I haven't tried it out like that, sorry - wouldn't know... I have 2 sat tuners and 1 terrestrial and all is well, as I set it up...
You do have the "preferred tuner" somewhere in Setup Settings, yeah - but not sure if applicable here...
Have you made your Favs and are you absolutely sure which channels you are selecting?
I can't remember - done a search online and this forum re. your problem? Try it...

If I'm not mistaken Taykun is close to where I'm from, far from being English speaking natively and so you are right re. the language issue and we need to cut him some slack there...
Be that as it may, the subsequent post deffo was rude and arrogant to the bone, so it may well be the attitude, more than anything else...
The fact remains that we don't do this for money and we owe no one anything - except ourselves to do it the best we can!
Moreover, I explained we do not have those boxes, yet we help out both that silly company and our users.Speaking for myself only, I would stop the support of Vu products - but our users would suffer, so...
Anyway, we'll see how it goes from here... ;)
-
Well, when you put it like that...:whatthefuck: OK, we're all shaking in our boots now....

Sorry, couldn't help it, each time somebody tries to patronise me, to high-brow-beat-me...
It's a serious failing of mine but I promise I will try to rectify this, I'll be a good boy.....

He is a "Taykun", m8... Nomen est omen... :)

6.3 is not supported any more. Plus, we do not have those boxes, so most of it is done in blind mode....
Try 6.5, please.

OK, from tromo/delfi:
"In a few hours all the images from 18-19-20/6/2020 will be updated with fixed wifi stuff.
Once the feed are updated, one can avoid reflash via telnet:
root@osmio4k:~# opkg remove --force-depends python-wifi
Removing python-wifi (0.8.0) from root...
root@osmio4k:~# opkg install python-wifi
Installing python-wifi (0.6.1) on root.
Downloading http://pur-e2.....ipk.
Configuring python-wifi.
Sorry to all on the all the trouble! Sometimes we screw things" :)

So, when you said "I installed the image Pure2 6.3 partition2" you mean that you installed PurE2 v. 6.3 which only has 2 partitions? OK but...
Why does it have to be anything with 2 partitions? You can install 6.5 on 1st partition and whatever else you want on 2nd partition.
Install 6.5 and tell us if the problem persists, please...
In H7, which WiFi HW are you using?
In SF8008 WiFi module is built-in?

Edited the top post considerably - read it carefully, please....

I don't know if you understand... But I have further questions... ;)
How do you set up your internet and when - wizard or later in System > Network?
I go to Plugins to configure Estuary, VPN Manager, YouTube, to download more plugins...
I have no idea how you do what you do, then - even though I know parts of this can be done via pManager, of course...
-
I'm sorry? Your question seems a bit.... confused...
Can you elaborate much more precisely?
-
Reinstall, please... Sometimes flash goes wrong...
Did you install anything else that is in some kind of connection with it, like VPN Manager etc.?
-
Simple USB stick flashing should sort it out, fingers crossed....
Single image simple flashing procedure for COMBO/TWIN
If you are happy with the partitioning etc. and you simply want to quickly flash an image on one of the 4 partitions available to you. One does not need to delete a previously installed image on that partition first.
1) Power off your Combo/Twin at the back, using the white power button.
2) Download and send an unzipped, new Combo/Twin image from your PC to a compatible USB stick.
3) Put the USB stick (with the new image to flash) in either of the 2 Combo/Twin USB slots.
4) Press the white power button at the back and immediately press the OK button on your remote control unit and hold it, until you see "rCUY" on the LED.
5) You will see the Recovery menu > choose what you want to do...
=> "Bootmenu"
=> Flash local image
=> choose USB stick where the image is
=> choose the zipped h9combo.zip"
=> choose the partition to flash it to (Linux 1 - 4 are for Enigma2 images)
=> you will see "Flashing"... wait a bit...
"Flashing completed"...
6) You will now see the main recovery/boot menu again > simply choose which partition you want to boot into...

My "sarcastic" tone is not "sarcastic" and it is not a "tone" - it's experience of tens and tens of thousands of messages where people want help but they do not give even the minimal details! MINIMAL FACTS!!!! And I have to deal with it.... somehow... So, I write a STICKY asking users to include ALL THE RELEVANT DETAILS, including - where possible - LOGS but... oh, no....
So, can you be more, much more detailed, so we can see exactly what you are doing and then see if there may be a solution...?

Posts 49 and 51 for workarounds...
Which workaround is needed (IF it actually really works as proper blindscan, as described by tromo, which is doubtful) because the HW (tuner) supplier did not supply the correct drivers to Zgemma and other STB manufacturers...Good luck, either way...
==============================================================================================
The fact remains, that all you guys who actually need it, MUST BAND TOGETHER AND WRITE TO ZGEMMA and OTHER COMPANIES AFFECTED, in order TO PUT PRESSURE ON TUNER MANUFACTURERS TO WRITE THE PROPER BLOODY DRIVERS!!!!
I did my part in making Zgemma aware of this problem - even though I am not affected!!! - NOW, IT'S YOUR TURN TO DO WHAT YOU MUST DO!!!!
If you do nothing - please, don't cry around all the forums... It's rather unbecoming!!! -
Again, you need to read what tromo said...
"The problems are not BRCM related, but Front End/Tuner HW and SW , which are from another company."
But OK...
-
If only you heard of and understood the word "fair", plus could hold a few pieces of information together in your head for long enough to make the right connections...
I said tromo spoke about it in more technical terms.
This is the "organic" solution, which you have not proposed. I did. Actually, tromo did. That is the whole point of this - drivers should be written by the HW manufacturers and developers of the company which bought it from them. Not E2 teams!
You could have searched for it. But no, you would rather wait for me to put it on a silver platter... and then you chose to misrepresent it...
But don't worry, with this attitude I shall do no such silly thing ever again!
P.S. Indeed, how can you not possibly see the obvious here?!?
