    couple of problems , of which one is major the sound just goes , mainly on $ channels when is glitches , we have no sound the only way is turn over to another channel then back again havent a clue why as iv never seen this before.
    also have to change my oscam config files, none of the ones in the image work

    you need the latest HDMU image, they change the plugins server location a bit back so you wont have access to the latest ones the only way is to install the latest HDMU if thats what you want

    Hi fix for crossepg for those that have problems with it reverting back to internal flash
    this works for me on the alien2 with HDMU
    but was originally for the Dream 800




    I've attached the 3 files in a zip file


    unzip the 3 files on your PC and then FTP them over to the folder /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG, delete the existing crossepg_auto.pyo, crossepg_loader.pyo and crossepg_setup.pyo and then restart the box. After the restart if you look back in the above folder you should hopefully see that the .pyo file you deleted have been recreated.


    crossepg should now work


    youve nothing to lose give it a go

    this still has the audio problem but only when you want to use the surround ie setting from pcm to spdif


    also common problem on MTV channels it has the wrong audio easily fixed


    goto menu/setup/system/autolanguageselection


    and the first audio selection 1 set to original and audio selection 2 to english this will fix the MTV audio problems


    Thanks for the backup saved me a bit of work anyway


    ps still getting the crash on cooltv but only when on the tv guide then press menu (its ok through plugins) but it may be skin related

    thanks for the image but if this is the same one i have dated 22/12 iv had a few problems


    1 is the sound always had a problem with ar-p and have had to replace the audio.elf as it keeps dropping out


    2 cooltv deppending on the skin it crashes when accessing the menu button in the epg guide mode, but 6.1 does not have this problem


    3 is media portal installed as on the one dated 22/12 has problems i removed mine


    4 i turned cec off tv set boxes tv and surround had a mind of the own (but thats my setup only)


    but again thanks for the upload i know how easy it is for other people to criticize when most of the problems is nothing to do with your backup but the original image

    agree but do you use all the plugins (dont think so)or do you want then cause they are there (most likely) just cause there is no plugin menus does not make it a bad image and there is always other ways of installing plugins if you want them, take the RSP image that has nothing but was the most stable image i have ever used.


    By all means when the fixes have come through you will probably left with a couple HDMU (always updating but very unstable and they will prob brake it in the next 10 releases) PKT (maybe in a few months if they get there act together). Open ar-p now i do like that
    Its all a personal choice but the overriding factor is the picture being judder free.

    hi i to have fibre optic with talktalk and it can take a while for it to settle down
    im avg 40 meg
    originally just had the broadband and
    had a few problems at first slow speed ect there customer service is the worst in the world(somewhere over the other side of the world), but the online forum is prob one of the best(run in th uk) and problems are sorted out pretty quicky
    the router is good as well it has a usb port and harddrives can be connected to it and files streamed to and from the port

    i was a mod on there and had great fun with scooterbuk and we both helped each other and of course others.


    there is a lot of good guys on there, but i feel sorry for all the new ones that are joining and no help is being given to those that want it on th enigma2 side of the alien.


    the last straw for me was all the editing and "no links" to certain sites even in email some went to ********


    but when a member wanted help for enimga2 the answer from admin/yoda/ant was NO


    so i told him to goto another site, to which i got a replay no links please,


    pms passed telling Ant that he didnt have a good business model by refusing guys help and quoted to him that the box he sells states clearly dual boot with enigm2.


    i also told him i was surpised no one got him on the sales of goods act


    Ant replied by banning me.
