So today I encountered my first 00h C8. Up till now I've only needed the two FFh and B8hx030000h tables. I didn't know it was a 00h C8 until someone pointed it out to me. How can you tell if a C8 is 00h?

    PID: 1E3h B8h-Crypt8:7A DD 61 A1 5F 2F DD F8 [E] Count:17431

Yes, I've a tuner which has worked many times in the past and records the streams correctly. It's only some of the streams which give issues...

As I've been learning how to find C8's, I've found that some feeds just don't have any key data. Not sure why. It's an interesting process... but fun! The thrill of the chase..

In a similar situation, have 8 gb file from 138e, with no crypt8 found. These Chinese boxes are able to find the key easily! something different with the way we find the crypt8 using the script?

rush1 would you be able to have a look if I upload the file somewhere?

Some of the GTMedia receivers won't output a usable TS file. The GTX Combo doesn't. The V9 prime DOES. Use a receiver like the Edision OS Mini 4K or a PC tuner card to get a usable TS file for finding C8's.

Very bizarre that the tool found a totally different key when you tried it!

PS- your key didn't work either :(

There must be something weird about that feed.

Scanned a feed earlier and got a good C8 (see below). Ran the C8 through the CSA tool and it gave me a key of BA1123EE3412BB01. However, this key didn't unlock the feed. Does that ever happen??

So none of those C8's are good?

Here's a sample of one I don't know what to do with. Any suggestions?

When a feed has a low number of C8's, or they're all the same number, which one do you use? For example:

Each of those files is about 4.38GB, when expanded they are 162GB. When you take 162GB x 25 files, that's a lot more than 1.25TB. Is the Rainbow Table Tool expecting a combined ZIP file or a bunch of unzipped files?

Sorry for all the "dumb" questions, it's just confusing to me how these 25 individual ZIP files are supposed to be used.

If you're using version V1 of the program, then yes. Once you find C8, paste it in and select the directory containing the table. If you're using version V2, extract the tables from the ZIP archive. This video will be more helpful in using version V2

My version is Version 1.03 (Jan, 10th 2012)

I'm still a bit confused. I know how to get C8's now. I also have the CSA Rainbow Table Tool. I just need to download the FF zip files, combine them, then run the C8 through the table file and it should generate a CW, correct?
