Im sure this has probsbly been asked before. i have searched but unable to find a clear answer so please forgive me for asking

Was hoping someone could please advise me as i am sort of confused.

Usually when using Oscam with CCCam i would normally connect to the dreambox via N line or newcamd line from another dreambox

If i was using mgcamd i would connect with a CWS line

The issue i am facing right now is if i am clearing pics using just oscam in dreambox 800se and dvapi how would i connect the other box.

i would be so grateful if someone could please advise me by an example

i just thought that there may be a solution to bypass pairing check in oscam. if not is there any other solution using alternative method just as dvb dream with TBS tuner card and phoenix card reader. Something similar to pvu emu plugin for either nds or irdeto2

After a lot of reading and experimenting i finally managed to get oscam and tvheadend seeing each other on ubuntu server. The only thing that puzzles me and i cannot work out is how to lock in an actuall channel so it can be used as au to send emms to the card because i am using is terminal.

Any help for a quick brief step by step would be amazing just fpr the sending emm and locking in channel for that reader

p.s. if i have to use diffrent software please advise me which one and how as i am going crazy here trying to get emms to the card.

i am running ubuntu server 16.04.3 , oscam r11319 and tvheadend 4.0.9 with a smargo and a tbs6904 tuner

not sure my friend i am in Australia so i dont have access to that satellite as far as sound goes it might just be a setting on your tv. Sounds dumb but i had a similar issue once where i had AC3 selected and the audio was mpeg2 or something like that. Of course i am no expert as you can tell.

I was hoping if someone could please steer me in the right direction.

I have oscam on a ubuntu 64 bit linux machine and have just bought a tbs 6904 tuner card.

I am having problem on how to use the tuner card as au .

In the past i used another dreambox as au and pointed it in cccam to oscam but now i would like to have everything in the one linux machine.

example on a dm800 i would simply put in an nline in cccam.cfg for the au but i am stumped on how to do in on ubuntu server as i do not have cccam in it nor do i know if its possible to put in.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi there i was wondering if its possible to have a season connected to an rs232 serial port as a reader in oscam . I am using Ubuntu server x64 and the season is in original decoder currently clearing pics on original box

I have tried the following setting with no luck or does a new oscam need to be compiled for this to work ,

The error i get is card initialization failed as it is already initialized on season in the box

Hi there,

Was wondering and hoping if someone could please advice on how to change the info under the entitlements section in oscam emu reader.

For example when i click on Readers and then Entitlements for emulator reader it already has a serial and 3 Type, Caid, Provid, ID, and class lines.

I was hoping to emulate my card in here by changing these settings.

If this is possible could somebody please lead me in the right direction

i currently have a subscription of an irdeto 2 service - 0602 - but the card is paired/married to the reciever. I know that with NDS you can get numbers from the reciever and convert them to key boxkey so oscam can at least recognize the card and initialize it but how can i do the same for irdeto 2 paired/married card .

I was hoping if it was possible for someone to please advise me on a how to guide or at least steer me in the right direction.

I am even open to other methods like emu for example using my own cards details if possible without the use of the providers receiver as i wish to use oscam and the card around my house.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Here you go my friend . I was stuck like you for a while and thanx to the guys here they helped me a lot. So i felt i could help you out by posting this image i made.

It is OpenPli 2016 i have changed bootloader and screen pictures to another pli picture and have integrated the following

Cams:-

Oscam 11391 rev 755 rev2 + configs (all you have to do is edit them to what you want and it will work)

mgcamd 1.35a

scam 3.59

cccam 2.30

Plugins

TSPanel 8.0

FlashBackup 6.2

FlashExpander 0.33

PluginSkinMover 0.6

Streampes configs (so you can log in need be as well)

Added Cardserver Support for Oscam as well

All you have to do is flash the Image , scan in your channels , ftp to your receiver and go to /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam and edit the files.

oscam.conf put you username and password for webif

oscam.server change the caid ident and emu_au providers from the zeros to your preferred ones for your services

softcam.key add in your powervu keys for the services you want and leave evrything else as is

restart enigma

press blue button to and go to softcam setup go to select cardserver and press the right arrow key so oscam comes up and go to restart cardserver option on same screen and press "OK" button

Open your browser on you computer type in your dreambox IP example 192.168.0.XXX:8888 and you should see the webif loginscreen come up

Once you do that you can edit oscam files directly if you wish through the webif.

Also just please note the Image is close to 60mb so flash is nearly full. Once image is installed DCC shows its about 57mb used up and 3mb free, so if you have an internal hdd or usb flash drive follow the small guide below and you shouldn't have any issues with additional storage :-)

With DCC connect to your receiver and go to Tools and you will see how much Storage you have on
root directory and also hdd (sda1) or usb depending on what you choose to use

Next press blue button and select System Tools
Now select from next menu the title Menu Swap File Tools
Select Create Swap File on Usb or HDD depending on what you want
Once Created select Activate Swap on your HDD or Usb

Exit

Restart Enigma or Reboot

Click on Telnet in DCC and Type in the following commands pressing the return key after each line This has been tested and confirmed to work :)

For (USB) Flash Drive

mv /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions /media/usb

mv /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages /media/usb

ln -sfn /media/usb/Extensions /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

ln -sfn /media/usb/site-packages /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages

init 3

Then you can restart enigma or just reboot your receiver

Then you can restart enigma or just reboot your receiver

Once this is done if you like reconnect with DCC to your receiver and go to Tools and you will see how much Storage you have on root directory and also hdd (sda1) or usb. You will the changes in storage

Hi there

I understand you can use plugins like flashexpander for flash but what i would like to know is if its possible for the actual usb space to be added to root so instead of 60mb you would have the actual size of usb for example 16GB or 32GB reported and used as root.

if possible could someone please give me a dummies guide step by step on how to do this

Hi hopefully this will help you. With the help from the guys here i have succefully after a lot of sleepless nights and confusion managed to get openpli 6.0 working with oscam pvu fixed .

Here is my backup image all you have to do is flash it once done enable oscam under softcams and add your configs.

Please beare in mind that you will have to connect a usb to receiver as there is only like 1mb left but i have added Flashexpander and FlashBackup for extra storage

You will also have to change the sat.xml file to your region located in /etc/tuxbox and you can make an download your own from here http://satellites-xml.eu 

Then Just ftp it to /etc/tuxbox and replace the other satellites.xml file

I am not sure if its okay to post the image here as a download so if its wrong please forgive me and feel free to delete it

yeah i am so wrapped ... i can't thank all you guys enough, yourself Inspiral , Master G , Eak Dumnern , Sun35, Georgeflu, Prophet, Paulus, and everyone else as well i hope i havn't missed out on anyone.

All i need to do now is connect via nline which i know how to do however am not sure if my configs are correct because the way i know is without dvapi and using cccam or oscam to connect fr0m other receiver via N: Line or CWS via mgcamd.

I just don't know right now because i am not using anything in softcam only oscam is set as cardreader/server and dvapi is doing the work.

If any of the guys could please check my configs which i have attached and please let me know what i have to do and hopefully it will all work out for me.

i am getting good messages now from oscam saying it has found the channel however my screen is still black. i don't know If there is any section in here not needed or needs to be added

i have got this in my log now but am using oscam as cardserver , should i also be using cccam or mgcamd as softcam so i can use nline or can i place an N line in oscam if possible because i would like to share it to other 2 boxes in the house in other rooms and if so could you please advise me on how to do that.

Is it possible to change the size of the flash and make image install on internal hardrive rather than the box itself so this way no need for flashexpanders etc .... and you can have as many plugins, skins and so as much as you like ?

ok kool so just to confirm i can access powervu channel with powervu keys (if they are current) without stream relay even with my clone dm800se . And because biss and powervu are 2 different encryptions you cannot convert a powervu key to Biss.

Is all this correct ?
