:thumbup::thumbup:Thanks KiddacC for your suggestion. What i did was that I used Putty to put Xtream Tv plugin into the box, then I got the details( Mac address) whoich I sent out and was on. I never did anything like that before so I am surprised that it works. I thank you all on the forum for your advice and help.

I have successfully flashed my dm 800hd se with an Openvision 10.2 image. Now I want to put IPTV on the box but I do not know how to go about it. I have read up about plugins but it is all confusing and I do not know which one to use and how to go about it. Please sombody explain to me the steps to take and all I have to do to have IPTV on the box.

Phew. I am happy to say that I finally was able to put an open pli image on the box.

I cannot say exactly what the problem was but I used the Optiflasher and after I flashed the second stage
loader Sim2_800se_ SSL84D then I got the openpli image there and flashed it on the box. It said "Invalid Image" "Dreambox successfully flashed" Then I flashed it again with the Sim2_800se_ SSL84D. Voila!
I belive that what I was doing wrong was that I did not flash the box the second time again with the Sim2_800se_ SSL84D after flashing the image. Thanks also to teak-won-do for your input.

Back again. Now as georgeflu advised I flashed the second stage loader with the dreambox optiflasher and it says
"dreambox flashed successfully" Now what is the next step to put an image in the box? I did not reboot the box yet.

Please how can I upgrade the second stage to ssl84d like you suggested. I cannot find any ssl 84b images. It seems that most images are ss84d

It says Boot #84B. I do not know if the image I am trying to load is #84B because I do not know if it is or how to get a matching image. It says second stage OK! Then when I put image it says Invsli Image!
dreambox flashed successfully. The yellow bar on the box loads till halfway and stops.

The box is a sim 2 clone, When flashing with Optiflash it says second stage Ok, Then it says put I address from the box which I did. Then it say select image which I do then it continues to falsh. At the end it says:
Invalid Image !
Dreambox flashed successfully !

I have been trying to flash my dm 800hd se box for a long time with no joy. On turning the box on it says boot no. 84B. I am using the Optiflasher and it says " invalid image. dreambox flashed successfully" each time I try an image. I have tried different open pli images. I do not know what I am doing wrong at this time. Please help somebody.

i think you must have 1 of the old firmwares
upgrade that to a later version and should work
youporn doesnt work just freezes so i wouldnt even try to get that to work

Hi guys. Please can someone point ime to the right direction here. I have a new ***box F3 and everything is installed and working fine. The problem is that when I try to play Youtube in Network Apps, it says "loading please wait" and then I wait for days and nothing happens just loading. Please help some one and poit me to a good software to use. Thanks all.

Does anybody know how to flash a new image into the INET500s linux box. I just got hold of one and the specs say that it is just like Dreambox500s. but they use DvbUp as a flash software which is different from dm500s flashing. Any Ideas or tutorials guys will be appreciated.

Sorry guys took a while getting back on. I used the dreambox edit and uploaded the channel settings list to the dreambox but i observed that only the scanned channel list worked. The signal still shows Snr 63%, Agc 93%, Ber 0% or sometimes Snr. 64%, Agc 93%, Ber 886% in order words no joy. this is a fairly new box and so I want to really be sure that it is no good before chucking it away

I have just scanned my dm 500s on 28.2e and I just get 25 services scanned and sometimes nothing. The signals read Snr 65%, Agc 93%, Ber 0%. It just get a few channels scanned thats all and I do not get all the channels. I am using the Open pli beta image. Any help, ideas or suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks

Within the router? No I have not given the Dm500s a static ip address within the router because I do not know about giving a Dm500s box a static address within the router. I only know about portforwarding within the router. or are they the same thing?

Hi guys.
I have just set up this dreambox 500s system and all is working well I can open all channels. But anytime I turn up my laptop which is connected to my router wirelessly, the picture on my tv freezes or pauses. I do not know what is causing this. I have racked my brains but I came up with no answer. I suspect my network set up but I am not sure how to tackle this. So guys I would appreciate any solutions to solving this problems. Thanks

I had just got a dreambox dm 500s as a second box which worked fine with all the freeview channels. But recently I turned it on and all I saw was the Nabilostat image show on the screen for a few seconds and then the screen goes black for a couple of seconds, then the Nabilostat image will show on the screen again then goes black. This goes on and off untill I switch off the box manually. Any idea what could be the reason why this is so. I want to be sure about the box before I chuck it away -
Sorrry richard_t I was out of town for a while so couldn't finish the task then. Thanks for your tips and suggestions I was able to install another CCcam(2.2.1) into the box through yellow button on the remote. I restarted CCcam and then used the DCC to ftp cccam.cfg and it was there. I could get to the cccam.cfg file now which I could not see before. I think that the main reason I could not see a cccam.cfg file at first was that the default CCcam(cccam 2.1.3) that came with the Nabilostar darkstar II was corrupt or damaged so when I downloaded a new CCcam 2.2.1, I could ftp cccam.cfg. For your patience and tips I am very grateful to you and the other contributors to thread. Now when I open cccam.cfg there are so many lines with # in their front. I am stuck with all these lines and do not know what next step take.
