    As was stated in that post (AFN’s switch to HD), the AFN-Workaround

    will cause you to have issues with/lose channels:

    where channel SIDs employed by other providers, clash with/are identical to those used by AFN

    The following channels are affected (& no doubt, there are others) - but not too many overall:

    0066 = SrvID of "AFN PRIME ATLANTIC" [AFN EUROPE] on 11804 V @9E

    0066 = SrvID of "Animal Planet Europe" [DISCOVERY EUROPE] on 12322 V @4.8E

    0066 = SrvID of "MSNBC" [MTN WORLDWIDE TV] on 12509 H @20W

    >>

    006A = SrvID of "AFN Spectrum" [AFN EUROPE] on 11804 @9E

    006A = SrvID of "BBC WORLD NEWS" [MTN WORLDWIDE TV] on 12509 H @20W

    >>

    0191 = SrvID of "REAPER (EPG VIDEO)" [AFN EUROPE] on 11804 V @9E

    0191 = SrvID of "ID Xtra Europe" [DISCOVERY EUROPE] on 12322 V @4.8E

    1,2. Install the attached latest oscam emu. Everything is configured. I`ve also added the latest SoftCam.Key from enigma1969.

    oscam configs are in /usr/keys

    To find webinterface port open oscam.conf > [webif] httpport = 8888

    4. There is a Live log in the webinterface. If you would like to view a file set the location in oscam.conf > [global] logfile = var/log.oscam.log

    Thanks master G for providing an up-2-date IPK - "OSCam.Emu 11400 r767"

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Apologies, if I'm wrong,

    but I think the setup is routing ALL PVu through the AFN Reader;

    & the "cacheex" settings are causing ONLY AFN to Decrypt:

    [reader]

    label = AFN

    cacheex = 1

    cacheex_maxhop = 1

    cacheex_allow_request = 1

    Others (& possibly yourself master G?) have previously posted a more complex set of files elsewhere, that work for most PVu

    [with the exception of MTN Worldwide TV, which is DOWN, on ALL EMU's atm, afaics]

    If actu_8 is only after NON-AFN PVu channels,

    he could just delete the AFN reader [as well as doing what I said in the previous post] & all should be well'.

    Firstly:

    Rename the created "Softcam.Key" file to "SoftCam.Key"

    [You'll find it in "/usr/keys"]

    Note: The above step may not be necessary; I think I left a SoftCam.Key file in user/keys; That may have caused the one that's included in the IPK to be renamed to Softcam.Key (rather than over-writing the existing file)?

    Secondly:

    Edit your "oscam.conf" file

    [You'll find it in "/usr/keys"]

    Where it says:

    "extended_cw_api = 2"

    change it to:

    "extended_cw_api = 1"

    OR you can do so through OSCam WebIf (i.e. Web Interface)

    http://192.168.xxx.xxx:8888/

    a.

    Click-on "Config

    b.

    Click-on "DVB-Api"

    c.

    Where it says "API for extended CWs"

    Change from:

    "2 - OE2.0"

    to:

    "1 - OE2.2"

    d.

    Click-on "Save"

    e.

    Re-Start "OSCam.Emu 11400 r767"

    My STB:

    Zgemma H5.2S w/ Wooshbuild_v7.002/OpenATV_v6.1

    Hello slpx

    Your Web-Interface Log is effectively saying a few things:

    You have a reader in your "oscam.server" file, that is looking for a file called "oscam.keys"

    +

    You have a reader in your "oscam.server" file, that is looking for a file called "oscam.constant.cw"

    "oscam.keys" & "oscam.constant.cw" are only associated with OSCam-Ymod - NOT OSCam-EMU.

    You may have installed an OSCam-Ymod IPK in error?

    (& possibly have over-written the (Ymod) oscam bin file with an oscam bin update that is for OSCam-EMU?)

    You will need to:

    Un-install OSCam completely

    Reboot

    Then install "OSCam-EMU" using the most recent IPK file, that suits your STB & Image.

    If the most recent IPK file you install, is older than oscam-emu svn11398_r766,

    you should then manually replace the oscam bin file with the most up-2-date:

    i.e. svn11399_r766 (svn11398_r766 is OK also).

    If you have used an older IPK, an old SoftCam.Key file will be installed with it;

    you should then replace it with your new SoftCam.Key file

    Find the correct files, before you start.

    I don't have time to look/link atm

    OUTAGE WAS TEMPORARY - don't know what caused it

    MTN was decrypting again via emu, just prior to 3 am [UTC]

    (according to a member of another Forum).

    The HASH MODE has NOT changed.

    svn11398_r766 & svn11399_r766 are decrypting MTN again.

    During the "outage":

    Signals were present on the MTN Transponders

    Emulators were apparently finding/extracting the correct CWs

    But channels were not clearing.

    Were Official MTN Boxes affected?

    The 3 New Channels [FOOD, TRAVEL & HGTV]

    were only added to MTN's lineup on NSS-12 @57E

    [C Band: 4096 R 30000-5/6 DVB-S2 QPSK]

    FlySatNews (2-2-18):

    432fc60ce42e7b47a74.jpg

    +++++++++++++++++++++

    Also, there has been another Key Change today/find attached.

    MTN is DOWN atm, on OSCam-EMU svn11398_r766 & svn11399_r766

    [I can only confirm for MTN on Ku Band NSS7 20W, as I dont have a C Band setup]

    A contributor to another Forum (sat-universe.com) is reporting that they have, at the same time added 3 New Services:

    Food, HGTV and Travel.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    ## THE ADDITION OF NEW CHANNELS WOULD SUGGEST A NEED TO RESCAN ##

    These "new channels" may not apply to Ku Band?

    I cannot Re-Scan now, as NSS7 has moved outside the focus of my dish.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    There are NO HASH MODE Errors indicated in the OSCam WebIf Log

    Note to Newbies:

    Ensure that the PVu section of Your SoftCam.Key file is structured correctly:

    https://github.com/oscam-emu/oscam-emu/wiki/PowerVU-config

    A practical correctly structured currently working (MTη) example

    is attached below

    You are very close to having things fully working.

    You need to create an "Oscan.services" file with specific content,

    also to add another reader to the "Oscan.server" file

    + a couple of other changes to it.

    Read the following Post, & other posts surrounding it in the thread:

    AFN’s switch to HD

    There is a strange problem regarding decoding of audio for channels. On few channels there is no audio on first option from the first list of audios avaiable. When I change audio to 2nd selection of audio list than there is the audio. But for channels which broadcasted with single audio source I am not able to receive any audio. Plz help to resolve this.

    It's possible that the Audio related Defaults in your image are set to choose options that your set up cannot handle or handle correctly?

    Though that wouldn't explain:

    "for channels which broadcasted with single audio source I am not able to receive any audio"

    Anyhow

    Try making adjustments in "Auto language selection";

    changes will be implemented globally.

    The most direct way to get to these settings on my Zgemma with Wooshbuild/OpenATV_v6.1 is:

    Press the AUDIO button on the RCU - a menu opens entitled "Select audio track"

    Press the MENU button on the RCU - a menu opens entitled "Auto language selection"

    [The longer way: Press MENU button, then choose: Setup > Audio > Auto language selection]

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Initially try this:

    Set Both "Prefer AC3 track" & "Prefer AC3+ track" to > NO <

    Then press the GREEN button - to save changes.

    This may restore audio to most channels?

    Flick to a few channels and see.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    I prefer to leave both set to > YES <

    1.

    Whatever happens, I would advise you to make this important change:

    Look for "Prefer audio track stored by service"; & change it/set it to > YES <

    That will ensure any audio track selection changes you make on individual channels in the future will be remembered (not lost on a reboot)

    2.

    I leave "Prefer AC3" set to YES [because AC3 (essentially Dolby Digital) Audio is preferable to MPEG, even if you don't have a surround-sound system]

    > BBC & ITV @28E use it.

    Some channels/providers implement it in a way that my STB cannot handle correctly;

    SIS Live @4.8E for instance.

    Initially I had no audio on SIS channels. To fix this, I chose to manually change them one-by-one to MPEG.

    If I had set "Prefer AC3" to NO, I would have sound back on SIS chans, without having to make individual adjustments; BUT this would force ALL channels on the STB to use an MPEG Codec, ignoring the better quality AC3.

    3.

    I also set "Prefer AC3+ track"; to > YES < [AC3+ is essentially Dolby Digital Plus]

    Some channels only offer either MPEG or AC3+ (i.e. no AC3)

    is a bit like the "dreaded" BSOD/Blue Screen of Death/STOP ERROR in older versions of Windows...

    ...it doesn't always point you in the right direction

    As I've found in the past, it can mean something as simple as having the the wrong key(s) in the SoftCam.Key file.

    If that's your issue, this should confirm & resolve:

    See the attached file "MTN_22-1-18.txt"

    It contains SoftCam.Key entries for MTN 57°E, 20°W, 34.5°W & 177°W

    [they were working last night; were still OK as of 12:15 UTC 22-1-18, when the drifting/inclined-orbit of NSS7 @20W re-entered the path of my fixed dish; & still OK @22:15, when it moved out of focus]

    Just

    Remove/Delete ALL parts that relate to MTN from the SoftCam.Key file that's on your box.

    Then add the entire contents of the attached "MTN_22-1-18.txt" file onto the end of it.

    Save the changes & Restart OSCam-EMU.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Step-By-Step for Newbies:

    1.

    Tune your box to an MTN channel

    2.

    Use your FTP Client (I use FileZilla) to backup the full SoftCam.Key file that's on your box, to your PC

    3.

    Right-click on the SoftCam.Key file that's on your box

    & choose view/edit

    4.

    Carefully highlight & Remove/Delete ALL sections of that SoftCam.Key file that relate to MTN 57E & 20W.

    5.

    Now Copy the entire contents of the attached "MTN_22-1-18.txt" file,

    & Paste it onto the end of the open SoftCam.Key file.

    6.

    Save the changes

    7.

    Save again, as requested

    8.

    Restart oscam-emu, by either of these two ways:

    a > Using the RCU

    [the following is correct for my image Wooshbuild/OpenATV6.1, others will differ]

    Press the BLUE Button on the RCU (to open the "Quick Launch" Menu)

    Scroll down to "Softcam" & press OK

    Press OK again, the "Softcam Panel" opens

    Where you see: "Select Cam 1" ensure OSCam EMU is selected

    Click the GREEN Button - OSCam will Restart

    If it restarts you will see "active CAM1:OSCam.EMU xxx" lower down in the Softcam Panel

    Press EXIT a few times

    [the address looks something like this "http://192.168.xxx.xxx:8888/"]

    Click-on "Restart" in the top right corner

    Click-on the "Restart" button, near the centre of the page

    Click-on the OK button, in the message that pops up

    Important:

    Sometimes/often the EMU will fail to start the first time;

    If that happens you will have to use the RCU method to restart it

    [as the OSCam Web Interface is now OFF at the STB end - so you won't be able to connect]

    The OSCam-EMU usually doesn't fail to start on the second attempt.

    I have not modified the original juli13 files in any way,

    apart from inserting "_r766" in the zip titles.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    I'm using "oscam-svn11398_r766-mipsoe20-webif-emu"

    [which suits my Zgemma H5.2S with Wooshbuild_v7.002/OpenATV_v6.1]

    & can confirm it's working to decrypt MTN Ku Band on 20W:

    The following Notice [accompanied by classical music]

    began being broadcast on ALL AFN TV Channels @9E

    from 06:00 UTC today Saturday 20th January 2018:

    d5d8fb221.jpg

    ALL AFN 9E Radio Stations are broadcasting the same classical piece.

    This was just one ONE HOUR after the "Government Shutdown" came into effect on the east coast of the US - they didn't delay...

    :(

    Won't be forever...

    Also true of MTN here in Europe

    I can confirm OScam-EMU v11398 r765 no longer decrypts the MTN 20W Ku Band Channels

    [on 12509 H 2082-2/3 QPSK DVB-S2 & 12513 H 3320-3/4 DVB-S]

    (it was still decrypting them when I checked @15:45 UTC today)

    Now, Keys are being found;

    But the HASH MODE has Changed (from MODE [9] to MODE [5])

    *Only MTN channels are affected here.

    *FootNote:

    Only MTN channels are affected here.

    Don't be confused by the words "AFNPrimeAtlantic" in my log.

    This info is automatically pulled from "oscam.srvid2"

    where I've previously entered/typed-in TWO channel Titles where PVu SrvIDs CLASH.

    0066 = SrvID/SID of "MSNBC International" on "MTN Worldwide" @20W

    0066 = SrvID of "AFN Prime Atlantic" on "AFN Europe" @9E

    Normally Duplicate/Clashing SrvIDs in PVu channels pose no problems,

    as long as the "SoftCam.Key" file contains separate GroupIDs

    However, AFN is a special case since December 2017:

    AFN’s switch to HD

    Hi Niosi

    I have installed the oscam but it can not open any channel on MTN 57e

    Just a thought:

    Your current issue may be K€y related (or not at all);

    There was a K€y Change about 3 Hours ago.

    I can confirm that the New "00" is currently active.

    The attached "MTN_21.00-UTC_5-JAN-2018.txt" file contains MTN PVu K€ys - nothing else

    & is an amalgamation of MTN 20W & MTN 57E

    When included in the "SoftCam.Key file

    it currently works with OScam-emu 11397 r765, to open MTN on 20W Ku Band, on my ZGemma H5.2S.

    EMMs/UAs may be incorrect.

    There is someone to help me to setup Ncam or Oscam to see SRG Suisse ?

    Thank

    Hispa

    No Special Settings required/Use the Default installation.

    Use the most recent version of either Cam;

    Re. NCam>>

    Unofficial NCam v4.0 is here:

    Ncam 4.0 compiled and patched by marouan & RAED

    Re. OScam>>

    OScam-EMU is preferable over OScam as it has additional functionality (PVu Decryption).

    1) Download OScam-emu 11392 IPK here:

    OSCam-EMU 11392 IPK For OE2.0 Mips Based Receivers Various Images

    2) Download 11397 r765 file here:

    Oscam-EMU OE1.6/2.0/Fpu/PLI4.0

    3) How to upgrade:

    OSCAM-EMU 11392 INSTALLED, HOW DO I UPGRADE TO 11397

    Note:

    Old Cam versions (practically any version) will decrypt Viaccess 2 (used by SRG)

    but some others (eg MTN's PVu) require the most up2date version.

    NB:

    Ensure that your "SoftCam.Key" file contains the attached information;

    Copy & Paste it in (if it is not already in there).
