    Hi,

Does E2iPlayer have a Loop option? Loop One and Loop All to be used from playlists

loaded locally? Loop One is a great option just in case a stream disconnects so it

reconnects without jumping to the next entry in the playlist. Loop All is fine too if

    needed.

Also, is there a way to make the window of this plugin much larger? It's very small,

    difficult to see and read.

    Thanks.

105 views so far and no answer. I don't know if maybe this plugin is not popular or if

AceStream usage itself on Enigma2 is even less popular.

Haven't installed it yet because I read that, apparently, this plugin must work together

with a PC where AceStream must run, then the plugin on the receiver acts like a client.

If this is true, I don't see the point in this plugin - you could just stream whatever is

running on any PC to any player on the receiver, I guess...

Anyone using this plugin can clarify this? Is it possible to run AceStream by itself without

    needing the PC side?

Also, any alternative to AceStream for Enigma2?

    Thanks.

Regarding Xstreamity, for what I read, it can't load .m3u files, so I uninstalled it. I don't know

about these Xtream Codes IPTV streams yet, but would like to test them to see how this,

apparently very good player, works. It'd be great if someone could provide me with a

working link so I can test the player, a FTV, free to air, like BBC One, will be fine of course.

I will copy it to the playlists.txt file to see how it is loaded and how nice is its interface

according to some screenshots I saw of it.

    Thanks, guys.

For anyone interested in having a media player that has the 2 basic features of loading .m3u

local playlists and being capable of looping their content:

After some testings I've found a plugin that does these 2 things I needed for now, and it

wasn't too far away to get, it's the included in OpenATV 7.3, 'Media Player'. This can load

.m3u local files and has the option to loop the playlist.

The Loop feature will loop the whole list of streams, but if you want only one stream to be

looped, just in case it disconnects, you can simply create a playlist with only this stream.

It works perfectly. Of course, you can create several playlists with a single stream, as

    you wish.

Another player that can load .m3u local playlists is E2Iplayer, but I haven't found the Loop

    option.

Will try some more players when I can. It's good to have more than one ready in case one

    fails.

Chromium doesn't appear in my extensions list on Zgemma H7C and OpenATV 7.3.

Should it be there? I updated the list of these feeds using Telnet, and I don't know

if this update through Telnet is actually needed, but read it somewhere... anyway,

after this update, Chromiun didn't show up in the list.

This is the only web browser availale for OpenATV?

    Hey guys,

Before trying all IPTV players available out there, I better ask you advice on what is the best one or more complete,

that has two basic features that I need: capable of loading playlist files, .m3u type, from local SSD, etc., like VLC on

PC does, and that has the option of 'Loop' or similar, to use it just in case there is a disconnection, so the player

reconnects itself immediately automatically to that same stream without having to do it manually.

    Thanks.

So, until a new YouTube player comes out from somewhere, or an updated version, I guess

I could try a web browser and maybe there is one that lets you rewind to the beginning of

a YouTube live stream video, and also create bookmarks.

What is the best or most complete web browser that works with OpenATV 7.3 that, at least,

    do these two basic things?

    Thanks.

Try installing plugin Chromium 2, which also includes YouTube TV.

Chromium 2 doesn't appear in the feeds list of my Zgemma H7C and OpenATV 7.3. Did a search and

found the below thread with a few Chromium 2 ipk files, tried most of them but they won't install,

got an 'incompatible architecture' error message.

So, what to do next to have this browser or YouTube TV? Or any other alternative to have YouTube

with the basics features I mentioned in my first post.

    Thanks.

    Hey guys,

What is the best and with more options YouTube plugin or method available that works with OpenATV ? I just tried the one

available from the plugins list in OpenATV, but this won't let you navigate to the beginning of live streams nor the

navigation of normal videos is smooth at all, it doesn't respond well to key commands. Also, apparently you can't create

links or shorcuts to channels/videos nor loading videos from a local playlist.

Is there any other plugin that can do all this much better? A web browser would be OK if needed - I haven't tried any yet.

    Thanks.

Just in case someone needs it:

By testing all keys I've found out that actually there is a GoTo function in OpenATV. To activate it,

long press the forward or backward or next or previous keys, not the Next and Prev keys, and

then a window will show up to introduce the time you want in minutes.

Thanks. PiP is fine now with the Back key. I will do some testings with both InfoBars to see what can

    be done with them.

Now, a more important feature I'd like to enjoy and, asked about it here but nobody answered yet,

and I can not find any info about it anywhere: Zoom. Is it possible to have zoom for live TV and

video playback with the OpenATV image? If not, is there any other image that does it? I could try

any other image installing it on another multiboot slot since I have 3 free yet.

OpenATV's Teletext has zoom, so I guess it could also be implemented for live TV and video

playback. Maybe it's already there but I haven't seen it...

I'll have a look at that signal finder, maybe I saw it but I don't remember now what that was exactly.

Regarding the second InfoBar, I have it activated but actually I have not seen it yet... weird. I did

try pressing the OK key twice several times just in case it could stay permanent, but it didn't,

and that didn't show any second bar... hmm, not sure it this second bar not showing up has

something to do with the configuration I modified a bit with the MetrixHD plugin this skin has.

Anyway, I'll have a look later whe I get home.

    Thanks.

If you are checking signal, you can use the signal finder applet. Pressing Exit will exit the current screen almost everywhere. Otherwise people would be locked in and be unable to do anything else.

Not only checking the signal meter, also some other details like the blue progress bar or whatever.

Now that you mention it, what is the signal finder applet? where is it? not sure if I saw that...

OK, so I've assigned the PiP function to the Back key which is more handy than the yellow key,

and also because it was configured to show the History Zap and this was already available

with the Prev and Next keys.

Also assigned the PiP-Zap swapping feature to the Back key, but with the Long pressing. Both

work nicely. Although if PiP is used with video playback, neither work, I don't know why, so

you have to press the blue key to select the PiP-Zap feature - of course in order to use PiP

while playing back a video you have to activate first PiP and then load the video, because if

you try activating PiP while the video is already being played you get an error message, and

    I guess this is normal.
