    In OScam Webif,

    go to "Config"

    then "DVB-Api"


    see what's next to "API for extended CWs"


    If it says "API for extended CWs" = "2 - OE2.0"


    change it to "1 - OE2.2"

    you can edit "oscam.conf" directly;


    use FileZilla (or whatever) to navigate to *"usr/keys"

    *("usr/keys" is where oscam configuration files are located in Wooshbuild/OpenATV images)

    find the line that says: "extended_cw_api = 2"

    type 1 (in place of 2)

    save the changes.

    Just a heads up on UA/EMM:


    All my AFN channels had stopped working overnight,


    OScam-WebIf was indicating:

    "rejected group (X ms) (no matching reader)"


    From my experience, that message is usually a "Lie"

    & is most commonly caused when there has been a Key Change

    i.e. the SoftCam.Key file no longer contains the correct key.


    It took me a while to figure out what the issue was, in this instance;


    An UA/EMM caused Wrong/FAKE Keys to be added to the end of the SoftCam.Key file


    P A75F 0057xx0F 2C28xxxxxxF63D was the culprit:

    (I'm using "x" to hide some info)


    Some entries that were automatically added to end of SoftCam.Key file:

    Is this deliberate, or just a glitch?


    Got channels back again by deleting the relevant lines from end-of-file & re-starting oscam-emu


    In the meantime I've excluded that particular UA/EMM (to prevent re-occurrence) as follows:

    Note for Newbies

    [I'm new to Linux based boxes myself, but did a lot of work in the past with SL-65 STBs]:


    "0066" is the ProvID for AFN Prime Atlantic


    "A75F" is the GroupID that I use for all of the AFN channels


    It can be ANY FOUR HEX digits;

    & Must be the same four for all channels in the Group (that use the same key for decryption).

    Other Groups must have different GroupIDs.


    There are 16 HEX Digits as follows

    0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F

    ALL Letters after F (eg: G or P or X) are Invalid

    but not working when those 3 Lines are added to oscam.server,

    when running oscam-emu 11392 r762 [on WooshBuild_v7.002/OpenATV_v6.1]


    It causes blank screen for ALL PVU channels on 9E

    & ALL Other Sats (noticed on: Discovery Nets on 4.8E, MTN on 20W, etc)

    though OScam-WebIf indicates keys found.

    11804 V 27500 FEC 7/8 QPSK DVB-S2

    The FTA signal was again absent from c. 01:42 to c. 01:54 UTC 12-12-2017

    Looks like the AFN switch-over/upgrade to HD on 9E is happening on schedule:


    All AFN channels on

    11804 V 27500 3/4 DVB-S

    ceased broadcasting about an hour ago/i.e. no signal since 23:00 UTC 11-12-2017


    11766 V 27500 3/4 DVB-S

    is still active, broadcasting the "AFN Guide"

    I also have an H5.2S (with about 7 weeks).


    My experience:


    PVu decoding [without stream-relay] is ALWAYS SMOOTH on these Packages (bar the odd glitch):

    4.8E/12303H: ΛRQIVA [Diva/Unιversal]

    4.8E/12322V & 12360V: DISCOVERY Networks

    4.8E/12418H: SΙS Live [Bookie's Feeds]


    9E/11804V: "HD SPORTS" (DVB-S) is the only ΛFN Europe channel here that has smooth motion.


    PVu decoding [without stream-relay] is ALWAYS CHOPPY on these:

    9E/11804V & 11766V: ΛFN Europe channels; Atlantic, Fam/Pulse, Movie, News, Pacific, Spectrum, Sports & Sports2

    [as said: "HD SPORTS" is OK]

    Note: ΛFN say they will have all of those upgraded to HD before 2018.


    The above is true of all 11391 & 11392 oscam-emu versions & revisions that I've installed & tested on WooshBuild/ATV6.0, WooshBuild7/ATV6.1, OpenVIX 5.0, OpenATV 6.0, OpenATV 6.1,OpenPLi 6.0 & OpenPLi 4


    It's also true of Ncam v3.1 (marouan & RAED version) as used on WooshBuild/ATV6.0.

    Improvements the good-guys have made in release version 756 [at least when applied to 11392 in OpenATV] have corrected this error:

    "(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR_MODE): Invalid argument"

    & this error:

    "(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR): Invalid argument"

    UPDATE Re. OSCam-EMU 11392:


    I've overwritten release version 755 of the "oscam" file [located in usr/bin]

    with v756, from here:

    Oscam-EMU OE1.6/2.0/Fpu/PLI4.0


    Notable Improvement:

    The Webif Log for ALL ΛFN channels on 9E is now CLEAN/The following Errors no longer exist in the Log:

    "(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR_MODE): Invalid argument" &

    "(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR): Invalid argument"


    I then updated to v757, obtained from here:

    Not sure if any of the updates are intended to effect MŦN decryption,

    With the Defaults left intact, MŦN is still silent.

    No luck with MŦN:


    Re. OSCam-EMU 11392/11392_v755:


    I've been unable so far to achieve decryption of "MŦN Worldwide" 20W, using "OSCam-EMU 11392" with diff entry formats in the SoftCam.Key file & changes to other files.


    Let me know whether or not 11392 is opening MŦN on ANY boxes/configurations?

    (people refer to PV opening, but they may have not checked out MŦN)


    Other PV channels that I'm receiving are Decrypting.


    I've attached Webif Logs for the MŦN Channels (& working ΛFN) + SoftCam.Key contents, etc.


    Part of Log reads: "rejected group (1 ms) (no matching reader)"

    I've found that one reason for this error appearing is Clashing/Duplicate SRVIDs in the SoftCam.Key file.

    I use GROUPIDs in all SoftCam.Key files, so that isn't the issue here.


    Thoughts:


    Do I need to update Drivers? MENU>Information>About indicates: "Drivers: 2017-10-09"

    [Though ALL ΛFN channels on 9E open, the logs indicate the following errors,

    on the SD channels, between key finds:

    "(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR_MODE): Invalid argument" &

    "(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR): Invalid argument"

    These errors may be causing a delay between key searches, as the motion on those channels is a bit choppy?

    The log for all other PV channels on 9E & 4.8E is Error-Free]


    Might MŦN's Current PV implementation here require a separate key file (or files), formatted differently

    with specific relevant SID/PIDs written into the then additional required Reader (in "oscam.conf")?

    Need alterations in "oscam.server"?

    My STB is a Zgemma H5.2S running Wooshbuild openATV 6.1, with all online updates installed.

    Last night I couldn’t get the above posted file "enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam.emu-11392_openatv_all.ipk" to open any BISS or PVU.

    The good news is, this morning I found a file with the same name "enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam.emu-11392_openatv_all.ipk" (& of a slightly diff size) that you've posted elsewhere in the forum:

    OSCam-EMU 11392 For Mips DreamOS Dreambox DM7080 - DM520 - DM525 - DM820 Various Images

    That other file puts the correct title in the Softcam Panel: "OSCam.EMU 11392"

    On initial install, no encrypted channels opened, though the Webif Live Log was indicating (correct) keys found.

    What got it working for me was making a change in DVB-Api using Webif:

    In Webif/Config/DVB-Api, I changed the setting at "API for extended CWs" from "2 - OE2.0" to "1 - OE2.2"

    (Newbies: this changes the line in the "oscam.conf" file from "extended_cw_api = 2" to "extended_cw_api = 1")

    My previously installed "OSCam.EMU 11391" only worked with it set to "2 - OE2.0" - and it took me ages to figure that out at the time (as forums were advising to have it set to 1).

    I tested & can confirm that your 11392 from the other page,

    with my previous “SoftCam.Key” file

    opens all of the following (just as 11391 did):

    10E: 11638H BI$$/AΜC Africa

    9E: 11804V & 11766V PVU/ΛFN Europe

    4.8E: 12303H PVU/ΛRQIVA [Diva/Unιversal]

    4.8E: 12322V & 12360V PVU/DISCOVERY Networks

    4.8E: 12418H: PVU/SΙS Live

    (The included SoftCam.Key file gives “rejected group”/“no matching reader” errors, in webif log on some ΛFN & DISC channels)

    Sadly atm, I can’t test (what the update was primarily designed for);

    whether it can unscramble MΤN’s PVU implementation.

    The Inclined NSS-7 at 20W doesn’t enter the path of my (80cm Fixed) dish till late evening.
