me and jenseneverest did a alias set up for cable, it takes the epg from say history HD and can give epg to History etc we use it for cable, you can also use the service ref instead of a name and assign to a name, problem is if you have loads of history etc over many sats they all can have the same epg

ok changed a few things, hopefully will now get the channels you want,

first delete old epg

then run crossepg

also tell us if the update script comes last if you have ticked both in the alias script section as it should come after cross has downloaded data from sky,for some reason it sometimes comes last on mine, therfore the script isnt updated and you will have to run the script manually, you should only need to do this once

ok gold and comedy and sometime alibi for some reason one day has epg the next doesnt, been trying to find out why, one option is there is more than one gold and sometimes the sat channel doesnt have epg, there fore it sends zero epg across

the other option is change the time it gets your epg,

i have also been looking at using the sd data instead

the only other option is we can use the service ref instead

shame they stopped, it was a good image for the alien2

e2istream is still open on facebook, but is set to private and no one else is being added,those still there can comment

but he is still working on another release but will remove all the none english sections, he does say if you want try this

so the hidden channel shows epg, but for some reason i still get a cross over from cable epg and every now and again it shows channel coming soon

the only way is to turn enable virgin epg to no in epg settings

correction still shows up later, so looks like i need to turn now and next off for cable

Could you please also add: 4seven HD & Channel 4+1 HD (freeview channels that I have in my custom lists as it saves me having to go into the freeview bouquet then to get epg for these 2 channels).

So the files are not being downloaded and installed. You need to issue the --no-check-certificate in your commands in your choice.sh. Most likely in your initial command too. Even though I've installed manually, ATV users cannot obtain any updates until this is resolved.

I've added the --no-check-certificate to my update.py to test and it now updates and runs the alias script perfectly and I now have full 7 day EPG on all Vermin Channels.

Dave HD appears to not have populated either, so I need to look at that as well.

I dont get the provider order in my CrossEPG either (most likely a skin issue) no providers show to move up and down ( see screenshot ) so I also had to manually edit the config file too, to obtain the correct start order.

thanks for that, strange about dave hd ( wonder if it had a frequency change or more than one dave hd ,ie one without epg), i also use openatv and mine came at the bottom, not sure if it because i already had the alias files or not, as for putty that again worked for me ,but not openwebif, one for jenseneverest, but once fixed its the best for having epg on cable if you use sat and cable together

what we would say, if it aint on sky as an epg then cable wouldnt get it, but will pick up epg once you zap to a cable channel ie love nature hd

spark is the best way, but it can be funny how you use it, also i would re format the usb to fat32, before you put the image on it.
then extract the files and place

uImage and e2jffs2.img.

on the root of the usb ( its different if using the button method as thats in a folder)
place the usb in front or back (try both)
open the e2update in spark

Make sure the Update path is showing as /storage/c/

(providing the two files where saved to the root of your USB stick)

and then press RED (Enigma2 Update).

how are you flashing, using spark or the front buttons, also usbs can be a bit funny, normally 2 gig usb, also spark is the best way to flash and fastest, must be honest not used the a2 for a long time.

channel zapping is usually either skin or a tuner problem, ie if you are only using 1 tuner and both switched on
the narration is usualy in the audio settings not set correct

as far as i know windscribe dont do openvpn,you will have to pay for one or look at using vpnbook, a lot of stuff is on the net regards setting up openvpn, once running it will also work for oscam and anything you are streaming, problem is the share may ban you ip from vpns and nothing decodes, not sure why you need it for oscam though

also depending on box and what bandwidth you start at makes a big differance

ie zgemma h2s could be a max of 8mb while a hd51 can be over 40 on a vpn

i presume you are using rytec with epg importer? it was never any good for vm in my mind

first though update providors in ABM then do a new scan .

you could try and just leave it on the pvr epg channel for a bit to populate

or you could try kiddacs 7 day epg , or something me and jenseneverest was messing about with
