My box is an nbox bzzb with an OpenPli image the problem is this image doesn't have the option to download softcams etc so I was wondering if anyone could help me by pointing me in the direction of Oscam 4709 sci0 unstable as this apparently works on my box.

Sorry to jump on an old thread but I think I am having simualar issues my OpenPli Image 8.6 doesn't have the option to download but Im looking to download an EMU to clear my line - Oscam 4709 sci0 unstable does anyone know where I can get it from please?
Also I am unable to connect to the oscam server to see whats going on. The port isn't open as not only can I not connect via http but I cant telnet to it so its defo not open :(

The box I had duo multi boot v2 ..do you know what boot loader is installed
How would I find this out mate? Its a modchip box so probably not the same as what you have.
It's exactly the same as BSLA make sure you have the same boot loader for both machines....and you select ush1 with the USB image it should boot
It does work cos I tried it with Hyperion v4
I cant remember seeing ush1 in the boot menu, the mod on this box is a modchip (if that's makes any difference?)

Just wondering if anyone knows how to boot the 5800sx BZZB systems from an image stored on a USB pen drive? I took my ISB pen out from my BSLA box in an attempt to boot it from that but nothing happens the BZZB board has Enigma2 installed on it in nand.

As far as i know it cant be done without changing CPU as the BZZB cpu is not compatible with Enigma.
Modifying your box is not an easy thing to do without a good knowledge of electronics and soldering. I have seen a few things on youtube that may be able to help, but as for information about modifying these boxes its not something that is easy to find and is 99.9% of the time written in Polish

Thanks, Ive found a site which sells the replacement CPU and I have a reflow oven so replacing the CPU wont be a challenge. Half the challenge is finding instructions or someone that is prepared to tell me the process. I only want to do it for the challenge\experience I bought a bzzb box for £10 so if I break it its nothing lost. There was this post http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=58041 which shows the BZZB board has been modified so it must be possible :)

Managed to pick one of these up relatively cheaply and wanted to have a go at flashing enigma2 on it - does anyone have a link to the instructions please and a place where I can get the correct cpu as I think it needs swapping?

Got this up and running last night, looks sweet, one thing i did notice was that when doing a soft restart the box would hang at USH1, doing a cold restart ( power off and on) box comes up fine, any ideas?
Alright mate - did you get anywhere with this? I face the same problem it hangs on USH1 and the only way to resolve it is to pull the power cable out as you said. Cheers
Hi tom it was the uboot managed to swap the wire from A19 to A20 it then came back to life but A19 is very hard to see will leave until tomorrow
Hey bluepassat - have you\are you having a crack at flashing one yourself? Im actually quite tempted as Im good with a soldering iron and even better with commands\flashing. How far have you got?

I have 2 sources for newcamd lines - one which I add into my oscam.server config file as below works:

protocol = newcamd

fallback = 1
Now if I put another set of newcamd credentials into the config - it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me why one would work and the other not when both sources are newcamd servers? Or have I been told one thing and they are another?

Is there a way to diagnose why I am unable to watch a channel and record another. It shows as recording (both tuners in use when you look at info) when I try and playback all I get is a black screen :S

I used to be able to record 1 premium channel and watch another but since re-imaging my box (Nbox5800sx) I cant do it anymore. I can quite happily record a normal FTA channel and watch another FTA but anything encryption related just will not record. Is it possible that the server isn't allowing me to record one and watch another, is it possibly a faulty box or is it possibly to do with my oscam configuration?

a box with 2 tuners will show up a 1 login but taking 2 channels a second box will show up on the server as a second login so will show up as logged in twice , so if you are not allowed to do this dont rather ask first its good manners
Thanks mate - I did ask my mate and was told it wouldn't work but wasn't given a reason why it wouldn't work so I wanted to understand the difference between how connections and channel requests worked. Its clearer now so I will move forward with the appropriate method of an additional login :)

I have a connection that works fine, its a dual tuner so obviously I can watch one channel and record another.
I have been given reshare by a friend. How do i add it to the second box in the bedroom.
If not could someone explain how a box with 2 tuners is different to 2 boxes?

Don't go Nebula v3 - its even worse! Just installed the image, and the remote was acting up. Simple things like arrow up and down took an age, this box is becoming more and more frustrating as time goes by :)
You might find you have intermittent problems with your remote. Ive had issues where it just stops responding, a reboot of the box seems to sort it - very frustrating. Not too sure if its image related but I plan a reflash later with a different Nebula version.
