Hi, since this post I have been trying many different OScam configs, with no success.

Is anyone able to help me with some (newbie oriented) document or guide on how to setup a softcam to be able to read a physical card, with debugging steps?

I have many questions:

1. how does it find the "CAID"s, the "ECM_PID"s? From the card or from the satellite feed?
2. What does "THIS WAS A SUCCESSFUL START ATTEMPT" mean? What was successful? Did it read the card?
3. What is an ATR? Which characters should it find there?

I installed the package, then I tried to install BarryAllen from there, but after that I couldn't find it in any menu

Well, the reason is I like to try new images from time to time (read: often), but I want to keep the one in the box as the stable fallback one

Multiboot would be another option, but if I ccan flas an SD to test a new one, that would be ideal

I have been trying to insert my TivuSat card both in the front and in the back holes, but to no avail.

I'm not sure it is possible with the default firmware, but I didn't find any other flashable firmware to test.

Even a picture of the inside of the device wuold help, to understand if I am inserting the card in the right place

I am looking for images to try via SD card before flashing, but I could only find OpenELEC, which is Kodi only (no satellite menu available).

Is there a way to either convert the "rootfs" .tar.Xz images or a repository of images ready to flash?
