I have followed the tutorial exactly when trying to install no-ip to my Debian 6.3 server
I get to step 4 make and i get

    make: gcc: command not found

    make: *** [noip2] error 127

I have tried cp binaries/noip2-i686 ./noip2 as shown on no-ip support site but still cannot get past this problem

    1 $ wget http://www.no-ip.com/client/linux/noip-duc-linux.tar.gz
    2 $ tar xvf noip-duc-linux.tar.gz
    3 $ cd noip-2.1.9-1 ( latest software )
    4 $ make
    5 $ make install

any help would be much appreciated

no dont open it, copy the folder you downloaded onto a usb pen make sure its extracted if winrar file it will be called vuplus ( make sure nothing else is on stick ) then put it in front slot of solo and press the reset button on the rear of box it will go red once it turns green box is ready take out usb pen and press reset button again, box will then boot up

when it boots up it displays bootloader 72 but no sticker on bottom apart from dm800pvr-s

My m8 has just gave me a dm800 hd clone, when it boots up it says bootloader 72 and when I opened up the casing it has a plane white sim card inside being a vuo+duo person I have not
got a clue what sim version this is, or what images are available at present, it has blackhole 0.12 on at present.

how to use winscp....log in as root...then host name... put in your debian local ip ie. 192.168.1.100... then your password....make sure you use file protocol sftp..... on right hand side window at the top you will see root and <root> folder in pop down window click<root>.... you are now in main file system you then double click emu..then double click cccam....your cccam.x86 file will be in there..... now right click on it and then select properties at the bottom you will see a box called octal and probably the numbers 0644 you need to change these to 755 then ok you will be asked for the root password insert this and select ok...thats it done log out of winscp reboot and it should be working if you have start up scripts installed as in the tutorial for cccam installation with debian

The older technomates ( super series ) become multicrypt readers when patched, i can confirm this worked fine with via3 hopefully this is still the case with the new cards. I have read the solution cazuela posted & would defiantly give that a try.

yes mine updated fine via4 card just yesterday supplier had them send me signals which he said they would do for 2 days. Any jsc channel on 13e will do, did mine in card slot on technomate 1500i super series, was told diablo cam would work as well in tm 1500 but did not test, btw put in smargo in debian server and recieved some emms today on cccam 2.13 also read on other forums that scam 3.59 works a treat on vuo duo's but again did not test. hope this is of some help

you can get a remote desktop program called nx machine...which is a remote access virtual desktop
you have to download the windows version to your pc ( laptop )
and download the debian version to your server
go anywhere in the world with say your laptop or pc and log in to your server
you actually see your server desktop on your windows pc ( laptop )
when i go on my holidays i take my laptop with me so i can keep an eye on things back home
