    ****please Note****
    After 24 hours i turned off my ZGemma and it would not boot back up, exact same problem what i started with,, now i wired it back up to the development board and flashed the previous bootloader (lower version) it now boots up really fast and is performing like it should. ive been powering it off all day (by the socket) leaving it to cool and powering it back on. so far its good.
    im putting this update on just incase anyone else has the same issue that i had/having.

    here i have some more clearer pictures of the setup, i have got some breadboard cables from eBay but i got M-F instead of F-F so ive had to improvise and solder the male ends to the underside of the PCB (can see it making any differnce myself as the wires are still connected onto pin 1 pin2 etc,, ive just uninstalled EVERYTHING out of the laptop and starting fresh installing .net3.5 then windows update and finally .net4.0 after thats complete i will then install Bs3 and driver. see if theres any change. please have a look at the pics and see if you can spot anything ive missed. thx in advance

    ****UPDATE****
    thanks for your help everybody, after formatting my Laptop, re-installing XP then installing .net3.5 following XP updates and finally .net4.0 i managed to get it working.. the boards with 2 jumpers REMOVE JP1 and Reset board just before flash,, i used VCC but also the power was on on the Logic board. alot of fiddling about but ive learned alot doing this and personally yh i think jTagging xbox 360 is alot easier lol. thanks again everyone

    You have to make the file or download the config. Enter the disired info then ftp it across to var/etc or var/keys

    Ive checked all wiring then checked again.. i tryed with vcc on and off rotating the jumpers while doing so. I have installed .net4.0 but not 3.5 first..... ill uninstall 4.0 then install 3.5 with 4.0 overwriting see if i have any luck

    ive tryed alsorts,, icannot get broadband studio to show logic in devices, checked drivers, wireing.. any idears

    please can anyone see anything wrong with this setup,, ive checked drivers,, checked wiring.. they are 2 jumpers on my logic board,, tryed with both off and one of each off. just not sure what else to try,, BS just wont show devices

    i never got chance to try the commands above, it happend after a 2nd time flashing the bootloader,, im getting nothing now, no flashing kingstone, no display,, no life only RED LED. ive orderd jTag board but i dont have a "true" RS232 interface,, i do have a com 2 USB and a old laptop with windows xp installed, using them both together has flashed every box ive come across yet.

    looking at buying Logic Analyzer EEPROM CY7C68013A-56 EZ-USB FX2LP USB2.0 Development Board Module
    but not too sure about setting it up,, well if i can jTag a xbox this shouldnt be too hard lol

    yes i no,, ive flashed bootloader first (from link above,, LED flashes for about 5-7 secs ) then reformatted kingstone (fat32) and put on openatv original image,, the box will flash. (the LED flashes on kingstone for about 5-10 mins) ,,,, up on reboot , same. ive tryed every single image type from www.zgemma.tv with the same results.

    still nothing after flashing bootloader (from the link above) tryed low level formatting sandisk and kingstone sticks,, both of which are giving me the same result, i have full acsess to the box via ssh and files via network on Pc (FTP dont work) just wont boot Gui

    i have a ZGemma s2 stuck on boot, i can get into the box via Network on Pc and able to ssh but it will only flash with a Kingstone 1gb stick,
    i have log from dmesg




    ive tryed alsorts, and googled allsorts, im pretty clued up with linux and ssh commands, just wondering if anyone new a way of sorting it via ssh as flashing it not working,, all images have been originals aswell.

    Yes all channels are on 28.2e and yes i have both H and V, all i want is to split 2 single feeds into 4.... (2 dual tuner receivers) ive used up all my outputs on my LNB due to 2 bedrooms. I think it might just be alot less hassle to throw up another dish than mess about with splitters.

    im trying to achieve the first loop through diagram except 2 dual tuner receivers not 4 receivers. just seems very unlikely they would be produced and sold if they don't do the job. the Guy at Maplins said it would deffo work when i explained what i wanted to achieve

    it wont even work for 1 tunar, the setup i have 2 tv`s 2 recievers and 2 feeds from dish,, the other setup is my office just at side of living room, if i split the 2 feeds with 2 splitters and run 1 from each splitter to a reciever.. would that work?
