    Well guys an update on things my end since last post. And sorry for only leaving it till now but was father in laws 70th birthday and been at his party celebrations all day.


    I have received another 12 uniques today to the affected card. 11 were written and 1 skipped. Am now saving them too. The bit i cant get my head round is the card entitlements still show the same number ,18 as it always has.


    So is the consensus that this was due to my configs not being correct ? I have another card which I sub to non *** channels. Boxnation ,ESPN and BT. The latter both have HD still working and would like that to continue so all advise will be digested

    I haven't been altering the au to off mate, I said in my previous post that it was au on all the time. I may have worded it bad but what I was saying is that I was not turning au on when entitlements were about to run out and then turning it off again. Mine was set on all the time. My card updated on December till February some time then got another update last night to March and it's after this latest one that HD stopped.


    Prophet, will empty the inbox when home on pc. Tried emptying it via tapatalk on the phone and it's not deleting them.

    Ok I have 4 boxes in my house VU+ Duo2 ,Solo2,Dm800 clone and spiderbox900hd
    Have tried on the duo2 and solo2 as client with mgcam and cccam , all good except the hd channels
    The *** hd box is a thompson DRX890-C
    I was not turning au on just to et updates near end time, I have always had it activated with no problems before


    Have adjusted config to as you recommended in your post. It was originally as your post except i wasnt saving unique emms

    Hi guys currently running OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build r9164 on my pc server. Just had new entitlements last night and HD has gone. Card has been nowhere near a *** HD box for 18mths. Are they able to pair them now even in oscam. All entitlements showing as usual.

  • Strange Problem upgrading my Oscam Binary

    Followed your tut that that dekelster linked me to and all went well.
    Compiled my own OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build r9056 and all seems good, Omnikeys are recognised and working.


    thatfellow, I did the install earlier and only returned to the thread to say that all went well and only saw your post then.


    Do you still want the logs or was that just required to try and sort my specific problem

  • Strange Problem upgrading my Oscam Binary

    Hi guys hoping someone can point me in the right direction


    I have ubuntu 13.04 on a local pc. I used thatfellows very helpful auto scripts to install oscam+cccam about a month ago and was working fine.
    The oscam version that is running is OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build r8917.
    I have 3 omnikeys and all are setup for 0963 correctly and working fine, receiving updates no problem.


    I started getting a lot more freezes than was normal and for longer durations, suspected it was some countermeasures being implemented and had a search on the net and found I wasnt alone.


    I have read that a different version of oscam will get the server back to as before. Im not too techy but something about dcw and ecm lengths have changed.


    Anyways before i used ubntu i had a debian6 server and when i wanted to update oscam i just downloaded the package i wanted unzipped it and ftpd the binary file over to my server. Reset the attributes to 0755 and start it up and away it went.


    I have tried doing the same with some of the latest versions from the trunk that is linked to in the forum here.


    Oscam runs and starts fine but the problem im getting is that none of my readers are appearing , I have used pcsc versions but its not happening. Change back to OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build r8917 binary and readers detected again no problem.


    Any help or info greatly appreciated.

    I use winscp . Just log into your server with it then drag and drop tthe whole csp folder to your local pc.

    Agree with Nano. Been using VIX on all the VU boxes I've had and installed it on the father in laws xp1000 and it runs sweet. One thing I have found is that if you use Mgcam and have it to auto start it will says it's active after an enigma2 restart but nothing clears till you Goto softcam manager and restart it manually. Cccam doesn't seem to require this.

    My duo2 was behaving exactly like this. Was advised to run A VFD Controller upgrade in the firmware upgrade plugin. Worked a treat. Duo2 remote now working as good as my solo2.

  • What spec of VPS to Use

    Hi guys, I have debian running on a local pc. Im running oscam from this to read my locals in my omnikeys. I have been running CSP and CCcam from the same machine now for about 18mths. i know I could dump the CCcam and just run the CSP but i havent totally got my head round setting up al the profiles etc so for my foregin i just run the CCcam.


    Anyway, running the whole lot on my dell pc has been fine on the whole but as I am adding more connecotrs and the load on my csp gets heavier I am starting to notice more freezing, not bad but i am getting spikes and am thinking that maybe I need to move to a vps. More bandwith etc.


    Am I correct in this, what spec of vps would yu guys use and which hosts would be recommended.

    If you have commando installed it should have asked you to set your location after first boot up. It then scans in all the channels and maps your local BBC itv etc to channel 101 102 103 etc. It adds the same boquets as a sly box too. Also it will give you a full epg for 2 days. It's some piece of work :)
