Try flashing the spark recovery image then updating it via Ethernet cable or even just a fresh image without an update may help as I had to to that recently as there something wrong with the update I had. Which dongle is it? Is it just the small little half circle one or one with an antenna? Because I have the small one and know it’s working because it’s flashed blue when it’s picking up a signal

Did you try to go on some plugins where is necessary net to open, e.g Weather plugin or E2iplayer. Maybe your image have already
Wirelless plugin in settings.
Gave up on that image and flashed OpenPLI 7.0 and WiFi driver is working perfect! So just playing around with e2 now as it’s the first time I’ve been able to have internet access running it! Cheers for the help pal!

You have already installed driver plugin as you described in your post #11. Try to connect directly on router via LAN, and then go to
Download plugins. This driver is only for USB, and you must have some wirelless access plugin for settings your network.
See I’m trying to figure out a way of doing this without connecting using Ethernet cable. Which should be possible using USB and loading driver but I just can’t figure it out lol

That is literally all the plugins that came with the image? I tried to manually install autoboquets ipk but clearly didn’t work lol -
I installed ipk file on the latest image of OpenATV and it said installed successfully but still no joy in connecting wirelessy? any help is appreciated and also I cannot find anything using google search or search of forums so I'm not just ebing lazy and not trying to find solution!

Got past 49% on Pure2 by using scart lead as well, but surely there is settings to support HDMI?

I successfully (sort of) flashed OpenATV to my a2 box but can only use scart as it seems the HDMI isn’t working? And also when I tried to flash Pure2 it starts booting grand with boot logo but then signal goes and says ‘not supported’ and stuck at loading 49%. Even using the scart lead I can’t get picture? Any help please!

spark is the best way, but it can be funny how you use it, also i would re format the usb to fat32, before you put the image on it.
then extract the files and placeuImage and e2jffs2.img.
on the root of the usb ( its different if using the button method as thats in a folder)
place the usb in front or back (try both)
open the e2update in sparkMake sure the Update path is showing as /storage/c/
(providing the two files where saved to the root of your USB stick)and then press RED (Enigma2 Update).
I downloaded a new Pure2 image because I think the one I was using was wrong for the a2 box and loaded it through spark then booted it up and it seems to be installing fine now! Hopefully the WiFi works on it now as it was working perfect on spark but not thenold e2 image I was running and I kind of need it to ftp to the box for plugins and what not. Hopefully this one works out fine! Thanks for the help pal

how are you flashing, using spark or the front buttons, also usbs can be a bit funny, normally 2 gig usb, also spark is the best way to flash and fastest, must be honest not used the a2 for a long time.

Well I know the usb is working because I flashed my first e2 image using it yesterday and it worked perfect but wasn’t sure how to do it with e2 already running the second time so I booted back into spark using the front button on stb then inserted usb and went into plugins and ran the e2 upgrade plugin and then tried to boot up by holding down OK and selecting enigma from the box as I didn’t really know how else to do as yesterday was my first time ever flashing a new image so I’m a small bit clueless to it as of yet! is there another way to do it or was that right?

Tried flashing that PureE2 image but my box was just stuck saying boot for about 20 minutes so gave up and I’ll try again tomorrow. Also it shouldn’t take that long to boot up a new image should it?

Cheers pal I’ll give that a shot in the morning and I think it’s OpenATV or something like that on it at the minute. Do I just flash that image the same way I did the other one as I’m turning off the box and holding OK and selecting enigma and so on? Thanks for the help.
