I am using a debian pc as my server. My oscam configs look similar to yours, however I was advised that I don't need oscam.dvbapi on my server.
Also don't know what P: xxxx, is.

A valid point, however my family members are very familiar using the Vu+ duo. Changing to an equivalent quality box is not cheap so if I can get a tuner at the right price I will try one. I have 2 Vu receivers at the moment. The new Vu+ machines are costing somewhere in the region of 600 700 euro here in Ireland.

Thinking of fitting a VU+ Turbo USB Tuner DVB-C/T2 to my 5 year old Vu+ duo. I am running the latest vix image and would welcome any comments from forum members on where to buy, installation etc.

As mckee25 suggested it's probably the cap's on the top board, however in the past I had some units with the regulator IC beside the cap's faulty. I don't think I have any spares left as I think I sent a few to some other forum member down under in Australia. Replace the 3 cap's beside the regulator's whether they check / look good or bad.
The ESR goes high with age.

Here is my latest oscam log. See invalid sid at the bottom. Oscam is showing me 1card entitlement which was always the case. I checked that card is ok in original box. I have tried various caid and ident as suggested but all to no avail. Maybe someone has some working configs for Meo 30w oscam.server, oscam.user etc, white list etc that I can take a look at. Thanks to everyone for your help so far. I am determined not to let this beat me.

Its safe to show the log.
Just remove any ip addresses or anything that could be sensitive.
You can pm if you prefer.
Stupid question. How do I PM you. At my age the memory is a bit suspect.

reader shows 1 entitlement
Maybe someone else with this card can confirm this is correct.
Its possible your card hasn`t received the EMM to update enetitlements.
What date is on the entitlements ?
Show us the oscam log from startup and after trying to view the sport channels.
Entitlements good until July. Shows all channels in original box. Is it safe to post live log or can I PM or email.

Before I give up on Meo I am posting my reader configs. Until recently it was running all Meo sports channels. From earlier posts I know that they changed to 1814. As you can see from the configs I have tried different ident configs, ciad's, white lists et,c but channels are still not opening. I have saved the oscam live log but don't know if I should post them. The reader shows 1 entitlement which I thought was incorrect but on reflection this is the way things were when all was running OK.

Thanks bud, I upgraded after some difficulty to the same version of oscam as yours. At first my ubuntu would do very little when I tryed to get updates etc. After many attempts I discovered that my server did not have much in the 'sources' file. When I replaced it with a more up to date one all went to plan and I was able to install the pcscd-tools and other drivers etc. I will get back to setting the correct oscam config's for my Meo card, however I am told that this card might soon be end of life. I am considering a movistar card for 19e as I have a holiday home in Spain. Don't know about running it though.

Major step forward. I managed to upgrade to ubuntu 16.0 but was having trouble until I replaced the sources file with a new one. This then allowed me to find and install various packs etc and upgrade to oscam 11384. The last thing I need to sort as you may see from a previous post is getting the meo card to show all its entitlements. Thanks again for all you help so far. Keep you all poated.

if the answer is NO
then you do need it
If you want to use OScam for watching TV (not only for reading cards) you need to add these lines to oscam.conf FILE:
[dvbapi]
enabled = 1
au = 1
boxtype = dreambox
user = local
To clarify. Card is in a PC with omnikey and showing only one entitlement. I managed to upgrade the oscam to a recent version but its still the same. My feeling is that I am doing something wrong with caid or ident. Still confused about avbapi. Thanks for all your help so far.

Think ubuntu 13.04 is my problem. When I try and install pcsc tools etc, etc, I get the message "no installation candidate ". I will have to install version 12.04 as I know this worked on my last server A1. Keep you posted.

I normally pop card into original box for emm's.
I suspect that my omnikey is not installed properly. When I run the command lsusb in putty it shows the details of the omnikey, devise and bus etc. I took this for granted that its drivers were installed properly. My new server is on ubuntu 13.04 but for some reason I seem to remember that I had to run 12.04 on the old one to get the omnikey to download and install the drivers and see my card.

I rebuilt a new server on ubuntu 13.04 with oscam r9584, and before I did my server was allowing me to see sport tv 5 only. I followed previous postings from forum members and ran into a brick wall. Before I crashed my previous server my omnikey was showing 1 entitlement only. On the new server it reads none. Here is my reader setup
