who else from this forum has managed to manually remove the oscam-emu completely (on openpli)? or even better would have the following ipk: enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu (git1825+c46c72d-r0.0)

Probably best to then do it manually then mate, if you installed it with an ipk, use 7zip to extract the ipk several times from ipk to .tar to normal file type to see the file structure and where the files have been installed on your box, then go and delete them, then reboot box.

i suspect this would be under /etc/tuxbox/config and delete the oscam-emu folder.

re: locked oscam, this is a paid service for a private server that does not appear in the list of installed packages . i cannot add c-lines to it or use the softcam.key, hence i need the oscam emu.

i was previously able to use oscam-emu and oscam - using the autocam set up plug- and this is sth i want to reachieve.

the --force--remove does not seem to work either - it does not even recognised the cmd. this is really odd.

Hi folks,

i'm running OpenPLi 7,2 and when i try to run this cmd in telnet to remove the previously installed oscam-emu, i get this:

would you have any ideas on how to resolve this? i'm not sure what this means (bearing in mind that i'm running a locked oscam in parallele but i never had this in the past).

Just realized that i omitted to mention an important piece of info - in the past, i was able to open the AFN channels - so that makes me wonder why the rest of the powervu channels dont open (and they never did)

i really don't get why those channels don't open.

Oscam-emu is correctly installed as I use the autocamsetup plug to switch from oscam to oscam-emu.

The oscam is locked and comes from a script provider.

I'll send a log extract when I get home.

I'll stick to openpli for now.

I need your help to understand why none of the powervu channels are working - no sound/image (despite the fact that powervu keys are up to date - i use the updated softcam.key by INFORMED®)

I'm on openpli 7.2 with the latest oscam-emu.

All BISS channels are ok though.

looking at various config linked to similar issues, i can't seen what can be done -

i'm mostly testing the SIS channels on 4.8E.

Actually, found it myself.

For those interested, the file (autocam.conf) is ususally stored on the root of /etc

I had to reflash my box yesterday and successfully imported all settings except for the autocamsetup plug in (I lost all config set up)

Would anyone of you be able to tell me when the xml file is usually located?

I expected it would have been in the plug-in install directory but it does not seem to be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks but it does not seem to be compatible for openpli 6.2 as once (supposedly) installed it does not appear in the settings nor in the install plugin lists.

I also tried the latest mips (enigma2-softcams-oscam-all-images_11.505-emu-r791-arm+mips_all.ipk) but with same result.

The current oscam emu served with the image does not open sound/vision despite the fact that the emu /keys is correctly recognised (as per previous comment
#540) - current installed version is enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu (git1642+4d47f69-r0.0)

somehow i removed the old oscam emu, rebooted the box update the package lists, and installed enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu (git1642+4d47f69-r0.0) from the image plugin list, cleaned the old keys from the softcam.key, ran a key update and it worked as a treat!
