    Ive just bought another DM800 for upstairs to replace my spiderbox.
    I had the DM800 downstairs and the spiderbox on a loop through the DM800. This used to work great . Then the dm800 was turned off the spider upstairs would run fine and would power the motor.
    Since I have got the new dm800 I can not do anything, it wont show any channels apart from FTA ones (unless the same channel is on the DM800 downstairs) It just shows up as no signal????


    If I put a channel on downstairs the signal is then full. It also wont power my motor. I have set up USALS to exactly the same as the box downstairs, no joy!
    What am I doing wrong?

    This is really wierd!
    If I install the picons to the flash internal memory they work great. I delete those and put the exact same folder on the USB and they mix up.
    Is there a setting that I need to change?

    Yep mate. rebooted loads of times, still the same.
    I dont know if it is the new image nemisis 2.4 with bootloader 84B?

    I have just tried to install some picons on my DM800.
    I have put a usb stick in the back and downloaded picon files from both tspanel and here on the forum.
    I have put them in the picon folder on the usb stick, my problem is that the wrong picons are showing up when I change channel.
    I put comedy central on ade *** sports shows up.
    What am I doing wrong?

  • ACC-HE Audio Problems MEO Package on 30W

    Im sorry but I'm going to need some more help with this!!
    Ive just updated my image to EDG-Nemesis2-3-dm800HD-SVN(093)SIM201-SSL82 Backup by sat4fun
    I did this as this image does support wifi via usb, which I have finally got to work


    How do I add cccam 2.2.1 on this image? When I had the blackhole image I could add cccam through the automatic download, but I cant find this on the Nemesis image.

  • ACC-HE Audio Problems MEO Package on 30W

    I have recently found some audio problems on some channels on my dm800 (On the MEO package on 30w).
    The channels show the picture fine but there is no audio.
    When I try to change the audio it shows AAC-HE audio channel running bit no sound. There is no choice to change the audio channel there is only AAC-HE.
    I have rescanned the channels bit the same problem happens on the new scanned channels. I have also tried a new channel list but again get this problem.
    Is there anything I can do?
    Is no one else having this problem with the dm800?
    I have tried everything I can think of. Is there a plugin to decode AAC-HE?

    Hi, I gave up in the end! I had the same problem as you, the DM800 found the usb device but then crashed everytime.
    I installed all the fix patches that I could find, but it didnt make any difference.
    If there is a fix for this I would also be interested.

  • Help needed with dlink wireless usb dm800

    Ive managed to get hold of a ralink rt73 usb stick. (Dlink G122 C1 F/W 3.10)
    When I plug it into the dm800 it recognises the usb stick, but when I go into the setup the dreambox freezes and then crashes. I have tried this a few times now and every time the box creashes and I have to pull the plug to reboot.
    Is there anything else I can do to stop the box from doing this?

    I have assigned ports 17000-18000 to my DM, but when I use the tools to see if the port is open, I keep on getting the responce that the port is closed.
    I have set the dm as a static ip 192.168.1.50 and when I look at the DM in my router config it says static. I just can not seem to get the port to open.

    To be fair mate, I have done nothing but read the stickies all day and try and sort this out. I have followed the advice from portforward.com for my router and it still is not working. I wondered if there was a scanner just for the dreambox as that is the only piece of equipment that is attached to the router that now has a static ip. I did not know if the port scanners would not work (since I have not done this before) with my computer that has a dynamic ip.
    Im just trying to learn as much as I can and sometimes you get so confused you have to ask an expert!

    Now I have got to grips with some of my DM800 I thought I wold try some extra features and try to link into some peers.


    I have read the tutorials but I'm lost again!
    I have set up a no-ip account and I was looking at openiong a port on my router. Do I need to make the dm800 a static ip?
    I have made one of my computers static and tried to open port 17000 (dont know why this port!) but when I test it I can not seem to get it open.
    Do I need to make all the computers static as well as the dm800?


    I hope this makes sense!

  • Backup of settings

    I am going to try a new image on my dm800 just to see how different images work for my setup.


    I am fine flashing the box, but is there a way to back up the settings so I dont have to start programming the satellite positions from scratch?
    I have made a backup of my channel list and I can import that using dreamboxedit.

  • Help needed with dlink wireless usb dm800

    I take it that there are different variations of each of these usb drives taht have the Railink chipset.
    Ive just checked my dlink and it is verB1 F/W1.0 (I think this is the problem!) as I dont thisnk it has the Railink chipset.


    How can I make sure that they have the right chipset?
