it will be hidden

try it

Menu > setup > system > network > network browser

go in to network browser on 1st vu
scan network
it will find both vu'S
click on 2nd vu
expand it then it will ask you if you want to enter a pass click no
drop down to the hard drive click it
again it will ask you if you want to enter a pass click no
then you will see your mount options
make sure it says enable at the top all other settings should auto fill
then
just press ok on the remote
it will now mount your 2nd vu hard drive
when done the hard drive icon for 2nd DM should be green
now go to media player on your 1st vu
and look for the 2nd vu DM hard drive
go in to that and click on a file and it will play

do all that on both boxes

amazon fire tv stick with kodi on plugged in to the xbox one works

kodi wont run on xp
you will have to use XBMC
the latest XBMC that will run on xp 32bit that i know of is 12.3

will run on XBMC 12.3

i dont use vix or crossepg

no the extensions folder is for plugins
and the reason for putting the extensions folder on a hdd or usb
is to free up some space in the flash of your dreambox

skins are saved to
/usr/share/enigma2

you dont need to mess with anything in that folder

vlc reports the audio as

does your box support it

type the right password for the box and save
then start dcc

make sure your connecting to the right box
each box will have a different ip

paste this in and change the ip to that of your vu+ solo2 as marked in red
