    Update:

    The brightness problem doesn't happen when changing "HDMI HDR Type" to hdr10 or hlg in Video settings. So, I can say this workaround solves the problem for me even though I should enable HDR all time.


    The audio noise problem still happens.

    Hello guys,


    First, please forgive me if the issues below are already know, but I search this and other forums and couldn't find any information about them.

    I bought Zgemma H9 Combo about month ago and installed PurE2, OpenATV, OpenPLi and OpenViX images. Using any of these images, I noticed:

    1- There is a random ticking noise can be heard from tv speaker when watching tv channels. It seems it happens depending on the audio content. It is annoying especially on quiet scenes. I tried to reproduce the issue by recoding and playing back a channel while the problem happening but I couldn't heard the noise when playing back the clip (using Media player).

    2- There is a random quick change in picture brightness (from darker to normal). It also happens depending on what is playing and can be noticed clearly when watching football matches.

    I am not sure if these are hardware related problems or something else. Btw, the STB is connected to LG smart 4K LED TV and having no issues with my other STBs. I replaced the HDMI cable and used a different TV HDMI port but nothing changes.


    Any suggestions to solve the problems please?
