Come ooon. The Official versions does not work well and does not works with oscam.
At least that happen on CoreEELEC 9.2.

I can only say that the docker services linuxserver/oscam and chris230291/oscam-emu have always worked very well and updates work very well as well. I use this on the main LE x86_64 9.2.6 server (or any Linux Desktop) and on a secondary CE S912 9.2.8 server. A few days ago the TV providers have made changes and I have had to adjust the response times of the ECMs.

This issue is for my local card. I had to move 'my server' from a tp-link device (where everything ran flawlessly) to my odroid-c2 (where on some channels ECM if way too high for a local card).

Despite what you say, I can't understand. Normally I get response in 500ms and my OSCam is set to switch to fallback reader if it does not get response in 2000ms, and 4000ms to give up and return timeout.

Do you want to tell me that you are not able to get a response from your local card in 2000 or 3000 or 4000ms? Check your OSCam configuration and your hardware.

t works, but for some reason ECM times on some channels are way too high. I've read various threads and solution seems to be going back to version 11684. Can you compile this (oscam 11684) with cak7 implementation?

Forget nonsense, if your cccam provider is good then your oscam settings are bad, and if your cccam provider is bad then change your cccam provider (for years my favorites are 1.e.g.y.g.o.l.d and 2.s.a.t.x).

    Hello

I tried to test TVH as an IPTV client using the IPTV Automatic Network option (mux). After this TVH Web interface does not load and I can no longer watch any channel (does not connect with TVH HTSP client). How can I fix this problem in the simplest way?

The picture settings are awful and will never work due to a major misconception. Start you to think from the beginning again.

I have only tried to give a review of the different oscam installation alternatives. It is normal that if you use AlexELEC your oscam r11691 service is already very up to date and you should not worry or do anything. I use a LibreELEC x86_64 server and I always prefer to use docker services because they can be implemented in other operating systems (for example Linux Desktop and even Windows) without making any changes, my docker linuxserver oscam is now in version r11693. To use entware oscam you will need to find information about how to install entware, the command for CoreELEC is "installentware" and then to install oscam the command is "opkg install oscam", I think that with AlexELEC it will be very similar. In LibreELEC it is not possible to install entware but I am not worried because I use docker for everything (oscam, pihole, acestream, transmission, syncthing, zerotier, wireguard, homeassistant, syslog, firefox, ...).

Do you know how I have to update oscam in Alexelec?

I don't use AlexELEC but I think there are several alternatives to updating oscam: (1) updating AE, (2) using an addon like the ones published here, (3) installing/updating the oscam service within the entware repository, and (4) install/update oscam service inside docker linuxserver repository.

The alternative that is updated most frequently is (4) and it is the one I use. The alternatives (2), (3) and (4) require the previous disabling of the oscam service of the AE system, this can be done for example via the AE menu or by disabling the oscam service through the systemctl command inside /storage/.config/autostart .sh, there may also be other alternatives.

Does anyone use satip on mecool kiii pro?

Do you have any idea if it works?

I have a small VPN network of CoreELEC/LibreELEC devices in which one of them acts as a TV server, multimedia content server and storage server. One of the remote devices is a Mecool KIII Pro and acts as a secondary SAT>IP server that sends DVB-T channels from another region to the tvheadend server installed on the main server located in a different city, that is, Mecool KIII Pro acts as a remote tuner. Mecool KIII Pro is also connected to a surveillance camera via rtsp ethernet and saves the alarms and continuous recordings on the main server (I also receive the alarms on my smartphone). And finally, Mecool KIII Pro is a normal client that connects to the main server to receive all TV channels and multimedia content.

The 'satip' service that I use is very simple, you just have to enable the Minisatip addon on the secondary server. To capture the TV channels on the main server I just add "--satip_xml http://<secondary-server-ip-on-vpn-network>:9999/desc.xml" to the execution command of tvheadend in the main server. A new satip tuner appears on tvheadend server without problems.

For two years I have been using the oscam service with CE / LE. Now instead of installing the oscam addon or the oscam service included in entware, I switched to docker(*). My question is: what advantages would the installation of oscam-emu give me instead of oscam.

Note.- The advantage of using docker is that it can be used with the same syntax in CE, LE, Linux and even Windows. For those who want to test the oscam docker installation (now version r11681), the command to use in SSH is:

    docker create \

    --name=oscam \

    -e PUID=0 \

    -e PGID=0 \

    -e TZ=Europe/Amsterdam \

    --net=host \

    -v /storage/oscam:/config \

    --restart unless-stopped \

    linuxserver/oscam

(the configuration files are in /storage/oscam within CE/LE, I no longer remember if the oscam service starts by itself after its installation, in case it is not, write: docker start oscam; remember that docker is an administration service of virtual environments and that within oscam the /config directory is equivalent to /storage/oscam in CE/LE)

To ensure that the Diseqc signals are transmitted correctly to the switch and to the LNBs, check all coaxial cable connectors.

thanks for the link, but how do you get a channel list for tvheadend that I can insert into the folder.

    trotzdem danke

The most convenient way to load TV channels into tvheadend server is to select a mux from the provider that is of interest to us (with the information seen in kingofsat) and let tvheadend server find more muxes from the same provider, so the reception parameters will always be good ones.

The loading of direct channels from another user has the disadvantage that it may not fit our preferences. For example, if I send you my channel list, you will not like it because I do not have any German television channels.
