Hi, I have installed OpenPLi 9.0 on my Zgemma H9 Twin (first version) and now I'm struggling to run my Xbox USB tuner. I have installed ct2-usb-xbox-one-tuner 1.1 from plugin feed, however in the tuner section of the menus my first tuner Si2166D is shown as a combined DVBcT tuner which is incorrect. Basically third tuner which is usually added is missing.

In the drivers section of the plugin feed there are the following related entries,

    ct2-usb-xbox-one-tuner 1.1-r0.0

    dvb-usb-dib0700 1.1-r0.0

The following is not on the feed,

    dvb-usb-mn8847x 1.0-r0

I also tried following commands on another occasion but with the same result as above,

    Code
    opkg install firmware-mn8847x
    opkg install kernel-module-mn88472
    opkg install firmware-dvb-demod-mn88472-02
    opkg install kernel-module-tda18250
    opkg install firmware-dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20
    opkg install kernel-module-dvb-usb-dib0700

Any feedback on where can i find the right drivers would be appreciated.

After a few days using Ci+ Helper 5.5-r0 as well as Slowzap plugin I can not see any changes in my situation and still after 10-12h of uptime of the box the module in slot 1 would become ''module not found''. At this point nothing works but a turn-off/on of the box. I have tried GUI restart and Slowzap force init without any success.

It would be appreciated to have an OpenATV/Ci+ Helper developer's input on this issue.

    Hi,

I've been dealing with this issue for sometime and now trying different solutions and would appreciated feedback from CI+ pros.

So, I have two modules (Kablio Panaccess & M7 Cam 803 Nagra) using them on Zgemma H9 Twin (1st version) with Oatv 7.3.20240315 (2024-01-30) (which was downloaded from receivers recovery menu) and Kernel / Drivers: 4.4.35 / 20201118.
I have installed Panaccess Cam on Slot 1 and M7 Nagra on Slot 2 and initially with Ci+ Helper 5.8-r2 (downloaded from here) both modules work perfectly for a few hours (less than 12 hours, i think) or after there's been many channel changes on M7 module then Slot 1 (Panaccess) becomes ''module not found'' and basically out of use and I need to do a turn-off/on of the box for Slot 1 to become useful again. This ''module not found'' problem only affects Slot 1(Panaccess) and even after the message appears the other Slot with M7 functions normally!

I have enabled/disabled high bitrate option, added services to common interface assignment and still no improvement in the situation.

I switched Cams places but another problem appeared! This time M7 at Slot 1 works either for a few seconds or as long as other Slot 2 with Panaccess is not started to decode a channel!

At the moment I'm trying Ci+ Helper 5.5-r0 instead of 5.8-r2 with original setting of Panaccess on Slot 1 and M7 on Slot 2 to see if it helps anything.

What could be the problem? and what image is more stable for operating two Ci+ cams? (although only M7 needs Ci+ to function and it would have been helpful to be able to disable CI/CI+ for each slot independently of the other one)

I'm considering subscribing to Slylink CZ offer and after reading contributions here, still have some questions,

Firstly, if their new Nagravision CAM/or their usual Smartcard with an Irdeto CAM will work on Zgemma H9 Twin which is running OpenATV with a Ci+helper plugin? Or even better, will their Irdeto card work with front smartcard reader of Zgemma H9 Twin?

Secondly, for activating and subscribing to further packages on Slylink customer zone, besides a CZ address, do I need Czech phone number/bank account or any other further verification? Or any European credit card works?

    Thank you for your advice.

Rytec team do not include radio EPG. Enable the Freesat EPG reader, it will absorb the EPG from the signal stream. Slow speed on all channels. Fast speed on following transponder:

    • Freesat (28.2e) : Satellite: 28.2E, Transponder details: DVB-S, 11426 MHz, Horizontal, 27500 Symbols, FEC 2/3.

Actually your advice explains why I’m having epg on commercial radio channels which I can receive on Astra 2G Europe beam. I checked my epg settings and my Freesat epg reader has been activated already.

Unfortunately I can’t receive the frequency you’ve mentioned as it’s on UK beam (much like BBC radios).

As I’ve checked on E-channelizer, Rytec doesn’t have any epg for radios and two other epg sources that I’ve checked (EPG Share & InediSpirou) have BBC radio stations listed in their epg but when trying to download the data it’s empty.

I’ve imported BBC Radio streams to my Radio favourites but so far haven’t managed to find any EPG source for those channels. On OpenATV I’m using epgimporter via E-Channelizer by assigning channels individually their suitable EPG source such as Rytec, but so far haven’t found any source with UK Radio channels.

I also receive Astra 28.2 but only Europe beam and as far as I’ve read Freesat/Sly epg frequencies are on UK beam.

EPG on radio channels on 11582H are shown although I’m not sure if it’s from the TP or coming from Rytec although I haven’t individually set their epg on E-channelizer.

I also receive 11608H which is a Freeview TP with EIT 7 day epg which may also include wider Freeview epg than channels on the TP however don’t know how to extract radio epg from that TP.

    Any advice/comment is appreciated :)

The card and cam should be paired(cam’s number should be registered online), but I tested it on two different samsung tvs and it works!

I tried these images, but no luck!

    OpenPli

    Openvix 5.4

    Openhdf 6.5

    Openspa

    Thank you so much!

I removed the ci helper and put ci basic settings to legacy mode, and high bitrate is on and then rebooted, but unfortunately picture doesn’t come!
My viewing card (Finland’s Elisa cable) is paired with the cam and in the CA info page I can see card number, Software version, etc.

I have been successfully using Xbox Tuner on my Zgemma box for FTA DVB-C channels, but I have acquired a viewing card for other channels and with my Conax cam I see authentication message on encrypted stations, but screen is still black! I also have Ci+ helper installed.

I was wondering if some driver for the tuner is missing? I have installed the following drivers from download page,

    Code
    dvb-usb-dib0700 (1.0-r1)
USB DVB Driver for dib0700 chipset

    dvb-usb-mn8847x (1.0-r0)
USB DVB Driver for Panasonic mn88472/3 chipsets

    Hi,

I have installed a Xbox tuner to use with my Zgemma H9 Twin running OpenAtv 6.4 over kernel 4.4.35 for the purpose of accessing DVB-C channels that I can receive. So far I don’t have any problem with FTA channels, but I want to access subscription channels via the viewing card provided by the cable operator and i have a problem. The cam I’m using is LA Digital Ci+ Conax and I have paired with my viewing card and it functions very well on Sansung tv, however on the receiver I get authentication messages and it says authentication successful, but the channels’ picture doesn’t come and screen is black! I have Ci+ helper also installed from the plugins menu.

i’m wondering if it’s because of the tuner or the cam?

    thank you so much!

I checked the drivers available on the download plugin section and found the following two out of those you mentioned,

    Code
    dvb-usb-dib0700 (1.0-r1)
USB DVB Driver for dib0700 chipset

    dvb-usb-mn8847x (1.0-r0)
USB DVB Driver for Panasonic mn88472/3 chipsets

Are these drivers enough for xbox tuner to function properly at least on DVB-C mode?

    Hi,

I’d like to install a DVB-C/T2 USB Tuner on H9Twin running OpenATV 6.4 with Kernel 4.4.35. I was wondering what brand of Dvb-c/t2 should I go for that drivers would be available and compatible. Also tuner itself available to purchase.

    Thanks 😊

    Hi,

I’d like to install a DVB-C/T2 USB Tuner on H9Twin running OpenATV 6.4, but I’m not sure what brand should I search for so that it would be the most compatible and easy to install in terms of drivers.

Your suggestions are mostly appreciated :)

    Hi,

I have a Zgemma H9 Twin running the latest OpenAtv with an Oscam-emu to run as a client. I have two separate set of lines provided by different vendors and I intend to use them separately by assigning those lines to each of my tuners so that I wouldn't be in breach of my usage agreement by accidentally requesting double keys from one provider just because I'm using two tuners. I have searched everywhere but failed to find any tutorial on how to introduce my two separate configurations so each tuner will be using their own lines.
