No you don't. It's included in the "-clone" version. My box it's near to its death so this might be a mix of software and hardware. Latest is not always the greatest so I'm fine with older versions as long as it works

To provide a softcam.key to clients that do not have a cam capable of reading softcam keys and/or maintain a single softcam.key for multiple boxes instead of having to update it on every client.

Streamrelay is also useful as this functionality can be used to offload the stream relay from a slow box (dm800 for example).

It seems that AAC passthrough is broken on these newer images (I cannot pinpoint exactly when it broke, sorry). Disabling AAC downmix results in no audio. Before it would send a dolby audio signal.

opkg update + opkg upgrade also tries to rewrite the full system which fails due to lack of storage.

This device also runs extremely low on RAM. Enabling ZRAM would be beneficial to avoid crashing due to out of memory

OpenPLI is GPL v2 licensed. If you modify it, you must share the modified sources or you are breaching the GPL v2 agreement.

Unfortunately, this is where we stand now. Multiple private oscam builds with whatever changes inside that may compromise our privacy, burn our house or kill our cat.

I wish people would just work together and send patches to upstream. We would have much better chances in clearing all services.

If you use any other CAM except the one posted in this topic, you will not have success opening Sky IT/DE/UK. The patch is closed source and only samur has it.

So please, no talking about other CAMs here

It seems that your HDD has an unformatted or unrecognized partition. Make sure that your HDD only has 1 primary partition and it's in fat32 / ext2 / ext3

Hey mrlu, I see you maintaining multiple openpli versions based in various GCC versions. Isn't it easier for you to just create one thread and always post a build based on the latest GCC and openpli-devel branch instead of having all these multiple build environments?

Consider pushing these patches upstream. No one likes binaries without sources, we never know what they do behind your back.
