Good Day Everyone, I have finally had a chance to get back on my satellite and first I want to say sorry, It is 4100H not V I was talking about. I am still having issues with it. I keep having the error "reader not found". I have not changed anything with my config - it worked well before and now I get this error. Has this changed? DO I have an issue in config? This is challenging me and as I have read through this I see it is still clearing for some people. Has me scratching my head.

Anyone having issues with 105w 4100V? I am not getting anything there this afternoon. Has something changed with this or do I have the gremlins in my STB again?

@piplan1966 You're writing nonsense. Try to think about, for example, that if it can scan in OpenATV and not in Openpli, then wouldn't there be some problem in the image where it can't ?
I see perfect sense in what I wrote. It scans with OPEN ATV and doesn't with OPENPLI. Therefore the problem is with OPENPLI and this box. I see several saying this box is not to be bought and I am in full agreement right now. Seems this thing is possessed.
So once again, and slo-w-ly, even for the slow ones.

So if you were able to scan under OpenATV and it doesn't work under OpenPLI, then either you don't know how to operate the device properly or there is a problem in OpenPLI and that should be reported to the OpenPLi team and not to slander Octagon.

I want to follow up on this thread to ensure that everyone knows that I am not slandering OCTAGON. After re-flashing and configuring with both OPEN ATV and OPEN PLI, this is working. The problem with OPEN Pli not seeing the LNB has miraculously disappeared. Was the issue with the original flash of OPENPli? Who knows. I do know that it is working now. IN fact, this Octagon box is working as well as the EDISION Osmio 4k+ that I have been using. With this being said, I hope that anyone thinking I was slandering OCTAGON with my original post realize I was asking for help, not criticism. Thanks to all with constructive replies, that type of response is what makes this a good place to work out issues.

Yes, that is what I am trying to say. OpenPLI has an issue and I cant figure out what the issue is. I plan on flashing the box again, after a factory reset, and see if I can get it to work that way. It seems I have irritated some people on here and it was not intentional. I am just trying to get some ideas on why openpli can not see a LNB. Are you new to enigma2 devices ? If so the learning curve is a long one..... It makes little sense to compare openATV and openPLI they are completely different.
Have you setup your tuners correctly ?
What exactly is the error message ??
I am new to OCTAGON SF8008 SUPREME but I have been working with enigma 2 for about 2 years. I have used EDISION OSMIO 4k prior to this box. I am not a complete rookie to this, but, I am a long way from being totally proficient in the inner workings! I have madeit past the issue I was having and the box is working now with OPENPli. I reset the box, reflashed it with OPENATV in slot 1 and OPENPli in slot 2. Configured both and have successfully scanned satellites with both.
I am not sure what the issue was with the earlier installation, but, I am a firm believer in PFM! ;-)

I am not slandering Octagon, at least I am not slandering them intentionally. I have asked for assitance/advice on how to use this box with OPENPLI. If it has offended you, it was not intentional. If you want to slander my intelligence level, that is a different story. I did not ask you for a condescending attitude and your replies definitely appear to be that to me. Now, if anyone would like to offer some assistance with OPENpli on this box, I would appreciate it.

I tested a model (8008 Supreme) with OpenATV 7.4 and OpenPli 9 for several weeks without encountering any particular problem.
When you booted into Open PLI, did you have to do anything other than follow the install wizard? I get a error telling me that it does not have a LNB. I connect my edision to it and it has no issues. I am sure it is a configuration problem but I can not figure it out. Looking for help with it.

I have a isssue with this box. I just received the SF8008 SUPREME and I have installed OPENpli 9.1 in one of the slots and OPEN atv in another slot. I have been through the install wizard with OPENPli and I have set up the tuner as a simple and have my LNB set to universal. When I try to scan, it instantly tells me scan complete and there is nothing there.
I booted into the OPENatv and it allowed me to scan channels in.
What am I doing wrong/or not doing that I need to get scanning channels?

as a few month i don t have time for use my dish...
For 103w/3940v ch, you need EMM keys, as the ecm keys are rolling (changing) every day or so.
Have you had any luck getting these? I am looking for both of these and have had no luck to date. Any help would be great!

It has the EMM keys. I think only 4 are still valid and the last ECM keys found with UA . That UA and EMM is still valid the last time I checked.

Thanks, I will look at 5.1 and see about upgrading to it. I am having difficulty with a couple of other mux on 105 and 101. I have not had a chance to look at tit yet, (to many honey do's) but I plan on checking it out tomorrow. I still seem to have gremlins in the STB, or I have a switch that is not passing 4100. I will know more tomorrow. I keep reminding myself this all works on PFM!

Sorry Folks, I am so far into this I am thinking everyone has the same equipment that I do. ;-( I am using a Edision mini4k, TNAP 5.0 , OSCam EMU
Version: oscam-1.30_svn-r11757-801
Compiler: arm-oe-linux-gnueabi
Box type: osmini4k (generic)
I have my softcam key files structured correctly, as I am successful in getting every key I have installed to function. This took a while to learn the best way to structure these so they would be easy to work with. I think all I need is the EMM / ECM for 101W 4020H and I will be able to take it from there.
I am still learning, and enjoying this immensely, Thanks for taking the time to help!

I am continuing to expand my knowledge and I am now seeking the keys for 101W 4020H 30000. I have expended everything I have been able to find all to no avail. Can someone point me in the correct direction ? Just about the time I think I have a handle on this, I get another curve ball!
