freddy i thought you were using rqcamd ?

smartmouse is just a phoenix reader so i cant see why not . i've never tried however in a dm800 . In linux running oscam i can confirm that your reader will work with the right settings.

Your best bet is to visit the site sponser at Creative Satellite UK - International - Digital Receivers, Technomate, SKY Digital, Starview, The Box, SKY Italia, LCD Wall brackets , Plasma brackets . Once you know what your budget is pick a card that would be of some interest to you and configure it for your own setup . Then more people i'm sure would exchange shares.

yes you do . effectively you use oscam as cardserver for your local and then pass to cccam . Or just host your card on oscam and exchange shares over n lines and use mgcam on your receiver
thx

Very easy mate
Install your usb broadband dongle as normal
Connect laptop to dream etc via ethernet cable( must be a crossover type ) unless you use a network switch
Setup internet connection sharing within windows on your mobile broadband connection
Assign your laptop a static ip on the lan of say 192.168.1.1
Assign your receiver a static ip of say 192.168.1.2
All being well your box should now have internet connectivity . Just be aware that some mobile broadband providers have there own NAT on network and certain ports are blocked. So you may need to experiment .
thx

"unable to read latency timer -32"
don't worry about this text its normal for debian to report this

georgy , payservers are not a good idea . Why line there pockets when you can just make some good friends in this forum. There are often members posting up with free servers. If you want better shares though it would be an idea to get a local card rather than leeching from others. All payservers are banned from this forum so if you come across any members wanting $$$ for shares then please report back to one of the mods.

that message you are getting is normal for debian . My debian says it aswell but the reading ability is unaffected so i wouldnt worry . glad to hear you are all up and running. To future proof with your particular card i would go for oscam as the reader as cccam is in my opinion a dead project now

did you install the files from max digital link ?
-
is it the irdeto or via version ?
-
yes,
just follow the guide written by master g . The script will do all the hard work for you . But you must still configure your oscam config files.

would maybe stick with what you know buddy to begin with . baby steps and all that !! . You can check which firmware version is on smrgo's by installing the below to a windows pc and then inserting the smargo to there
http://www.maxdigital.nl/file.php?id=15
I think there is a readme with the downloaded file but dont quote me.
Once you confirm your firmware version is ok you must setup your smargo for linux.
Open smartreader.exe
3: Plug the smartreader into a usb port
4: Select Autoswitch or fixed mode ( choose fixed at 6.00mhz )
5: Select Normal or Dreambox kernel ( normal kernel for linux pc )
there maybe other options . its been a while
6: Make sure it returns with "writing settings successful"
7: Thats it !!If all has gone well the smargo should be set for a linux environment at 6.00mhz to compliment the card you want to use it for
Now just configure your reader line in your cccam and hopefully you get working
thx
