First, go to definitions, and change the DNS. Try with google DNS: 8.8.8.8.

Take note of the IP address of the box, like, 192.168.0.10

Second, in your PC, connect to the same Network LAN, go to: 192.168.0.10:8888 the default user and password is "root"

Check the readers status. See the logs.

There are 3 recovery methods on the Amiko A4, which are: 1- factory recovery; 2-soft recovery; 3-hard recovery

In my case, 1- factory recovery was not possible.

So I went to the 2nd method. This method consists of using the program "AMLogic Burn Card Maker" to write a recovery image (.img) on the memory card. After inserting the memory card in box - I press the reset button - and then I turn on the power.

Many of the links to the .img files are dead - but after many posts - I find a old img file for the Amiko A4. I share my copy here:

    https://mega.nz/file/4nBBRYzA#…D1uUcaPc7JsIu7vwrhg_5CSDE

I don't know if it was possible to convert the Zip file to an image (.img) format, but I haven't tested it

After this soft recovery, you can install the Zips updates, through the box menu. And I'm in the latest version.

Thanks for all the support! :*

Thank you nozorrog, great work !

Someone have a image .img, for Amiko A4 ?

The old links are dead... :crying:

I don't know if I can use this Zip: Firmware ver. 1.0.43,

because the Amiko A4 don't turn on... the reset clip button don't work... I think I have to do a hard reset :crying1:

is this zip just an Android build ? The scripts will build two aplications: the tvheadend and the oscam for Android.

I ask this because the image (inside the Zip) shows SAT> IP, oscam and TVheadend running on ubuntu, not in Android.

    More info in this scripts:

--> Network tuners do not require a root system. For example, if I connect a card in Ubuntu?

The DTV application is available in version 1, here: android-apk.org

    since 2017-11-27 is not updated.

I managed to export / import the CCCam lines, and the satellites.

But the channels do not know if they were exported! Because, I cannot understand the structure of this database - there should be some documentation.

Maybe there is a better application than DTV? Perhaps the problem lies in choosing this application.

For the Mecool K7, in the DTV application, I can Import/Restore The User Data.

DTV application > Menu > Installation > Select the tuner (like DVB S) > Backup User Data.

The DTV application will save in the memory card (or USB).

In the memory card, I get this folder "vsdtv_user_data" and files:

    vsdtv_user_data

------- BS.cfg // for me it was an empty file

    ------- CCCam.cf // CCcam lines

    ------- vs_dtv.db // it's a SQLite database

    ------- vs_dtv.db.bak // it's a SQLite database

Following what has been said, there is a way to import/export the channels

This is the approach that applies to other versions of Mecool

    1. Place the "dtv_user_data" folder on a USB stick (the folder contains the channel list)

    2. Open the DTV application

    3. Press menu

    4. Select Installation

    5. Select the tuner, for example, DVB S

    6. Select "Restore User Data"

I went to analyze the files in an online program.

    But these are binary files.

So, I don't know how to create or edit this files.

I wanted to find or create a list for Hispasat 30W.

One approach will be edited one by one. But it doesn't allow importing a list...

Thank you very much for this tip.

I put on a USB stick, one file called "CCcam.cfg", and with the "Import function", I was able to add the lines.

I'm going to try mecool-pro-channel-editor, to insert some channels.

I am looking for a method to send channels to Mecool. Does anyone know?

    Thanks.

Exact, some drivers are still missing.

Is there a way to configure CCCam with an apk in Mecool K7?

This is Android version 9, I still can't find...

    Mecool K7

I'm trying the Mecool K7 Box, with the default Android system.

But I don't know how to install the CCCam and TVHeadend.

I'm looking for the best approach.

If anyone wants to complete my work, it is very much appreciated.
