This is post by ruspi who is a friend of mine. He posted it here: POHVALA KOMPANIJI AIRDIGITAL- ZGEMMA! but in Serbo-Croat. This is a quick online translation, with minor editing done by me, since he speaks no English...

"I would like to thank ZGEMMA for the incredible kindness and understanding. I am very pleasantly surprised. What is it about? The story goes like this...

I once recommended to my friend to buy a Zgemma H7. The order went through my son who lives in Germany and it was ordered on EBAY, given that my friend lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When it arrived, we set up everything it needed and my friend was delighted. After about a month some problems started to appear. It would simply freeze and not respond to the remote. Of course, the only solution was to disconnect it from the power. However, after the restart, the receiver did not boot at all. We had to wait for 5-10 minutes for it to work and then it worked for a short time and then again - the same problem. We tried a couple of things that they advised us, but none of it worked. Of course it was under warranty but in its long and complicated journey 'till it reached my friend - the receipt disappeared (because my son threw it away :) ).

Anyway, I decided to at least try to follow this up with Zgemma's customer service, so I contacted one of my friends whom most of you know well and I explained to him what the matter is and the whole situation. He told me that he was cooperating with them and that he would explain everything to them as I told him and that he would let me know. Honestly, I thought there will be none of those happy endings we see in movies...

However, after a few days he called me and said that he talked to the owner of the company and that she said without any hesitation that she would send a new H7s - without me returning this broken one - and all at their expense!

Again, I was thinking there will be none of that, but I thought I should try, seeing as I have nothing to lose.

At that time the COVID19 pandemic started, so I didn't even think about it any more. I already forgot about it and - I don't know, let's say it's been about a month since that conversation - my son calls and tells me that "despite the pandemic was in full swing, the box arrived yesterday"!

The new, fully working Zgemma H7S was handed over to my friend a couple of days ago and I should immediately point out that it works like a Swiss watch with PurE2 6.5. i still warmly recommend this box because as we know nothing is perfect, errors can happen - but it is crucial that the manufacturer is open minded and highly responsible and agreed to solve the problem by replacing the device.

So, I can only say this: all credit for this superb handling of the unfortunate HW problem goes to Air Digital Zgemma company. I wish them a lot of continued success in the business...

P.S. I will also tell you the name of a friend without whom I would not have succeeded because my knowledge of English is very poor: this is our esteemed colleague gorski - so I thank him, too.

It's really well supported, from strong HW to kernel, drivers and onwards...

It's this combination of elements that makes it so strong - but for very little money! This is a very capable box HW-wise! It can do everything we need it to do! Kodi included! And Kodi is HW demanding...

There are other boxes which have, perhaps, more RAM or maybe a stronger processor in some ways, for instance, but they usually cost a lot more and can't do more than H7 because of the seriously well written kernel, drivers and so on! In fact, with the same tuner, for instance, STBs from some major firms do not function as well as they do in Zgemma H7 and that tells a tale!

Sat TV (DVB-S/S2X) and Terrestrial TV (DVB-T2) - which I have tested to exhaustion - are flawless! Cable TV I do not have, sorry... But others have reported working really well, including 2 different providers in the same box with an additional plugin!

IPTV/streaming is superb, excellent Stalker plugin with Ministra support!

Playback from mounted/shared folders (on home network or from directly attached SATA and USB devices) is highly capable and almost all codecs and containers work really well!

It's the best box I ever had or seen functioning!

    You'll see soon enough... ;)

FWIW, my advice would be "do it all from scratch":

    1) Use recovery file to eliminate everything from your flash and install PurE2 v. 6.3 in the first partition: http://www.pur-e2.club/OU/imag…mutant/Mutant51-Recovery/ - put it in your USB stick and flash it normally...

This is the tutorial for that (apparently, Zgemma H7 and Mut@nt51 are the same, OEM machines from the same developer team): How to reflash a Zgemma H7x by Satboxer

    2) It's easy to install more images, just follow this tutorial of mine: H7S MultiBoot "How To" - installing multiple images in H7S's internal flash -

Install PurE2 6.5 in the second partition, as it is experimental but fun: http://www.pur-e2.club/OU/images/index.php?dir=6.5/mutant/ - FNC plugins are better supported, thanx to newest SSL etc. You can even easily install it straight from the net (ONLINE installation) from within PurE2 v. 6.3.

"How to help" for PurE2 is here, just read the stickies: PurE2 Team Images

OSCam Emu Cache is best and all the help is here: OSCam Emu Config Mario for all PV providers

Then, install another 2 images in partitions 3 and 4 and relax... ;)

DJ, you should know by now that I covered all important aspects of flashing and setting up of all essential parts of PurE2.

    0) Only a little bit of reading in this section answers these simple questions:

H7S MultiBoot "How To" - Discussion thread

    - everything here is described in my manner, every step explained, backed up with screenshots,

    - so most people can do it with my tutorials...

    1) You can see how to flash a RECOVERY file, which will repartition your flash in a normal, 4 partitions manner:

    http://www.pur-e2.club/OU/imag…=6.5/airdigital/RECOVERY/

    - we still do not have v. 6.5 for only 2 partitions but that is not important,

    - once you have 2 partitions you can install whatever you want in any of the partitions, of course, so

-you do not need to do that now, just flash another image in another partition.

    2) How? Well, as I said, since

-you already flashed a normal PurE2 image in your Zgemma H7 multiboot system's first partition, you can

-now install another one to the second partition, of any kind, from a USB stick (or HDD/SSD or mSD, it matters not),

-as carefully described in detail by me here:

    http://www.pur-e2.club/OU/imag…x.php?dir=6.5/airdigital/

    Good luck, m8! ;)

P.S. Look, if you still feel uncomfortable with all this - perhaps you could ask a friend to do it for you once, so you get to see it? Maybe then it will "sit" for you, if written word is a problem?

Sometimes, as I understand it, people are borne with difficulties reading/perceiving written stuff but if they see it done then it's OK. I know, as I have a son with special educational needs. Don't get me wrong, he is in the top 9% of Humanity when it comes to IQ and general capabilities but he has problems with language. Not his fault, he was borne like that.

So, one of the reasons why I liberally lace my tutorials with images is because it may help a number of people and being a teacher by profession I am aware of these issues, ergo try it and if it doesn't work - some friend of yours should jump in and take you through the process once, so you can see it done... :)

P.P.S. I have edited the top message with additional information... ;)

There is no such thing as PurE2 6.4. And I don't do backups, sorry.

You can do it all from scratch, if you want a "normal" 4 partitions RECOVERY file, v. 6.5, which is here: http://www.pur-e2.club/OU/imag…=6.5/airdigital/RECOVERY/

Then, follow my tutorials how to install other images in various partitions, just read the relevant Sticky in this section...

General help is in PurE2 section, as you know...

Specific help to get CS and Emulator running is in OSCam EMU section, of course...

Find my thread "Mario's cofig for PV". All is there! Sit down and do it as you read and it will be OK.

Here: OSCam Emu Config Mario for all PV providers

    Good luck!

Try and tell... as there are various formats.... who knows what you are getting in those IPTV channels....

As you know, you have 3 options in ServiceApp....

    Good luck!

P.S. I couldn't record IPTV from ciefp's list, sadly... exteplayer3 or original (gstreamer)
