    Programs says:

    5. When finish edit, click the button to Build ICS file. OK

    6. Backup the ics file to ref directory, if channel is changed, export the channel_info.xml from
    box, click the “Auto search icons” button, most the channel will be found. But what that this mean?

    7. Nothing about how to put the newly made file back to the box???

    I'm halfway....I found how to create new picons (right size and accepted by the program).

    * make one folder for your new picons. Then add inside an "no_icon.bmp" or "sample.bmp" picon (found inside program).
    * find picons you want to add (I choosed picons from my Dreambox, but I think you can choose any, or Lyngsat logos), change size to 132x99. Then save them in your newly made folder. Could be bmp or jpg or png...
    * open no_icon.bmp with paint.
    * choose modify, then "paste from". Then choose the picon you want to add (modify).
    * save the picon you just made. That's it. Just do next one...I have to do +500....s*it
    * then add them in to the program, and build a new ics-file

    But then next problem. But what to do with the ics file? I followed the instructions for the chinese program, but it does'nt tell you have to get the new file BACK TO THE BOX!!??
    There's nothing like upgrading your channel_info.xml, when you put your Usb in...only "dumping"

    whats the best program to edit bmp?

    Don't know m8. I used Aschampoo and made them exactly as spec:

    The Bmp file format :
    Size : 132x99.
    Color : 256 bit. (8 bytes)
    72 x 72 dpi (per inch.)

    But still the icon edit program did'nt accept them. I got:

    Quote

    Error BMP palette. Please check the bmp palette! & Error bmp data

    .
    I tried all kinds of ways, copy & paste in to and empty sample. This one should work, but it does'nt: 830574a9325.pngbmp.file. Please try it...I would love to find a way to make my own picons. No one will do it for me....

    How to make your own picons?

    I need picons for Scandinavian channels on 0.8 & 4.8. The only way I found is to copy the "logofile" from Lyngsat, but thoose picons are terrible if you compare the ones you can use on a DB, for example. I used the program from Sk*box.cc, but could'nt get the correct size. Anyone have a solution for this...?

    Logos here:

    Program here:

    The picons has to be:

    The Bmp file format :
    Size : 132x99.
    Color : 256 bit. (8 bytes)
    72 x 72 dpi (per inch.)

    My friend is bringing a card (TTV Videog*ard) back from Serbia and wants to use it outside his original box, is it possible? (No sharing just watching)

    Please read my post again. Not talking about sharing. Just watching but NOT using the org. Kano box....

    The last I heard was the card is paired to the stb.

    I know this is an old tread, but can someone confirm this?

    My friend is bringing a card (TTV Videog*ard) back from Serbia and wants to use it outside his original box, is it possible? (No sharing just watching)

    your problem was the same as mine. ther is a config change to the reader file in the new ocams. that is why it tells you no matching reader, the card is failing to initialise.
    Add these two lines to your reader
    mhz = 450
    cardmhz = 2700

    Above settings are for any box, or just DB?

    I found a few but none works for me....I need one that can restart me Oscam-CCcam server every night. It's for a Vu+ Duo with BH image.
    No check script, just stop/start i right order. Just for emptying cache memory.....Can someone point me in right direction?

    This one did'nt work for me. http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=4427

    It hungs either Oscam or CCcam, don't know which or why...

    Can this script be modified for my needs (stop both cams, start both cams)?

    master G
    You're expert at these things....

    Sorry, but I'm still new to Linux..

    The file you attacheed are not the right one. They are for CANAALDIGITAAL (NL), not Canal Digital Nordic.
    The link is ok, even though name of providers has been mixed up....

    CANAALDIGITAAL is dutch, caid = 0100
    Canal Digital is scandinavian, caid = 0B00

    Is this user account for your local box, same as reading the card? I guess so...then,

    caid = 0B00 - not caid = 0B00:000000, (this is ident)
    au = canal - why upper card?
    group = 8 - why? user wants to connect to group 2 (canal) and group 1 (viasat) right?
    Correct is group = 1,2

    Are you using plain dvbapi? Are'nt you using CCcam to share between your boxes?

    I also want to know this...

    the boot (mtd2) should increase to 4M.

    Mine is also only 2m after doing the update. And I'm on 2.0.7 now, so the bootloader went though for sure. Can anyone clarify this?

    The procedure I follow is:
    I install first: librtmp1_2.4+git493+d0b3ae9-r4_mips32el.ipk
    second: udpxy_0.23+git83+e8219e1-r0_mips32el.ipk
    third: enigma2-plugin-extensions-iptvlistupdater_1.20.+git362+37625be-r11_mips32el.ipk

    Working find now after your instructions..thx (BH 2.0.7).

    just tried blue button x2 and it crashed again green screen lol ??

    Same thing happened to me. I had to reflash 2.0.6 again....
    but now I have another weird problem. No gsod, but when I try, blue+yellow button (system info) there's no info at all. Everything 0%, anf if I push blue button for "active processes". There's none, blank...weird. I wonder how this happened. If I restart the box everything is normal for a while. The only thing I've done recently, is restarting xxcam from webif. No downloads.
