hi can anyone help please regarding the install of epg import I have ftp to my box (gigablue 800 se) and its showing in the ect folder but not in the plug ins list on my box, my image is open ld 2.9 does it need to be in a different folder for it to show in the list. thanks for any help.

hi all, looking for a bit of advice on which box to get, I still have my motorised dish and have access to all europe channels also have access to iptv channels so looking for a dual pupose box possibly favouring being stronger towards iptv I have a old gigablue 800se but its getting tired or its capabilites are limited any advice would be great . thanks

hi, I have just tried to update my channel list with dreambox edit but can't connect to my box 800 se + seems the password has changed so tried to connect via DCC same problem has anyone else come across this and is there a way to correct it with out reflashing, thanks for any replys

hi, just aquired one of these boxes of a friend of mine who has not used it for 4 years, Ive had e2 boxes for years gigablue at the moment and can set these up in my sleep but the az is slightly different Ive downloaded the latest firmware open esi is there a tutorial for this image and will I have to update the kernal as well dont know what image is on yet as I have not plugged it in yet. cheers for any info might save me bricking it

thanks for your time, success at last all I had to do to complete the process was reboot the box & hey presto softcams were at the bottom of the list all set up & working now just got to get all my plugins back on I'll be glad when the vix image comes out though, once again thanks to you all for your help

hi, Iam still struggling I have uploaded camd4me ipkg file to the temp folder as you described through the ipkg packages tool then gone to plugins/download but still no cams to install have I done something wrong . thanks

hi, I'am now trying to install cccam on se plus I have read the post about installing it but I cant find the temp folder on my box with dcc I have just put the up to date openmips image on & now struggling a little. thanks

thank you very much having problems at the moment tuner b won't work & unable to change password, can't use dcc to alter anything channel list/plugins ect/ so go going to put a new image on, thanks again

hello, just reading the thread & i've got the same problem how do you load the boot loader ? is it from a usb stick the same as a image.

hi, this might be the stupidest question this year so here goes I've just come across a internal hard drive out of a sly box could it be adapted to use with my gigablue 800 se+, thanks for any replys
