If the receiver does not receive an IP
, add if anything!!!
And so we need a mini-usb cable, a PUTTY program, a laptop (computer) preferably win10 (I did not check for another one), a network (Internet) connection via a router and MOST IMPORTANTLY a 1gb USB flash drive (NECESSARILY FORMATTED in FAT16)
Not all flash drives allow this. I was lucky out of 5, one rolled.
Download from https://dreamboxupdate.com/ope…le/images/dm900/index.php the zImage-rescue-3.14-r0-dm900-20181119.bin file (any last one is possible) and copy it to a USB flash drive. The file name can be shortened for example rsdmn900.bin
We connect the receiver to the computer via USB, network (Internet) wire.
We turn on the dream and wait for the installation of drivers for the Silicon labs CP2102 USB-UART converter, after installation we look at which com port is connected.
Turn off the dream and run PUTTY, switch SSH to Serial. And we change the COM1 port to yours, for example, I had COM5. The data exchange rate is 115200 baud.
Insert the flash drive into the dream.
Hold down Ctrl+C and turn on the dream, wait until the download stops in PUTTY and BOLT appears>
Next, we check whether Dreambox sees our flash drive, with the command
The answer should be
tru lala.....
usbdisk0 USB Disk unit 0 something like that
The next command will see that on the flash drive
the answer will
be the name of your flash drive, the size and most importantly the file copied to it
rsdmn900.bin and file size 1125677889 approximately
If the file is not found, then change the USB flash drive and check which file system it is in.
If the file is visible, fine, enter the following command
boot usbdisk0:/rsdmn900.bin
(or whatever your name is)
Wait for the download to finish
The following command is familiar to everyone
The IP and the inscription rescue mode will appear on the dream
Most importantly, until the firmware is flooded, do not turn off the dream, otherwise everything is from the beginning.
Now we go through the web, well, everything is as usual there.
Somehow that
