HDMU is the best functioning spark 7162 image yet. I would say its the only one closest to actually being functional! But its latest images still need so much work its not funny, after 30 minutes or so the remote doesn't even function anymore and you can't even get up a channel list its just completely unresponsive (REBOOT).

Which supports my opinion/theory that THESE PROGRAMMERS SOMPILING THESE IMAGES SPEND ZERO TIME USING THE IMAGES ! !! SO WHY SHOULD WE USE THERE BUGGY CRAP

now iv all credit to the guys as they are doing something i cant, can you, if you can make an image up yourself then do so

lets not forget, how long have openatv been doing the image for and its still in beta, work in progress, yes it will be buggy thats why they need people to test and report problems back

once finished i would say it will be the image out there that every one will use including you.

did you know that HDMU still have the same faults that they have had and never fixed them in all the time i have used there images.
personally i dont think they can, oh and HDMU is still in BETA after all this time of 2 years in using there images

Here is short for Image status after 5 days

first time many thanks to the great interest in the SH4 Image was not aware that it gets as a great encouragement and it is discovered so quickly.

ask for after error here is an overview of what we have already adjusted for the first image:

- Backup has been fixed
- Remote Keys were adjusted
- Was zswap now Enabled for 7111 and 7162 (comes with the Image 23:07) please check times because of low memory errors
- Built-in OSD position Plugin
- SH4 Overclock Plugin Installed
- Fixed display brightness
- Standby LED fixed
- Fixed div VFD symbols
- Network Browser hanger fixed.
- All Settings to feed again since today Uptodate
- Plugins to feed refresch
- Div Branding installed for other manufacturers on request.

div and other stuff that I've already forgotten.

ok guys listen very closely

openatv do not support softcams, so any thing to do with softcams is a no no

officially this is not yet released it is beta ,test, nightly image call it what you want but it is getting there,

next question the secret feed for the cams does work, ive tried it on oscam for both sat and cable

once you have installed the ipk via software manager and reboot box a new item called softcam will be in the plugins download the latest oscam

reboot box

install your oscam.server file in usr/keys

reboot box and got a sly channel

press blue button and goto softcam

press right and oscam should show up

press start and wait

now next thing do not do a online up date it will knacker your image up

now since the 16th when these images came out there has been 1 a day up to a new image today and will keep coming until they see fit to release a image

tspanel is mips i say again mips, these cams are set up for mips not sh4, you may get the config files to install but the actual oscam file needs to be sh4

cable in spark is a pain to get, in enigma2 its a lot easier, just need a good cable.xml with all tp in ,or use autobouquets for cable

have you tried the zoom settings on your tv , a few people have done that and worked

why tspanel thats for mips boxes and all files are for mips boxes, even if you did manage to get it to install most if not all plugins etc would not install or crash the box remember tspanel is for mips the alien is sh4

yes the cable side works, also whats the problem with the osd, id check your zoom tv settings first or if you have a 1080p tv try changing the box settings from 720p to 1080p

these images are still work in progress and are nightly versions so still have a few bugs,

but openatv are going in the right direction and i think will be a great image once finished

if its the same in spark and enigma2 id say the vfd is gone, if it is then hope its still under guarantee and send it back

i presume it means does it work , and yes the image does work, but only reason im using HDMU at the moment is the full epg on cable

mate best using oscam , i can watch record etc both sat and cable .mgcamd you cant do that (or at least iv never been able to)

ps your key shows 10 02 03 is that a typo should be 01 02 03 etc

i always say look at you budget and then go for a box that suits

but i would say pick one that has a dvb-t/c tuner as well

now iv never repeat never had a problem with my alien2 triple , ok images a few a far between but whats available is fine but that can be said for a lot of boxes including so called true mips reciever where images are being updated daily . What people forget is a lot of skins and plugins that work on mips also work on the sh4 stb.

To to me the market is saturated at the moment and a lot of boxes will fall to the wayside.

this is what ive used

Mount all on receiver startup - yes
Mount on /media/hdd - sda1 55gb
Mount on /media/hdd/movie - nothing
Enable swap on receiver startup - yes
Enable swap file - 256mb

may have to mount first reboot then set swap

the thing is normally crossepg finds the drive regardless of any mount method just find it strange but by all means search for the 3 file fix on here, it replaces 3 files in crossepg and hopfully it sorts out your problem

can i ask what box and is it single,twin,triple ,

i sometimes have this problem and bouquets going but i put it down to the alien2 triple as i have cable on as well as sometimes there is a few conflicts due to the lamdb

in all my time using the alien2 iv only ever come across the internal flash instead of ext hard drive with crossepg is in the HDMU images which needs the 3 file fix.

never on any other images i have this problem,

can i ask in hd manager what have to set it to as i believe its just the top 2 that needs setting and then the swap

this is set up to work with oscam only so you will need to put your details in oscam.server and thats in usr/keys , clines dont work on the alien2
