Thanks for your response,
To clarify. I want to run in meo in oscam which I had but only one sport channel was showing picture. I don't have dvbapi file installed. Do I make one up and if so where do I install it.
Thanks in advance.
Ran into trouble so rebuilt server. I don't understand if I need dvbapi or not.

Hope this helps
Thanks guys for all your input. Still no joy, however checking my server I see that my oscam is 1.20 svn r.7488 and debian is 6.0.3. Is it time for a rebuild .
Hi guys,
thanks for the advice. I tried adding CAID 1814 after the old one 0100 but it still did not work. I tried putting into OSCAM the Provider ID of 000007 , it was 005221. No luck with that either.
This is my extract from OSCAM.server
label = meo
description = MeoP
protocol = smartreader
device = Serial:Reader 29
caid = 0100,1814
detect = cd
mhz = 480
cardmhz = 357
group = 1
Meo changed encryption from seca (0100) to nagra (1814), still no pairing is done, so no need for extracting BK and RSA for now.
You need to edit your oscam.server to match 1814 CAID.
Thanks Bud,
I will give it a go and post the outcome.
Hi All,
Do I need an Oscam services file for Meo 30w. I use a second box in the bedroom but it only shows 2 channels from my card in my server.
Hi All,
I need some help with my server which I did not build myself. A friend did it for me about 5 years ago and alas he is no longer on this planet. It runs cccam and has never let me down intil today so I need some guidance in sorting out the problem with some sort of logical approach. None of the stb's in my house can connect to it.If I ping the server over my lan it replys OK. If I try and browse into cccam, it the way I always do , by using the IP and cccam port , I get the notice that this site cannot be reached. I can FTP into the server with Filezilla OK. Where do I start.
Thanks in advance.

Panick over.
I ran the command 'aptitude update' to update debian. This took about 5 mins and when it was finished cccam was working again. I don't know what happened as when I ran the 'top' command
I could see cccam on the process list. Maybe its time to buy a lottery ticket as luck was on my side with this one.
Only oscam and mgcamd work on that box mate.
Thanks bud.

Thanks bud,
I might try a fresh install of vix as its starting to do strange things on me. What vix version and build did you use.

Thanks ,
let you know how it goes.
Hi All,
I just installed vix4 image on an Amiko Alien triple tuner box. All seems fine except I tried to install cccam 221 but get some sort of error message during installation. CCcam 214 installed ok but would not open up any channels.
Any ideas.
Thanks MasterG,
I didn't know if it was important or not.
Something I just noticed. CCCam NodeID on cccam home page and that listed in oscam.fg are not the same. Is this correct.
Hi All,
Never posted in this section before as my background is in TV / sat industry. I have a small project that might be a job for some Raspberry PI's. I want to use some audio line level sources and put them over a stand alone wifi network and allow users listen using their mobile phones. I am not looking for hifi quality but latency will be an issue as the audio will be from some TV receivers so I don't want to have bad lip sync problems. Any suggestions where to start. To be honest I will be passing the information over to my 16 year old son as he has played around with the PI in the past.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your reply,
I am running oscam as reader and cccam as server, however I recently modified my setup to allow me to use mgcamd at the client end. I now can run cccam, oscam or mgcamd at the moment on my stb ok. I was wondering if the users first on the list ( called cccam and cccam2 ) should be green. Maybe this is not a problem at all. My plan is to dump cccam later when my mates change their stb's.
Hi MasterG
Here is my screen shot. The first two users are what I setup in oscam and tied them to cccam with an N line 127.0.0.1 etc etc, and 192.168.1.201 etc etc ( server ip ). They turn green and say online for about 30 secs after that then go yellow. Both oscam and cccam clients are displayed on the webif as you can see, however when I browse into cccam it displays zero clients connected. My mate says that these users should be green as is the case on his server.483b66136ce3c479a28a8b93.jpg
Display MoreIs the opticum x7 on the same network as the server or connecting externally ? If internal, are you using the ip address of the server on the c line instead of hostname ? If external, did you go to canyouseeme.org and check the cccam port is open ?
On your server you have cccam configured in oscam.conf:
And an account setup for the opticum x7:
You now have a c line for the opticum x7.
Connecting internally (192.168.1.87 is the ip address of the server):
Connecting externally (10002 must be open in the router):
Hi MasterG,
I have all the above configs setup ok and I can see pics in cccam, oscam and mgcamd ok. However in the oscam webif dashboard the the cccam that I configured in oscam.confg is displayed in green for about 20 secs and then turns yellow. Is this normal. I compared it with a friends and his remains green and online 100% of the time.
Hi MasterG,
There is one thing puzzling me a bit. On the oscam dashboard the cccam user that I setup in oscam.conf shows up as online and is in green, however after about half a minunite it changes to yellow and says connected. There are also no statistics in the ecm panels. I can open my stb and view channels in oscam, cccam and mgcamd ok. If I web browse into cccam it shows zero active and zero connected clients. My active box in cccam is displayed on the oscam dashboard.
bump
have compared with friends ubuntu setup , same configs etc, his cccam user in oscam remains green.

Hi MasterG,
Got sorted out ok. On closer examination I found that for some reason my oscam text files had one or two characters misplaced. I was using a notepad in ubuntu and am getting used to it at the moment. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. It's not the first time.
Keep up the good work.
The x7 is on a different network. My original listen port for cccam I have retained and I made a new port for oscam / mgcamd. This new port I checked with port checker and it came up as OK. The X7 give me a green light for both ports and displays pics from both newcamd and mgcamd but when I change settings on X7 for the cccam I get no pics. I will double check later and note what the X7 says exactly and post here. It might throw some light on the situation. The server at this stage has the original cccam config removed.
Thanks again.
