    BillyBits HD Channel List 14/01/12

Attached is my latest SpiderboxHD channel list for the 14th January 2012.

It has all the popular satellites from 68.5E to 61W.
The "FREESAT UK" FAV is very family friendly with sections for "FILMS" & "KIDS", "NEWS", "MUSIC", "INTERESTS" & "SHOPPING" for those who's families use the Spiderbox
Also there are separate satellites for feed, temporary and work in progress channels - Use these satellites for any experimenting you want to do before adding to your main satellites.

All Satellites, Transponders and Channels are in chronological order except for 28.2E.
28.2E has all its channels in genre blocks.
You can easily move the blocks into the order that you prefer in the Channel Editor.

All "FAV"s are populated with clearing channels including Ethernet, UCAS, Patched Via3 and past opening channels in case they return.
You can easily delete those you do not want/can not receive or add any of your own channels.

The "read me" in the archive gives information of all the extras that this channel list has and how to easily adapt the list to your needs.
Please read it as it has a lot of information on editing the list.

This is a full channel list - just remove the satellite/channels that you do not want.
    TV Channels: 8297 (+2 Radio) of a maximum 9800
    TPs: 1368 of a maximum 3500
FAVs: All 8 used - FREESAT UK, SPORTS, FILMS, KIDS/MUSIC, NEWS/FACTUAL, GENERAL, ENGLISH PL, ADULT,

The Channel List is for either USALS or DiSEqC setups - I use this list for both without any issues.

If using USALS make sure you check/input your Latitude & Longitude after loading.
If using DiSEqC switch to "Motor (DiSEqC 1.2)" in Motor Setup - Motor Type and if using one of my lists for the first time you will need to manually locate each satellite and then store in a unique position.
I have a sticky in "Spiderbox HD Information & Stickies" showing how to use the list for the first time for DiSEqC users.
The List has Satellites from 68.5E DiSEqC "SAT Position (POS=40)" through to 61W DiSEqC "SAT Position (POS=37)"
Any future channel lists of mine will have the same SAT Position numbers so DiSEqC users will not need to locate and store each sat position again.

The main updates from the last list are:
    48E, 53E, 57E, 68.5E, 58W & 61W Satellites added to the main satellites.
All Satellite/TP/Channel changes since my last list dated 11/11/11.
All 1W TPs/Channels are now in 0.8W as "Ethernet" needs to see the satellites position as 00.8W.

The "ENGLISH PL" FAV contains any channels that show Premier League.
Most will never open with the standard Spiderbox but you may have other means to.

I do not have access to the "Ethernet" channels as my Spiderbox is well over 12 months old.
The FAVs contain these channels but are unchecked by myself but should work.

    Happy Zapping

    gracias al amigo zeros

Glad you like the new Vix image as lot of work has gone into it since Vix 2.2

Most people like the ability to adjust the the osd size and width as a lot of the newer tv,s can over scan to much and you can loose some of the tv picture and it only takes a few seconds to adjust so most user wont find this a big downer and only needs setting up once.

if you dont like the new Vix night skin (most feed back shows it really liked) you can change back to original skin of previous Vix images its now called Day HD skin and can be downloaded from the Vix online server its hidden in the Vix option.

ps make sure you do the online updates via the blue button/vix/software update to bring your box up to the latest vix build beer10

These have been tesed on linux 3.0

the PCTV Nano Stick 460e is working but does not clear most HD channels lol

Sundtek (Blue LED 1st gen) HD channels dont clear lol

Sundtek (Green LED 2nd gen) has issue with SR30000 channels

these wont drive a motor as far as i know

if you have not upgraded to the latest Vix 2.3 why? you are missing out a ton of stability fixes and improvements to many to mention but to get the above usb sticks working you need to be on linux kernel 3.1.1 for the Vu+ boxes

I have been running the PCTV Nano Stick 290e on my et9000 running latest Vix image since christmas you need to use the em28xx-dvb drivers from the Vix feeds in drivers.

The usb stick has been running great not had any glitches or dropouts so far the SD picture quality is better than my old win n***-t HD is very good epg works as normal and subtitles are working fine cant get teletext working and zapping is not as quick as the fixed tuners but for just recording all the wives soaps it great

i managed to get a new one of ebay for £60 before crimbo

    Format USB memory stick FAT32.

Add the et6x00 folder to root of memory stick

Insert the USB medium into either USB sockets on the front or rear panel.
Now Power Off and Power On the box through the powerswitch at the rear panel of the box.

After Power On, ET6000 is detecting if there is ET6000 firmware available on the USB stick.
When the yellow/orange led shines then there is ET6000 firmware detected.
To load the ET6000 firmware you'll need to press the up button on the frontpanel.
When the green led will shine together with he yellow/orange led then the box is loading the firmware.
Please be patient because it will take couple of minutes to finish upgrading.
When the yellow/orange led will disappear then the box is finished upgrading the firmware.
The box will startup automatically after the upgrade is finished.

    -Note-
During upgrading, please don't unplug power or shut down STB.
The frontpanel has 3 leds: RED, GREEN, YELLOW/ORANGE
