Yes - it seems to work for the M3U playlists, but no idea about the EPG url.
Cannot figure out why the channels.xml file is not being built when the boquets are generated.

STB: zgemma h9s engima2 w/openatv 6.4 & slyk-onyx
Jedi Maker Xtream makes the boquets without issues, and I specify 'Use your provider EPG - yes' and insert the EPG url (which is a shortened URL).
This results in the following files:
root@zgemmah9s:/etc/epgimport# ls -l
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 34 Mar 31 16:53 jmx.jar.channels.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 281 Mar 31 16:53 jmx.jar.sources.xml
As you can see from the filesize the channels.xml file is empty. Does the plugin not support redirects? If not, any way to configure the EPG URL via CLI/telnet?
appreciate the detailed response. In suls I had the 'attempt Epg import' checked, but I've just set the times to be manual (1am suls, 2am epg-import), just incase it wasn't happening.
do you believe that the jedi maker plugin wouldn't be susceptible to this?
Whatup KiddaC - I'm running OpenATV 6.2 w/the Slyk on a Zgemma H9S.
Every so often my EPG gets out of sync, as described here:
EPG Offset on Enigma2/OpenATV Zgemma Receiver
One of my other IPtv friends thought it could possible be a skin. Please let me know if you have any ideas/feedback etc.
yes, every 24 hours at 1am
I'm using suls plugin for Boquet creation and EPG-Importer. Everything works great after creating the fresh boquets w/the EPG data.
After a few days/weeks, the EPG gets out of alignment and looks something like this:
Channel 1 - EPG Data for Channel 2
Channel 2 - EPG Data for Channel 3
Channel 3 - EPG Data for Channel 4
etc.
Sometimes the offset is by a few channels.
I reset boquets, reimport EPG - and the problem is gone for awhile.
Anyone else experience this or have an idea?
Is there a setting in the graphical EPG to remove the boquet tabs at the top, showing which one I'm currently in etc.
Thanks!

Somewhat related question - how does your script work under the hood? How does it determine if the stream has catchup content?
Yeah, I know - sorry. I was only focusing on the URL portion.
Doesn't seem to work with just pointing it to a direct .m3u file.
Any format should work, just needs encoding, e.g., http%3A%2F%2Fwww.site.com%2Ffilename.m3u.
Ive tried it twice so far with no cigar, both times with encoded URLs. This format worked without issue:
http://HOST:PORT/get.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus.
For the frenchs plugin, it doesn't seem to work if I specify an encoded M3U file in this format: http://www.site.com/filename.m3u
Only this format seems to work: http://HOST:PORT/get.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus.
I have my own custom m3u file I like to use and not pull from the provider feed directly.
Display MoreI got the Heinz plugin to work, but I cannot figure out how to get the catchup capable channels to be marked in the EPG.
Is this skin dependent or is there another script for this? Any help would be appreciated - Thank you!
You need to run the M3U through the Frenchs plugin. In the M3U URL for Suls or Jedi, you provide a localurl that proxies the request via Frenchs, Frenchs downloads the M3U from the real location (which you provide via URL parameter to Frenchs), and marks the catchup enabled channels on the M3U itself.
Thanks man - one more noob question...
I have a zGemma i55Plus - I have e2m3u script running and it's supposed to update every 6 hours. If I shut the box off (Places it in Standby) I notice the EPG does not update. Is this the expected behavior and just enable EPG refresh upon power-on or do I have something not setup right?

Looks like EpgSelection.py took care of this :)
Perhaps outside the scope of skin support, I'm having trouble finding how to edit the keymap [/usr/share/enigma2/keymap.xml] so that when I click channel up/down on the remote (Page up/down also on the remote) to have it page up/down in the main EPG. It appears the default is to move forward or backward in the guide by 24 hours.
Do you know how I can adjust this? Thank you!
How do I get the time in the guide etc., to show the 12 hour format vs the default 24?
