) Box rebooted as programmed in script

    6) Menu-> plugins->vpnmanager

    - in VPNmanager ->menu->all config in one folder "YES"

    - check PIA username & password

    - Press "OK"

    - select country to connect to

    - press "OK"

    - IPaddress in top right corner should change

    7) Extra check,

    - open terminal and connect to receiver

    - copy "http://checkip.dyndns.org" and paste on prompt and press ENTER

I want to thank all who helped me with my troubles. I learned a lot from it.

It remains strange that when configuring VPN connections in the past, I had to use the X-username instead of the P-username.

    But as always, results counts.

    greetings Tom

Username and password are showing correctly in VPN manager. The only thing i noticed is, when I 'cat' my old password file it shows two lines.

When I cat 'pass.file' the prompt is directly behind the password.

I have sent my credentials to test. Waiting for a result.

I also tried connecting my Zgemma to my phone's hotspot to exclude network errors, but, same result. auth_failed

I don't have a pia account to test but are you generating both username and password?

username is the standard username which begins with a P. (P1234567) The PIA username for openvpn is the same but with an X (X1234567) and the password is generated.

I copied and pasted the username and password into the vpn generator. to prevent typo's.

    Hello,

I flashed my Zgemmah7s with openatv 6.4. Only configured the tuner and static IPaddress with DNS 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1

Used the vpn generator : https://e2openvpn.com/OpenVPN_Generator/ entered my PIA username (X1234567) and password .

copied the wget script line in Zgemma terminal.

Changed VPNmanager setup to : all config in one folder to YES

    and activated default DNS.

    Then choose Netherlands and OK

After a few flashes of VPN logo : Login failed auth_failed.

I checked my username and password in the PIA app to use the socks5 proxy and then they connect.

I think it still needs to replace spaces with _ though

Do you mean spaces in the filenames of the contents of openvpn.zip ? because there are no spaces, only underscores.

I still get AUTH_FAILED errors while the pass.file in /etc/openvpn contains my correct username and password and also the username and password in VPNmanager. (X1234567 / password)

    The script does that already.

renaming and moving the files to the subdir goes wrong.

    # rename .ovpn to .conf

    #for x in *.ovpn; do mv "$x" "${x%.ovpn}.conf"; done

    # Move all files into sub folders

    #for file in *; do

    # if [[ -f "$file" ]]; then

    # mkdir "${file%.*}"

    # mv "$file" "${file%.*}"

    # fi

    #done

    Hello,

i was trying out the vpnmanager and generated the script using : https://e2openvpn.com/OpenVPN_Generator/

On Zgemma H7S dual partition using Pure2 6.5 and PIA

When copying and executing the command, this was the result:

When trying to connect it responds with AUTH_FAIL . Ofcourse I double checked my credentials and I am using the X1234567 login name from PIA.

Anybody a suggestion what is going wrong?

    thank you

    tom

PS: I reviewed the PIA script and the move to subdir seems not to function. But I do no know why.

same happens on Openatv 6.4 on second partition

    hello,

as you can see, I made several attempts to flash my Zgemma H7S wit dual partitions. At the end, I think I succeeded.

    My installation went as followed:

    1) flash Pure2 6.3 2 partitiions from USB stick

After flashing do NOT restore anything.

    2) insert Openpli on USB stick into receiver and goto Pmanager->softw. manager->Flash on the fly select 'startup_2' followed by 'local'

Flash Openpli on the second partition.

    3) after flashing, go to the Pure2 6.3 and restore your settings. including external feeds etc.

    4) after reboot goto Pmanager->softw. manager->Flash on the fly and select Image version 6.5 and flash a Pure 6.5 onto the first (6.3) partition.

I'm no specialist but it seems when I restore my settings BEFORE flashing Openpli, I DO NOT have the choice to select STARTUP_2 and LOCAL anymore.

Maybe somebody can explain this behaviour?

    thank you very kindly,

    tom
